    LOVE. Living. At. The Marc…read more We have been living at the Marc for almost three years (and just renewed for a fourth!) and couldn't be happier here. Coming from a world of New York luxury high rises, our bar was set very high. We totally fell in love with the Marc. First off, the building's location can't be beat - just two blocks away from University Ave: you get all the action while having calm surroundings. Second, the apartments are great - spacious, well maintained and the balconies are incredible. We are on the west side and literally get amazing sunsets every night. It doesn't really matter that the building is several decades old - the apartments have been updated and Ruffino and the maintenance crew will take care of any issues. Third, amenities are terrific - pool, barbecues, gym (just renovated a few weeks ago!). Finally: the community. Hats off to Linda - master property manager - who has created an incredible community of people who want to hang out with each other! There are regular mixers at the Marc that are very well attended and our neighbors are genuinely nice and friendly people. All the above points make for a great place, but this brings it over the line as a one-in-a-million place. If you come meet Linda or Larissa to inquire about a unit and life at the Marc and if that wasn't enough to convince you, just say hi and ask around to any of the neighbors you meet up in the hallway. Everyone will be delighted to tell you how awesome it is to live here! Here's to many more great times at the Marc!

Lester helped me with pretty much everything. Loading/Unloading management, parking my pods on street and helping me secure it, helping me with my packages when I was away, and regular maintenance requests. Lester goes over and beyond to help tenants. Stephanie is very good with turn around times, she is professional and straightforward. Property itself is very quiet. Noise regulation rules are pretty nice. Property is walking distance away from Menlo Park downtown. The area is pretty walkable. I had a patio which was a very nice addition. Property rate is very reasonable given that it comes with gated parking. The only complain I have is the additional door in front of elevator's slider door. It makes moving i and out of the apartment hard. Apartment has carts, so that makes it easy to carry groceries. Overall I would give this property a 4.7/5. Rating is based on services provided for the rent they charge. Thanks APF and team.

Their kindness and attention to every last detail ensured a more than satisfactory experience for me and my family. I am proud and happy to be a resident of this space. I feel privileged to have collaborated with such a stellar team, who are always ready and available to answer any of my questions. Great location: Based on my research, it is the only luxurious apartment around the area that is not right next to Caltrain/Highway/ El Camino Real. It is really quiet during night and on weekends. Target is right across the street. It's close to but not on El Camino Real. So you get the peaceful night as well as the easy access to El Camino Real. You can pretty much shop everything on El Camino Real: CVS, TJ, Whole Foods, Fedex, UPS, etc. Costco is also nearby. Amenities: All the appliances are brand new and top-notch. The AC is the best AC I have ever seen: made in Japan, super quiet, barely notice it exists, it does exchange air with the outside air and can be used as air filter/ fan in my opinion, def my life saver during wildfire season. It has smart home system. You can voice control almost every light in the apt via Alexa/Google Home. The lighting is so sufficient you barely need a floor lamp in my opinion. You can lock your door via Alexa as well, def pandemic friendly. Great apartment design: Built-in dining, built-in trash cans, soft-close cabinets. The laundry room is on the balcony so you can barely hear your washer/dryer.The refrigerator is placed far away from the bedroom door on the other end of the kitchen. The bedroom has 2 closets (in case you want to make it his and hers). Management and service team: The team at 707 Leahy is great. Even though every of them is extremely busy, they still went above and beyond to help me all the way they can. The manager Katrina aired my apt 2.5 weeks before my lease start date. By the time I moved in, I can barely smell anything (No one wants to smell paint at home everyday during pandemic). She made sure my apt is spotlessly clean on my move-in day by asking the cleaning guy to come in and clean the entire apt again earlier in the morning of my move-in day. The service manager Hernan helped me to carry a 55in TV from 1st floor into my apartment. When I complained the fridge was too noisy and defective over the weekend. Hernan texted me at 8am on Mon morning saying he would install a new fridge for me. And I got his text with a pic around 9am saying the new fridge was installed. I was very impressed. He also helped me to install curtain rods and filled some holes I punched by mistakes. He explained to me that the AC pipeline is hidden behind the wall, that's why I cannot punch holes there. Overall, they are all extremely helpful and friendly, made my move-in life so much easier during the pandemic! Here at 707 Leahy, I do feel I belong to a community. Whenever I need help, there's always someone there to help me! : )

    I have lived at Lume Apartments for six months. While my first month here was peaceful, things…read morequickly changed once a new tenant moved into the apartment above me. The ceilings are extremely thin, and I now deal with excessive noise -- loud stomping and running -- throughout the day and night, far beyond normal living sounds. Despite clear lease violations, my repeated concerns have been met with delayed responses, often taking two weeks or more. I have respectfully requested early lease termination without penalty due to the constant disruptions to my sleep and overall well-being, but I have been repeatedly denied. Management's lack of urgency is disheartening, especially since they are not personally affected by the ongoing issues. Parking has also been problematic. I have been unable to retrieve my car on four separate occasions due to frequent malfunctions with the parking system. While reimbursement for Uber rides is technically offered, the slow communication makes that process unreliable. Even under normal conditions, retrieving your car can take 15-20 minutes or longer during busy times. I had high hopes for living at Lume, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. I will continue to update this review until my lease ends. I'm sure I will receive a fast response to this review -- I only wish my concerns and emails during my tenancy had been responded to and addressed just as quickly.

    My partner and I lived here for three years, and would have stayed if we hadn't decided to move to…read morethe city. It was the best apartment experience we had in Redwood City. The facilities are impeccably maintained for a building that was opened in 2016. Having the property manager (yay Julie!) and facilities manager (yay Osvaldo!) live onsite makes a massive difference and it is very apparent in the quality and cleanliness of the common areas. Parking is included in the rent for a 1br, and there is secure package and bike storage. The appliances are nice; we only seldom needed to submit maintenance requests, and Osvaldo responded, and often resolved, the issues within 24 hours. Bing bang boom. There was an incident involving false fire alarms being activated multiple times across multiple weeks that has since been resolved. It was a stressful time for everyone involved but Julie did her best and at the end of the day the repairs appeared to be outside of her control. Rates for security deposit and other fees are reasonable for what they provide. I could go on and on (their tenant events, their small but mighty 24/7 gym) but that might make me miss it too much. Take an in-person tour here but keep in mind units go fast, and for good reason. Their rating is well-deserved and if I ever relocate back to the Peninsula it'd be hard to stay away. The application process was smooth, and my move-in experience was even better. The maintenance team, especially Osvaldo and Valentin, are absolute gems. They're incredibly kind, professional, and quick to respond to any work orders I've submitted! truly a rare find in apartment living. Since moving in, I've renewed my lease and even transferred units to accommodate my growing family. What started as a home for just my son and me has now grown to a family of three, and Locale has been the perfect fit. The units are bright, modern, and ideal for anyone who works from home. The property itself is beautifully maintained and even charming enough to host a small elopement in the clubroom...yes, we really did that! Whether you're a single parent, a busy professional, a dog lover, or simply someone looking for a space that feels like home, Locale offers it all. It's truly worth every penny, and once you move in, I promise you won't want to move out.
