I really appreciate the gathering and dining with friends, it was wonderful seeing those that were present. Jackson Hall American Bar & Grill offered a casual and relaxed environment as well as a formal dining experience. We had stellar service today. We came for lobster rolls. Now, I have had lobster rolls before at a Manhattan location. They were two lobster rolls, small in size. But having a lobster roll, Let me reiterate, having one lobster roll at Jackson Hall American Bar & Grill left me with a new experience and a new perspective on what lobster rolls are. Can I talk about the Maryland Lobster & crab roll. This was one huge, I mean huge lobster roll that consisted of delicious sauteed Maine Lobster and Jumbo Lump Crab meat, poached in old bay garlic butter on a toasted roll. OMGoodnes very filling and D'licious, old bay fries was an bonus enhancer for this meal. The fries were just as tasty. I would be remiss if I did not mention the mussel pot. Absolutely D'licious. The juice, the toast, perfect combination, I can eat it as a main meal just as is! Andie, Pat, Joe P, and I devoured one pot while, Same Y, Mike S, Cathie P, and Gail B, consumed their pot. Driving an hour to get to Jackson Hall American Bar & Grill was worth driving - every second, every minute, every hour, (excuse me, I was in my Lionel Richie frame of mind) to hangout with 7 other friends, elite yelpers, priceless and there's no better place or reason to... Inspire more, Yelp more!

As mentioned they try to offer fresh, seasonal apps, handhelds, salads and entrees. The protein entree options only offer two to three chicken, pork, steak, seafood selections along with a couple of pasta infused dishes. They have a full bar, so if a beer or cocktail is wanted you do have options there as well. The Mr selected the Chilled Shrimp & Crab Stack, but eliminated the hard boiled egg aspect and thought it was light, tasty and refreshing. I opted for the Faroe Salmon with shrimp that came accompanied/on top of a risotto and peas. I thought cooked medium was perfect making it soft and fork flaky to mix along together. It was a very juicy sizable piece making it very filling. We didn't have time for a dessert, but noted they did have a few offerings there. Also noted they had very well kept mens/woman's and family restroom with baby changing table. Thanks! Would highly recommend this location to others.

Happy hour at the bar is from 12-7pm with the bar bites available after 4pm. The place is very nicely decorated and exudes an upscale but unpretentious vibe. I ordered a glass of the pinot noir which was tasty and at $6 a nice bargain. I got the chickpea fries and was surprised by the texture. It was almost custard like with a slight chickpea flavor in a very light breading. Served with the harissa aioli it made for a nice app. After a while I decided to try the Filet mignon sliders, which I ordered medium rare, the bartender said they don't usually take a temp on those but he'd note it. The meat is sliced very thin but was tender and still had a bit of red. The arugula gave it a nice peppery bite. My only critic is the slider roll was very cottony, but the overall taste was very good. I'll definitely be back and will try something off the regular menu.

We would have sat in the main dining room but there was a private group in there so we sat at the bar. So glad we did. Our server / bartender Nicole welcomed us immediately and took our drink orders. My wife had a Moscow Mule and I had an IPA. My wife said her mule was perfect! The beer was good and the taps are obviously well maintained. We each ordered burgers and shared an order of onion rings. Our burgers came perfectly prepared (rare) and the fries were crispy and delicious. The onion rings were a huge portion and were equally good. For what we ordered the bill was more than reasonable, the food great for bar food and our server, Nicole, was outstanding. I went for Wednesday Boozy Bingo. I arrived at approx 6:15pm and the place was packed but I managed to find a spot at the bar. Was served my drink quickly and given menus. There was an extensive specials menu with a few interesting choices, including :COLOSSAL SWEET AND SPICY CUBAN Bring your appetite!! Slow-braised mojo pork shoulder, grilled smoked ham, melted swiss/gruyere, Grey poupon mayo, sweet pickle-cherry pepper relish and dill pickles on pressed Cuban bread. Served with a warm mojo dipping broth and Hound fries JACK DANIELS RIBEYE SANDWICH Herb butter brushed sourdough, grilled ribeye, melted gruyere cheese, arugula and sauteed mushrooms and onions in a Jack Daniel's sauce. Served with Hound fries BLACK AND BLUE PASTRAMI Toasted marble rye, melted blue cheese, sliced pastrami. pastrami rub aioli and tangy pickled red cabbage. Served with Hound fries LOBSTER TRAP Creamy lobster mac and cheese finished with toasted old bay panko. Topped with a double smash burger on a toasted brioche bun, candied bacon, sharp cheddar, pickled red onions and an Old Bay roasted garlic aioli. Crispy onions and scallions I chose the Cuban and when they say Colossal they meant it. It could easily feed 2 even 3 people. The pork was outstanding, the ham a bit overcooked and warning the cherry pepper relish has a real kick so if you're not into spicy be ware. The fries were shoestring with their signature seasoning blend. I took home more then half. Once the bingo started it cleared out a bit but still busy. I hope some they put some of the other specials back on the menu as I'd like to try all of the above.

The only downside was that it's winter and we are smack in the middle of back to back literal blizzards and we went at night so we couldn't see any of the view. But believe me, I will definitely be back to make it all right. Every once is a while, for one of my sisters' birthdays we will hold a psychic night. This time, we saw that Snapper Inn was having a psychic night with dinner, so we decided to let them do all the work. I called over a month ahead and spoke with Jim, who was the loveliest man. He gave me all the details and I told him I would call back when I have an official head count. The psychic dinner came with a prix-fixed 3 course meal and a 15 min reading. The menu was amazing. I got the winter salad and the shrimp oreganota while ending up with the banana bread pudding. Everything was top notch, from the private set up with our reading, to the round table they sat the 7 of us at. The service was out of this world and Caroline made sure everything was done perfect. The most important thing is that my sister very much enjoyed everything. And being that this is a family owned business, according to Jim, I was proud to celebrate my family with them. I hope we can do it again.

However, The heater seemed very strong, especially if you're seated by the windows -- it felt uncomfortably hot. Entrees are priced around the $30 range, so expectations were a bit higher. Unfortunately, we waited almost an hour for our entrees. There was also a mix-up with our salad order. At first we were told the portion served was the full size, but it clearly wasn't. To their credit, the staff did replace it.
