It has potential for being a little bit better and hope it works out but we likely wouldn't return for a very long time.

Very large space and tables are well spaced out to give everyone some privacy. I also ordered a peach Bellini drink. Delicious!!! Definitely hit the spot. The ember roasted carrots featured labrieth, doqqa, and maple syrup. Keep in mind everything here comes from local farms and local breweries and distilleries. Big fan of supporting the state and local community. Fantastic! They feature only a few main entrées, tonight's included halibut, steak, chicken, and sea Island peas with jasmine rice. Knowing how well seasoned their steaks are, I went with a filet mignon 10 ounce. Probably a little more than I should've gotten, but I very rarely eat steak and know how well and good they are here. Ordered the steak medium to medium rare and that's exactly how it came out. Mouth watering delicious. Along with the steak includes mashed potatoes, chimichurri, kale, and. crème fraiche. One of our guests ordered the scallops and simply requested a little extra golden color. Instead, they arrived burnt. The salad was average at best, and the pork chop was unremarkable. Nothing about the meal stood out as particularly well-prepared or worthy of the prices. What really surprised us was the complete lack of acknowledgment of my wife's birthday. I'd made a point of including it in the reservation, and even punctuated the occasion when I checked into the host station... yet there was no effort to make the evening feel even remotely special. No small gesture, no dessert, nothing. As we were leaving, someone simply said, "Happy birthday," which honestly felt more awkward and obligatory than thoughtful. We certainly weren't expecting an elaborate celebration, but a little hospitality and attention to detail would have gone a long way. The saving grace was the atmosphere and the wonderful company of our friends. Without those two things, the evening would have been a significant disappointment.
