Terrible living experience. There is constant excessive noise coming from a nearby dog hotel/shelter. The dogs bark day and night with very little pause. This has been ongoing for months and makes it almost impossible to sleep or enjoy any quiet time in the apartment. The barking is clearly audible even with all windows closed. When touring the building, management shows units only during rare quiet moments, which is misleading. They also pressure you to sign a long-term lease with a same-day discount -- but the actual noise situation is nothing like what you experience during the tour. Another major issue is the extremely thin floors. I cannot walk normally in my apartment without the downstairs neighbor banging on the ceiling in response. The impact is so strong that the floor in my unit literally moves up and down when he does this. The building's construction quality is shockingly poor. I would not recommend renting here. The noise, the thin floors, and the overall living conditions make this place very difficult to live in. read more

So far things at AM for my kid has been really good. My only issue as a visiting parent has been entry ways from the garage piled with refuse needing to be picked up and the odd cleaning bucket with stuff in it just sitting there for days near entry doors. Pretty minor stuff in the scheme of things. Overall, a really good place to live. read more

Terrible experience with the staff. I first visited Nov. 7th, the guy was nice who took us on a tour. There were stains throughout the carpeted hallways. The elevator wasn't working close to apartment. It had been down for some time. This person provided a quote sheet, suggested I fill out the application online and he would seek approval to change the move-in date to later. I received a call from the female assistant manager the following Monday, Nov 10, questioning my move-in date, told approval wasn't provided to push the move-in date back from the coming 12th to the 27th or 1st. The assistant offered to take me on a tour to see a different apartment that the move-in date was later. I show up the next day for the scheduled tour, the office door was locked and the sign says back in 30 minutes. I left a voicemail after not hearing back a couple hours later I called. The young lady on the phone doesn't apologize for the missed appointment but states they decided to have an impromptu birthday celebration lunch for her. Which means they saw me and my two kids outside at the door. The office is all windows. She proceeds to ask if I want to come back the next day. I questioned if she was serious. She responds yes, lowering her voice as if to not laugh. I explained I don't know how to take their behavior because they could have called to cancel or rescheduled instead of having me drive there. I tour the next day but now I'm provided the a push back date for the following week for two apartments. Later that day I receive an email seeking proof of income. I reshare the proof of income provided in the online application but I don't hear back for days. I emailed questioning if I received approval. The manager, Lewie Tran responses that since I listed my profession as librarian but could only show proof of income as my disability insurance payments statements, which were recent, I was denied because the payments were past payments. (What is a paystub if not proof of past payments?) My income is more than what's necessary for a rental. I still haven't received my $300 deposit, going on 4 weeks now. This past Wednesday the office manager claimed they mailed the check two weeks ago mixing my two last addresses together. After I noted that was the incorrect address the manager claimed that was the only address on the application. I replied that's not possible since I have a copy of the application. I forwarded the application as proof. The next day the assistant manager emails me claiming just be returning from vacation and working on sending the check out. I've contact their corporate development office twice with no response. The office staff refuses to provide the regional managers contact information. I wonder how many other people they treat this way since they easily withhold the regional manager and director's contact information. The staff is shady and possibly discriminating. They need to be investigated, cited and fined for their practices. Stay away is my recommendation. There are three more nice apartment complexes near by. read more

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our daughter's first birthday at the Anton Menlo Apartment Complex, and we could not be more impressed with the experience. Our family was able to rent out the beautiful club room, sports lounge, and bar for the occasion. From start to finish, the event was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the outstanding support from the Anton Menlo staff. The team went above and beyond to ensure the venue was fully secured and prepared for our celebration. They also assisted us with parking reservations, making logistics seamless for our guests. Even when some of our party members had difficulty locating the event space, the on-duty staff were incredibly helpful in guiding guests and ensuring everyone arrived safely and on time. We encountered no issues outsourcing our catering and beverages, and the facilities were suited to accommodate both the vendors and our guests. The event was top-tier, and we received numerous compliments on the venue's ambiance and layout. We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism, attentiveness, and hospitality shown by the Anton Menlo staff. Their efforts played a major role in making this milestone celebration so memorable for our family. A special THANK YOU to Property Manager Lewie Tran, who oversaw the event and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome--even playing music for us during the initial setup, which brought great energy to the space right from the start. Without hesitation, we give the Anton Menlo Apartment Complex and its amazing team a full 5 stars--with zero discrepancies. read more

Anton Menlo by Anton DevCo - Birthday - Apartments Near Me - Menlo Park, California

Great apartment community. Location is amazing and staff are great. Lots of services and amenities make this a pleasant place to be.

Rented one of their Clubhouses with my friend for my graduation party. Clubhouse was gorgeous, party was great, reasonable rate for the night. We stayed late after the party to ensure we left the place nice and clean. Several guests stayed late to clean to ensure we wouldn't be hit with some mystery cleaning fee. Despite at least 5 people staying back and cleaning up, leaving the place what we believe was in excellent condition, we were still charged an unexpected "$100 cleaning fee." When I called and asked what that could possibly be about, they specificied it was due to "crumbs, a balloon, and a banner." Proceed with caution before renting a party room, they seem to be comfortable charging $100 over crumbs, removing a balloon and a banner. Their contract should be re-written to specify (A) what the cleaning fee actually is and (B) what necessitates a cleaning fee. read more

Gave them back 1 star for the wonderful housekeeping staff who are clearly working hard to clean up the messes left for them. They are sweet, friendly people. 1 star back for maintenance crew, namely Dallas who always comes to fix things quickly when I send in a request. read more

They really struggle with operations here. It's unfortunate. They also didn't refund my application deposit, which was quite upsetting.

Great place to live! I've lived at Anton for the last three years and I have only good things to say about my experience. Apartment Style: Clean apartments with modern flooring and cabinets! The patio is a nice touch for getting that fresh air! There is ample storage space, the unit by itself is spacious, and pet friendly! Amenities: The onsite gym and pool are well maintained. Ease of access makes it even easier to workout! Not to mention the Arcade with all the fun games! Pets: This is one of the best places to live if you have a dog. There's a pet wash station on site and lots of space for you and your dog to walk around the community! Including a dog park. Leasing team and maintenance: Jorge, Suli and team are great communicators and will help you with your requests to the best of their capacity. The maintenance team is amazing as well - completing almost all maintenance requests the same day it was filed. Overall, it's a great place with lots of fun amenities and options for you to host your extended family and/or friends! If you're searching for an apartment, I highly recommend Anton Menlo! read more

Stayed at Anton Menlo through Airbnb in June, not realizing it wasn't actually through the apartment complex but rather a sublease of an existing tenant. Space inside is big and modern. Appliances could all use cleaning and attention. Windows are not soundproof and a ton of noise from outside. Lights often flickered and Wi-Fi spotty. Hallways are disgusting. Stains all down hallway and are smelly from tenant cooking and garbage left for trash valet service. Although a "smokeless building," the elevators and entrance to the bottom floor lounge always smell of cigarettes. Pool area is nice but pool is frigid with no heater (really...in San Francisco temperatures? Dog Park nearby (1.2) miles away is actually built on top of a landfill used from the 50's for about 30 years. Didn't take my dog. How many forever chemicals have leaked in the surrounding ground? Yikes! Gave it 2 stars for the large spaceDid I mention having to pay for parking? Clearly, Meta did not go all out with functional units and management but definitely jumped at charging as much as they could for a profit. read more

I cannot begin to express how amazing this place, and their property manager are. One of the standout aspects of Anton was the exceptional staff. The team at Anton went above and beyond to ensure that we are living in a safe and well kept community. Lewie is empathetic, responsible, and extremely detailed in every communication and decision. I could not and have imagined a better property manager EVER. Not to mention the maintenance and cleaning staff are so amazing - always friendly, approachable, and goes above and beyond. The apartment itself (appliances, floors, layout) nothing short of fantastic. Clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, every detail was thoughtfully curated to provide the utmost comfort and convenience. The amenities offered at the apartment were also top-notch. Whether it was the well-equipped gym, relaxing pool area, or the convenient parking facilities, everything contributed to us absolutely loving our apartment. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols throughout the property. The best 4 years!!!! read more

The apartment is fantastic. The environment is clean and quiet, and the staff are friendly and always ready to help. I've lived here for nearly 2.5 years, and it's the best place I've stayed in the United States. It makes me feel safe and at home. Maintenance is also very prompt. I can't think of a single downside, except that there aren't many Chinese restaurants in this area for online ordering. read more

Not worth the money. Cons: - As one person living in a 1 bedroom, my monthly utilities averages $190. Was lied to when I signed the lease, they told me it would be around $90 since I'm just one person (seriously!?). This was a huge factor when I was budgeting for rent. You can't opt out of this. - Rent is exorbitant. I paid less in Manhattan. - Low water pressure in shower - Kitchen sink takes over a minute to get hot water (I timed it) - Constant 24/7 barking from dogs at the nearby kennel (can't open windows) - If your apartment faces a direction with no sun, or towards a courtyard, you will get no light - Slow elevators - Don't know if this is a California thing, but I'm always seeing ants and silverfish in my apartment. - Poor placement of elevators. If you get an apartment further down the hall, expect to walk a long distance to the elevator. - Literally NOTHING to do in this area. Pros: - Gym is spacious and clean - Maintenance people seem to do a good job - Gas range stoves read more

We absolutely love calling Anton home! A special shout out to the staff at the leasing office. They are always prompt and super helpful. Specially Jorge, who always greets you with a smile and always offers help. Also the cleaning staff is top notch and they're extremely polite and friendly! The apartments are ultra modern, well-designed including all equipment that everyone needs. The community is dog friendly and has great amenities; a nice pool, hottub, gym. I would highly highly recommend this place for living. read more

I lived here for 2.5 years and recently moved out because of work reasons. This has been a great place to live and I would definitely recommend it. + Very responsive staff for all our requests + Gym and pool are large + Plenty of parking + Very modern apartments with a lot of natural light + Short bike ride to FB offices + Walking distance from the nice Bedwell Bayfront park + Very close to the 101, and we couldn't hear it from our apartment + We couldn't hear the neighbors at all (we had a top floor apartment). - You need a car if you live here as there is not much around read more

Great stay. Clean and modern styled apartments with gym, dance studio, hot tub and common area. I was really interested in looking into the Luxury Apartment complex, for my friend lives in one in Culver City. From my first conversation with a girl on the phone in regards to taking a look I knew something was wrong with this company. She was just rude and impersonal. I tried calling and left messages probably 5 + time to make an appointment to come to the property for a tour. And didn't receive one call back. I just read through the yelps and I would NEVER live there now. The executives in this organization really need to step up there game clearly. Sad- read more

This place is the worst. For the amount of money you spend, while there are some seemingly cool amenities it's just not worth it. You can't actually enjoy them. They charged me a $200 fine because I had more than one guest at the pool area. The pool sits empty 96% of the time and I had one celebration for my son with his friends and teammates to celebrate them winning a little league championship. There were at least 3 other parties with people who had more than a few guests and they were not interrupted nor asked to leave and I'm almost certain they were not fined. I have been a witness of multiple parties of other people who do not have to deal with the management being rude to them. I'm a native of Menlo Park for over 40 years, I even helped get these housing development projects approved by the city, and while I've been a resident here at Anton Menlo for over 5 years, this is how I am treated. I will definitely be finding another place soon. Enough is enough. read more

The complex is decent with lots of parking, swimming pool, dog park, a cafe with free coffee, social/living room area, and a deck on the roof. Oh and a yoga room. The complex is made up of 3 buildings (A, B and C). I lived in building A and B. I do not recommend building A because it is next to driveway leading to another property and you will hear lots of noise from cars and motorcycles. The trash is picked up in this driveway early in the mornings and so the rolling of trash bins and trash trucks will wake you up very early. The walls are paper thin. Building B is quieter and more peaceful but can use some cleaning especially the carpets in the hallways. The property has a lot of open parking you can use and also has a parking garage with several floors which you can pay to have access to. I recommend paying extra and getting the parking garage. If not you will have to deal with people in the general parking areas. The buildings were made with cost-savings in mind so they used the cheapest materials they could find. The walls are paper thin. Depending who you have living above you, you will hear noise at all times of the day and night. Any noise you will be able to hear. I think the most annoying thing are the people. It's not management, it's more the people who live here. Some are just not clean or respectful people. Unfortunately, that's very hard to fix. If you are in need of EV charging, the complex has several chargers but the only ones that work are the ones inside the parking garage. The ones located outside the parking garage rarely work. The mail room is a bit weird. The mailbox assigned isn't the same as your unit number. For example if you live in unit # 10 your mailbox number might be something like # 24. On more than one occasion I received mail for another unit and a couple of times my mail never arrived. The dog park has artificial grass which is fine, but it does not drain and from the looks of it it's not washed down so when you walk into it it reeks of dog piss. I skip it and go for a walk down the street. Smoke alarms go off very easily so open all your windows when cooking and have a towel near by to fan the alarm when it goes off. I also lived at Anton 1101 which is in Sunnyvale. Anton Menlo is many many times better. Overall I think the place is doable. It's not perfect but doable. read more

I moved to Anton Menlo Apartment block A in April 2022. I like my apartment as it has a well-designed plan and a good view. However, there are 24/7 dogs barking noises from Tyson Kennels next to Anton Menlo. You cannot believe how much the noise is annoying as it does not stop at all. I reached out to the apartment several times about this issue but each time I did not get a proper response (they offered me to move to a cheaper apartment based on their list but asked me to pay the same rent price as my current apartment). You would have "a background of dogs barking" all time if you live here... There is another issue related to stealing a new credit card from my mailbox. I figured it out when I saw some charges on my new credit card without even having that. This never happened to me in other complexes, other towns, and states!! Regarding this issue, I reached out to the office but they didn't admit the issue is related to the lack of security in the complex. So, please make sure to pick up your mail from your mailbox at your earliest time!!!!! read more

I lived in Anton Menlo for two years and enjoyed it for the most part. I'm giving them a bad review because of the staff. The Manager Jorge is pretty nice and good at managing the property but the rest of his team is pretty incompetent. I always had to involve Jorge because he is the only one in that office that knows how to fix problems. The other downside of this apartment complex is the alarms. They tend to go off at odd times and it takes a while for it to stop. read more

2(number here)3B: literally you will need earplugs for the bedroom because the walls/windows are not insulated and it sounds like a waterfall of commute is in your room. if people casually talk below your closed window, you can hear everything they say. (i've lived right next to the freeway before and could never hear it because of good insulation; not this place, you have your windows closed and will wake up at 3am, then 5am, then 7am when 18 wheelers start driving down the freeway) they raised my rent 26% after one year (don't be fooled by the pics/amenities) and there's zero cell phone signal (one bar out of four for a reliable company), so good luck calling for help if you ever need it. everyone that called me asked if I was home because they knew the reception was horrible and the connection could be dropped. their washer & dryer is half the size of a normal one, so you have to do twice as much laundry, which is loud enough that you will be leaving your home twice a week while they washer/dryer is loudly running. read more

I've lived in Anton Menlo for a year and have had enjoyed it. I'm a serial apartment renter so this is saying something. PROS + The location is right off the 101 freeway making it accessible to Palo Alto and Redwood City. It's right next to Facebook as well if that suits your fancy. + The amenities are great and endless- there's a pool and jacuzzi, bbq area, dog park, dog spa (which I have used), "coffee shop" study area, lounges with couches and TVs and pool and shuffle board. There's yoga, spin, a rooftop patio, plenty of parking and trash valet. + In the unit it feels modern and quite nice because there's washer and dryer, wood laminate floors, marble-esque counter tops, gas stoves, etc. My unit was brand new at the time and in general this complex is young. + I've dealt with a spectrum of management and Anton Menlo's management was beyond my expectation. Responsive to questions, transparent when you ask, and generally pleasant people. If you culture a relationship, they can partner with you to accommodate your needs (within reason) for things like moving in or out, etc. . CONS - There's not a lot of attractions immediately near the complex. It faces a Porsche dealership and some other nondescript buildings. You can't walk to a grocery store or a bar. - This complex definitely had its share of growing pains and transitions. There was a change in package rooms and change in the way rent was paid (changing online payment vendors). - The rent prices are fair for this accessible location and high quality of living. However, they are still quite high so I wouldn't call this place a "steal." I left after 1 year of living year, purely due to the cost (which, as usual for the Bay Area rises year after year). Depending on what you value and what you are willing to pay for, Anton Menlo could be a great place to live. read more

If you are looking for a place to rent, definitely check out this property. Not to mention the new facilities and well maintained common areas. The management team is on the top of almost everything, especially the manager Jorge. He is very knowledgeable and reliable, knows exactly what you are looking for. Jorge is also detail oriented, he will walk you through every single details when you are dealing with lease or more complicated like transferring unit lease. Recently, they improved and almost perfected the mailroom system, makes me more secure to shop online, which I believe this is key value for anyone! I highly recommended! read more

Lived here for a little over a year before relocating to the PNW to be closer to family, absolutely loved it! I never had any issues with losing packages or feeling unsafe, all of the office staff are knowledgeable and have your best interests in mind. A car is basically required for living here keep that in mind, it's not really walking distance to anything but it's right off the highway so you can easily get anywhere. Whenever I had a maintenance request I'd have it fixed by the next day, trash comes to your door every day, had no problems with noise and sleeping at night, I could go on and on about the positives here. I've heard complaints about the kennel but I've never heard it even though I live in the building closest to it (C). No issues with highway noise, my roommate literally sleeps with the window open and I can fall asleep no problem, there is hardly any noise at all. If you're looking at places in the area I'd highly recommend Anton Menlo! read more

I've been a resident here for 2 years now and I have loved everyday. I moved here September 2020 during the pandemic. I was attracted to Anton Menlo over Elan due to its high level of cleanliness & amenities. Worth the extra money per month in my opinion. Management does a fabulous job of keeping everything clean! When you visit, ask for the manager Jorge or the assistant manager Lewie. Both of them are extremely professional and make the complex feel like a community. It was an awesome place to meet people & network especially if you have pets. The gym, yoga room, and cafe are open 24 hours. I use the Jacuzzi, A LOT, nice & hot. Plenty of free parking. Quite & SAFE as well. 15 drive to SFO. 30 min drive to S.F. or the beach. Facebook/Meta is down the street. The apartments are very spacious & modern with AC, not to many complexes like this on this side of the Bay Area. 5 star experience! read more

I've been living at Anton Menlo for almost 2.5 years. I have had nothing, but a positive experience while being here. It is perfectly situated right on the outskirts of the city, where residential meets industrial. This location works well if you prefer peace and quiet, no parking issues, no homeless issues, and a safe, luxury apartment lifestyle. I only have positive things to say about the entire staff from top to bottom. The maintenance and management team is responsive, friendly, professional and courteous to everyone in the complex. Whenever there is an issue, they address it right away: a busted lightbulb, dog poop, package issue or security, no problem. Jorge the property manager is a stud. He is the glue here and makes everything run. Luis and Julio could not be any cooler or responsible, it always puts a smile on my face when I see them, they keep this place running smoothly. The amenities here are awesome, I love showing them off to friends and family. The gym is 24/7, the clubroom is stylish, the hot tub and rooftop fireplace are perfect for hanging out. Kind of wish the pool was a little warmer, but it is good for a nice cold plunge. The only other negative point I can think of from living here is that grocery stores are a bit far, however, we get food trucks coming into the complex every week and every morning there are food trucks that station themselves all around the industrial complexes. Anton Menlo is on Haven street and that's how I would describe my apartment complex, my little Haven. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in Menlo Park. read more

We have been living at Anton Menlo for just about 2 years. We have been working on a home remodeling project that lasted longer than expected. This has been a fantastic place to live. The staff is attentive, friendly, and keep on top of any issues that may come up. The other tenants are friendly and easy to meet. We could have rented a home but would have never had all these extra options like the pool, gym, pet play area, ping pong, BBQ's for anywhere close to what we pay here at Anton. The location is perfect for getting anywhere in the Bay area. Parking is safe and easy. We are really going to hate leaving when our home is finished. Great place to live! Amenities are plenty and are well maintained. Management is friendly, reliable and generally responsive.

Live here. Find somewhere else while you can. Been here a couple years. They still have not assigned a door entry code to dial in. Before they had a generic number to use at least. Now they got rid of it without telling anyone. The chargers for EV were supposed to be free. They were for a while. Now not only are they not working, but not free and you have to fight to get a spot. Beware, EV owners. Don't rely on charging at home. And no communication from management. But they'll let you know when they're taking the day off, which is very helpful. And the police cars and fire trucks that show up regularly help you feel safe, which is why I give one star instead of none. read more
