Barely any pain and no redness! It's in a hard to find spot the first time, either go through the tanning salon or drive around the back of the building. Great little place, and so nice! Had a lovely conversation while getting sugared and since it was my first time I was explained everything! I wish I lived here as this would be my go-to spot!

I've been getting waxed at the same place for years (lip, chin, eyebrows, Brazilian, underarms) but…read moresometimes it's tough to get an appointment. Sugar Haven is close to work so I decided to give it a try. I was able to get a same day appointment (around the holidays too!) which was much needed. The place is nothing fancy, just bare bones. This was my first sugaring experience. I had my lip and chin done. The pain is no different than waxing, a little less probably. The cool sugar is soothing as opposed to the hot wax that can burn. There are no strips, just a ball of sugar that is almost rolled over the area. It's not a "one and done" pull like with waxing. There are some areas that take a couple passes, but it's not like in waxing where the more rips the more pain. The redness was the same as waxing but disappeared sooner. Kyarra did my sugaring and she is a good soul. I will return for my in between waxes when I can't get into my regular place. The biggest deal for me was being able to get an appointment at a time/day that I needed. Thanks, Sugar Haven!

She did a great job and did get most of it even some of the short ones I was surprised! Tan was my first time ever and it's a little early to tell but it seems even. It was the Venetian rapid. I appreciate her honesty when spotting splotchiness and removing to redo it, I hope it all settles right and her tips with barrier application really helped minimize darkness on the rough areas. I've been going here to get my legs sugared by Christina (the Managing Licensed Esthetician) since…read moreNovember of 2016. I can't believe how kind and professional she is, even to someone who is new to the process and asks TONS of questions like me! She made sure I wasn't uncomfortable and that the sugar wasn't pulling on my skin. She gave me specific instructions to follow before my first appointment to help me be best prepared for the procedure. Her directions for exfoliation were thorough and clear; and this is a key step to having any hair removal procedure to avoid skin irritation and ingrown hair. I'm excited to keep going and see the hair growth diminish on my legs. I get horrible razor burn, so this has been the best thing for me. Christina is happy to help with any other skin questions I have, giving suggestions of things to avoid and things to try that I already have at home... Never trying to just upsell me, she has offered me a few samples to try before buying a full-sized product from their showroom. The Spa has such a calm and peaceful atmosphere, as well. So much so that I look forward to spending a couple hours having my legs sugared, even though it isn't the most pain-free experience! (It does hurt a LOT LESS than regular waxing, however!) Highly recommended!
