This place is on or by the Cayoga Lake.. it's an old school type of family owned spot. No bells and whistles. You basically sit in all sorts of chairs and whatever for your tasting they walk around and pour you your wines. Most of the wine is pretty good the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is the wine to get here if you buy any wines here. I don't do sweet wines.. The family who owns this place is cool and our wine tour guide was rather helpful and pleasant. The outside has a nice view and games to play outside and some seating outside to hang out. Oh during the fall/winter months they have a fire going. It was a cool spot and you can bring a group. They have parking... enjoy

Beautiful place for good value wines, both sweet and semi-dry. Not only does it have a great view of the lake, but the building has a ton of history dating back to 1820. I love their unique Baco Noir.

We were hungry so we ordered the gourmet grilled cheese (to split) with our bottle of 2023 Pinot Gris. we headed outside to enjoy the weather and the view. How excited were we when they brought us not one, but TWO sandwiches. The chef decided to try a variation on the grilled cheese, so we got the original AND a second one and asked us for our opinion when we were done. The sandwich comes on sourdough with 3 (? - I think) cheeses and a garlic aioli. VERY good. The other sandwich was drizzled with rosemary garlic oil, and the bread was sliced thinner. This one was a home run! Delicious! We gave the chef our feedback and he was very happy. You can't beat the wines, food and the view. Definitely put this on your list.

Mark never made any suggestions or comments between wines. The longest comment was "it's dead today and this is our busy season. . Then he wouldn't serve us what we wanted and shushed us when he said "no, you don't want that". Lastly, he uninvited us for tonight's karaoke! Then he up and disappeared when some young girl came over when we chased her down for a slushy! Not exactly the wine tasting experience we had hoped for! We're heading to the thirsty owl!
