Everything about this place is amazing! The wine, the snacks, and the people cannot be beat. We returned several times and bought bottles to take home as well!

What a nice small winery that is upscale. The wines we tried were very good and the plate they serve with the wine is prepared and displayed very well. Highly recommend their wines here. Very tasty and worth a stop if you're on the trail.

Unplanned stop on our afternoon jaunt around Seneca Lake. So glad, we stopped in. The staff were pleasant and very knowledgeable. They only offer a flight of 5 preselected wines served with a baguette, oil and dried fruit. There is a gluten free option, as well. I enjoyed the fact that I didn't have to make any decisions on what to try. It is a small venue but it feels clean and classy inside. It was a great place to chat with friends while tasting wine.

The only thing more amazing than their wine, are the people who own the business. I came to the area on my bachelorette party and have a dog named Scout so wanted to stop here. Unfortunately the town/neighbors won't allow a bus to come so we broke off into a smaller group so I could get a shirt. The owners could not have been more amazing and we loved the sparkling wine so much that two of us bought some. I cannot recommend this winery more and though I live 6 hours away, plan to follow the business from afar. Thank you so much Olivia and Daniel! I love my new sign!!!

What a gem! We were recommended to go to Scout by someone at Once and I am so glad we prioritized it. This visit was the highlight of our most recent trip to the Finger Lakes. I normally don't like chardonnays, but this was delicious. The Pinot Blanc was remarkable, though out of our price range. I asked to try the Pet Nat and it was truly remarkable and we bought 2 bottles. The food pairing complemented the tasting nicely - baguette from Blue Heron Bakery (highly recommend visiting their bakery) with apricot jam and delicious cheese. We can't wait to come back!

I was in the Finger Lakes for a bachelorette party. Prior to arriving to the area I contacted Scout Vineyards to set up a tasting as the brides dog is named Scout and it seemed fitting. The male that answered informed me that unfortunately they cannot welcome busses on the property. The plan my group had involved vineyard hopping on a bus, so making this a stop at Scout would not work for us. I planned on just going in my own to purchase the bride a bottle of wine from Scout Vineyards. On Saturday, August 20, the bride asked me to bring her to Scout in my own car. I was happy to do so. We arrived close to close, but we knew to be quick and just grab a bottle to purchase. When we entered, the male behind the counter, Daniel (one of the owners), greeted us with great enthusiasm. We assured him we would be quick and only wanted to purchase a bottle. He told us not to rush. We began talking to him about Scout the dog, and he remembered my phone call earlier in the week. The bride wanted to purchase a sweatshirt, but asked about other colors. He went in the back and found a sweatshirt color that was not yet displayed for the bride to purchase. The bride saw a sign in their business that said "Scout" on a wine barrel stave. She asked if it was for purchase. Daniel referred to Olivia, the other owner. She named a price for the sign (which was beyond reasonable) and the bride was happy to purchase the sign along with her sweatshirt. While we were talking to Olivia, Daniel poured us a tasting of their sparkling wine. It was delicious. We purchased a couple bottles of wine to bring home with us. To say we were thrilled with our experience at Scout Vineyards was an understatement. Next time we are in the Finger Lakes we will make sure to schedule a tasting (without a bus) to spend more time enjoying their property and other wine offerings.

Phenomenal tasting experience at this new winery! Several Chardonnays & a delicious baguette / cheese plate as well. Owners are so so sweet, friendly and I'll definitely be back!

First time here and loved it!! The owners are so nice and all of the wines are amazing! A Riesling that's not overly sweet and a Chardonnay that is actually delicious. I never like them normally but these are amazing. The views of the lake are stunning with a cute patio and they include a platter of yummy fresh goods in their tasting. We'll be back every time we're through the area! Highly recommend!

The wine tasting is also $15 for 5 different wines with the gold label, and an extra $3 for the black label wines. Honestly don't remember exactly which types we tried, but they were all really good. We ended up buying a bottle after the tasting and enjoying a picnic of food that we brought outside. The view is absolutely beautiful, and there's plenty of seating for big or small parties. I definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area!

First, the hillside view of Keuka Lake is gorgeous. Second, the tasting room interior has a modern and spacious feel. Third, we both enjoyed the Gewurtztraminer wine and purchased one bottle. Our server was quick to assist with the $12 tasting, but he seemed a bit rushed after a large crowd of visitors entered the facility. On the minus side, the rieslings were a bit flat compared to those of Dr. Konstantin Frank. Also, we made an advance reservation for 2pm, but the facility ignored it since it appeared to have a general "walk-in" policy for everyone. One downside of ignoring advance reservations is that it created a chaotic experience with customer waves. Also, it took about 15 minutes to check-out since a long line formed to exit and pay for the tastings. But overall, this was a good experience.

We were fortunate to have Keith as our…read moreserver, and he may have been one of the most remarkable people I've met in quite some time. His deep knowledge and passion shone through as he shared the rich history of the winery. The owners originally purchased land in Bucks County for farming but later moved to the Finger Lakes region, where they expanded into winemaking, a bakery, and a deli--a true craft-driven endeavor. Tabora was offering a special deal: buy one tasting flight, get the second free. Normally, I gravitate toward the drier the better, but the Winemaker's Jam caught my eye. My flight included: 1. 2021 Pinot Noir 2. 2021 Cabernet Franc 3. N.V. Heritage Noir 4. 2021 Maréchal Foch I started with the Pinot Noir, a light-bodied wine with aromas of cherry blossoms, strawberries, and dried fruit--absolutely sensational. Keith explained that all of Tabora's wines age in used French oak barrels but never for more than 18 months. Instead of prolonged oak aging, they transition the wine to stainless steel, preserving freshness while imparting just a touch of oak influence. Next up was the Cabernet Franc, which had soft tannins, a light body, and notes of raspberry and green bell pepper, with a slight oak finish--and wow, it was good. Then came my hands-down favorite: the Heritage Noir, a blend of different wines that was dry yet bursting with layered fruit flavors. It was truly an incredible experience on the palate. Finally, I sampled the Maréchal Foch, a sensational, jammy wine with hints of blackberry and pomegranate and a beautifully smooth finish. But Keith wasn't done yet--he had me try a few more, including an unoaked Cabernet Franc, which became another favorite. Aged 100% in stainless steel, it was bright with red fruit, hints of cherry, vanilla, and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Beyond the wines, Keith himself was a standout. As we sipped, he shared his life journey--from New York to Hawaii, a path shaped by his mother and sister. His stories were captivating, and if he ever writes a book, I'd be the first in line to read it. Cheers to Keith and Tabora for an unforgettable experience! #fingerlakes
