I agree with Fatmeh's review. They may have an aesthetically pleasing spa, but their customer…read moreservice is zero. The owner doesn't seem to understand how important it is to keep clients satisfied or to accommodate reasonable requests. They charge for consultations, while many other salons offer them for free or apply the fee toward your service. My appointment was denied with no explanation--possibly because I expressed that it's unfair to charge for a consultation without giving customers the option to apply the fee to their service. Regardless, neither the owner nor a manager (if there even is one) attempted to follow up with me. I emailed multiple times with no response. The only time I heard from them was after I booked online, when they denied my appointment and sent a short, dismissive email. After doing more research, I realized this place is highly overpriced for what appears to be low quality customer service . There are plenty of spas in the city that truly care about their clients--try NulQ Wellness, Docere, or The Well Westlake instead. Take your business there and get treated like a customer.

I never met anyone so unprofessional, and unwilling to accommodate a re-occurring customer in person. Her 10 min grace period was not honored per her policy on her website. Instead doors were locked at exactly 10 min after the appointment and she would not even talk to me as a customer to rearrange in person. This to me is really unprofessional and rude. Mind you I was there exactly at the time of the grace period ending on the dot. I even saw a worker walk away from the door as I was at the door. Even though mid drive, communication was there to let them know of this 10 min delay due to traffic. Mind you I was driving from an hour and a half away. This was a complimentary follow up appointment. Because of this, the owner was not as respectful as prior appointments. Why offer a complimentary follow up if you are going to treat a customer like this? Also this complimentary appointment was unable to be rescheduled as complimentary and that was not communicated when making the appointment. She is not mindful of her customer's time and does not respect them enough to even communicate with them face to face. This makes for a poor relationship between customer and client. No matter how "good" your work is. The one thing that sets you apart in this industry is your customer service. She also blocked me as her customer instead of allowing me to freely review on this platform. This is bad business save your money and time and go to any other med spa in the area. There is a reason there is only 5 star reviews on here she blocks her customers before they even can review!

My friend and I each bought a Groupon for a package: a facial, a massage, and use of the sauna. We…read morewere really disappointed that they could not fit us in to do our facials or our massages together so while one of us was getting a facial the other got a massage and then we traded therapists. What was kind of frustrating was we bought a package but then we had to come on a separate day to use the sauna because they did not have "enough time" to let us use all three things we paid for at the same time. On top of that the massage therapist basically talked the entire time. It was kind of annoying since both of us were looking forward to a weekend of relaxation and instead needed to entertain our therapist with conversation. The facial therapist however was nice and allowed us time to relax wit only minimal conversation when necessary. We did like the sauna ‍ however it said it was 133° but we found that hard to believe since after 50 minutes in it we did not even break a sweat. We were happy that we were able to watch Netflix while in it though.

Since my boyfriend was coming up to Ohio to visit me plus our one year anniversary was coming up I figured, why not do something sweet and relaxing for both of us?! I called to book a reservation about 10 days in advance and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful on the phone. As my boyfriend has never had a full body massage before, I decided to ask for 2 female masseuses to have him be comfortable. On the day of the massage, we arrived 20 minutes early and filled out the paperwork with info about our massage and the sauna. I had booked a 1-hour massage followed by a 45-minute session in the sauna. I also booked us in the couples suite so we could have the sauna and massage in one room. The ladies we had walked us to the room and talked to each of us individually about our surveys. It would have been helpful however if they could explain to my boyfriend what to do after they left the room. I explained it to him as this was his first time so he knew what to do. Once we both were laying on the table, our ladies came back into the room and began the massage. It was a good experience overall. After the massage we both wore soft robes and sat in the sauna for 45 minutes that was timed with a specific setting. We were able to watch Netflix during that time on their in-sauna TV. It was a good experience overall and once the timer went up, we got dressed and went to the reception desk to check out. I would recommend for any ladies who want to set up a couples massage or just one for her to be pampered. It was great! I had a great experience overall and it was very relaxing for both my boyfriend and I.

(She has healthy nails and doesn't wear acrylics nor gel). She showed a picture of acrylic nails just to show the style. The salon tried to convince her to get acrylics. When that didn't work, they told her to get gel. She called me to ask me what to do and I told her to ask for a regular French manicure. She asked, and a gentleman in the background told her it would chip, it wouldn't look good and she should get gel. My daughter deals with anxiety and started getting upset. She was going to settle for regular polish with no design, and ultimately decided to leave...IN TEARS! Furious, I called the salon and the gentleman repeatedly told me she never asked for a French manicure. (I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH HER WHEN SHE ASKED.) I said I would just write a review and hung up. The gentleman called me back within 5 min to continue to dispute. I asked the purpose of the call and they hung up. NEVER again!

I visited over a year ago in April 2023 and this review is being written in May 2024. CUSTOMER SERVICE -- In my experience, they have good customer service. I called last minute and I was able to get an appointment. NAILS -- There are a variety of styles and colours to choose from - you can keep your natural nails or add acrylic (fake) nails. I got acrylic nails for the first time with a pink gel polish. My actual nail service was a little rushed towards the end because I noticed that after the staff member was done, my cuticles or the skin around my nails were not smooth. There was still little bits of dry skin that could be cut or peeled off. The nail technician, a woman, didn't remove some of my dry skin around my nails. Granted, I could have said something to her afterwards but after already spending over 1 hour there, it was getting late at night and I needed to go back to my apartment. It was obvious to me though that the nail technician would know how to finalise a nail service. For such an expensive nail service, it would have been nice if they paid more attention to the little details. My cuticles and some dead skin were not done correctly. In addition, when I went back 2+ months later to have the nails removed, which I believe is free or $10, I noticed that my actual nails were brittle/soft/weak. It took over 4 months for my nails to feel strong again. A friend told me that the method that they used to remove the acrylic nails may have put too much pressure of on my actual nails and damaged them. I'm never getting acrylic nails and gel polish again whether here at Liz Nails or elsewhere. It works for some people but not for me. Gel polish is extremely hard to remove by yourself and that's not a Liz Nails business issue. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 29/150 total reviews in 2024 - 679 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 17 May 2024

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY…read more 2/2 bad experiences for laser hair removal (Brazilian). Booked a consult and a removal pkg. Was provided with an appt date and time several weeks out. Showed up for my appt and I "wasn't on the books." They had apparently neglected to put the appt THEY assigned ME on the schedule. They also had no slots open that entire day, so I went to a different location for my first appt. The Mayfield Heights location was excellent, in stark contrast. Returned for my second appt. 15 minutes past my appt time, they are "letting the laser warm up." 30 minutes past my appt time they call me back. Requested intermittent icing, which was helpful during my first appt. The nurse practitioner refused, saying she "doesn't like doing that," but offered me an ice pack for later and stress balls for the appt instead. Appt was extremely rushed. I expressed concern that it appeared she had missed several areas of hair growth, which is quite apparent because you can feel exactly where the laser zaps you. She insisted she had "gotten everything." Entire area is raised, swollen, and hard. It is very apparent from the individual welts left by the laser that substantial areas were missed, because they look and feel untouched, and there is no singeing of the readily visible hair. This location will fail to keep appts, waste your time, and ignore your concerns, but they'll happily take your money. Go ANYWHERE else.
