Amazing selection of wines! We went to several wineries in the area while on vacation in the Finger Lakes and this was by far the best. Staff was so friendly and went out of their way to give us samples. Great location for a big group with ample outdoor seating, both covered and in a pretty field.

We stopped when we were in the area and it's definitely a different kind of wine experience for several reasons. One is that they use a combination of material and vessel types to process the wines which offers much different and unique finishes than other wineries. These processing methods represent more of the old world/ ancient wine making flavors. Another cool thing here is that they make a wonderful artisan, locally sourced charcuterie/ snack board included in the price of your tasting which is a nice bonus. They were able to accommodate gluten free as well which was also a plus. I will say that their experience is meant to be chill and not rushed. If there is no one there you would need to plan at least an hour to be safe. It was nice to not be rushed but I am a slower eater/ drinker and 45- 60 minutes to enjoy 5 wine samples and a snack board was too long, even for me. Our server would stop by every so often and then we would just be sitting there waiting for quite while until she came back with our next glass. We got a little antsy in between tastes. If you went with a few people and planned for the time you needed and weren't starving you could treat it like a mini dinner party. Our server was very sweet and friendly but she did not give us a lot of insight about the wine. It would have been nice to know more about them since they do things differently here. I was with my significant other and we were able to try a total of 10 wines which was a treat. Some of them were definitely more off the beaten path and that was fine with us. However, I will mention the server's expression and comments about some of the choices didn't set us up with imagery for a great new wine. For example one she said something along the lines of this isn't what you would just hang out and drink on the couch, it kind of smells like a barn. I totally get what she meant but it wasn't the best sales pitch of the products and who wants to ingest the aroma of a barn? The Pet- Nat's were a neat thing to try when you visit. During nice weather there is indoor and outdoor seating.

Such a cute winery with beautiful views of the lake! For $25 you get 8 wine tastings and they throw in a free personal charcuterie board as well!! I love the modern feel inside of the winery and the fact that there is plenty of seating inside and outside by the lake as well. Our server was very nice and attentive as he explained the different wines we tasted. Overall and great and relaxing experience. Will definitely be back to pick up another wine bottle from them!

My husband and I happened to be in town when the new tasting room opened. We actually learned of Six Eighty Cellars from a blind tasting we did at Once. The tasting was more expensive than many, but included a nice charcuterie board and a diverse menu. My husband and I split 2 tastings so we could each try much of the menu. My favorite by far was the Cab Sauv Pet Nat. Our server was nice, but didn't go the extra mile, which is what sets some FLX wineries apart from others even when the wine is on the better side (as is the case here). I would've loved to hear more about the winery and wines from her vs reading on my own from the materials provided. I'd definitely be open to trying this winery again on a future trip to see if I have a different experience.

So we did a wine tour. This was our favorite place. The decor is awesome. It's such a cool looking place. We got to sit in the back where the magic happens. Our guide dazzled us with all the different ways they were making the wine. Explaining all the materials they use and why. They explained what grapes are used when and why and how both things effect the taste. This place had the most knowledgeable staff of all the places we went that day. They were prepared and knew their shit. You have to go there to see the vessels they use. Now they don't do sweet wines, so if your my mom and you just want some adult Welches you won't like it. If we venture to the finger lakes again we probably won't do a wine tour. We'd just go to this place.

Ambiance fantastic. Food limited choices but good. Worst service ever- took over an hour to prepare and serve four drinks!

It felt more like a destination winery, like something you'd find on the north fork of Long Island. It was pretty crowded around 2PM and it felt a little more pretentious than some of the other wineries on the trail, but that was very easy to overlook given how good the wine is and how beautiful the view of the lake is. The one real disappointment was the food. The charcuterie board was honestly pretty bad. It not only looked, but tasted like it sat in the back of the refrigerator. My friends and I all were disappointed and shocked at just how bad it was. We expected a winery with this good of wine to have a charcuterie to match, but were left shocked and disappointed. My friends also ordered sandwiches and they had a similar reaction. Whole not necessarily bad, it was nothing special and didn't seem worth it. If I were rating this solely on the food this wouldn't be a 5 star review, however the quality of wine and the view make up for it. Overall, this should be a must visit on everyone's list.

It was only $5 for 5 tastings and that included a coupon to use towards the purchase of a bottle. The person who helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, which also added to our experience. After the tasting, we enjoyed lunch outside on the patio. The portions were large, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable too. Our waiter was also attentive. We shared the pickle fries as an app, and I got the chicken cordon bleu sandwich with fries, all amazing. Overall I'd highly recommend for both a tasting and lunch! I'd love to come back here one day.

We were hungry so we ordered the gourmet grilled cheese (to split) with our bottle of 2023 Pinot Gris. we headed outside to enjoy the weather and the view. How excited were we when they brought us not one, but TWO sandwiches. The chef decided to try a variation on the grilled cheese, so we got the original AND a second one and asked us for our opinion when we were done. The sandwich comes on sourdough with 3 (? - I think) cheeses and a garlic aioli. VERY good. The other sandwich was drizzled with rosemary garlic oil, and the bread was sliced thinner. This one was a home run! Delicious! We gave the chef our feedback and he was very happy. You can't beat the wines, food and the view. Definitely put this on your list.

A little disappointing, but for $15.00 I'm not sure what I expected. I also ended up having a wine slushie because it was so hot outside. Overall, I thought the wine was okay, but it's really the setting that makes for the experience. The food was probably the weakest part of our experience. The soft pretzel we ordered was hard. It was stale. That said, it's a nice place to sit down, enjoy the view and have a glass or two of wine. I'd come back for the atmosphere and scenery and would add it to your list of places to visit on the Cayuga wine trail.

From the road sign, the winery appeared aged and abandoned. Upon arrival, we discovered the winery wasn't housed in the barn as expected, but in another part of the property. The interior felt a tad outdated, but the warmth of the staff more than compensated. Our hostess, sweet as candy, shared that many passersby share the misconception about the winery's status. Curious, I inquired about the winery's history, to which she revealed it had been in operation for an impressive 42 years. Astonishingly, it had been around since I was a mere five years old. Despite the initial impression, the wines we sampled were surprisingly delightful, priced at $5 for five tastings. Among them, the Chancellor stood out for me - a wine rarely made well, yet they had mastered it. Ironically, the best Chancellors of our trip were found here and at the nearby Thirsty Owl Wine Company. Overall, it was a charming and unexpectedly delightful experience. I look forward to returning, perhaps when the barn is open, as we plan to revisit this lakeside area. It feels like we have unfinished business, which, in this case, is definitely a good thing!
