Hands down best service I've ever recieved when working with a salesman. I have chronic pain and am in bed most of the day. Brooks worked with us to get the price we could afford while still making sure that we got the best possible bed. The first day he explained all the differences between the mattresses and the we thought it over, came back the next day and honestly just laid on the beds for a few hours until finally making our decision. I got the complete opposite sales pitch I was expecting. I'll be honest, this is the first time I decided to invest some money into a bed, so I was not only hesitant about a large purchase but I wasn't the most informed either. Bob Cota was the smiling face that greeted me when I first walked in. He was extremely informative, very sincere/genuine, and helped me find what I needed without being pushy or selling me things I didn't need. He understood my budget and didn't try to stray but let me experience the different types of higher end beds without try to push me towards them. They had financing available with little down and no interest if paid in full within 12 mos. and also explained my bed may take a little breaking in when I first get it. It did take some time to get as fluffy as the floor model, but I since they had pre-warned me of this possibility I wasn't worried. Now I'm sleeping great and am extremely happy with my purchase and my experience. DO NOT BUY A SHERWOOD MATTRESS FROM SIT AND SLEEP!!! Better mattresses can be found on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. And with way better reviews. And I mean thousands of reviews. All the good reviews here are about how you are treated when you buy a new mattress from them. But what happens if you end up getting a bad mattress. They send someone out with a string and a cylinder to measure how much it has sank. Problem is that your mattress will wear out completely and not show it in the way they measure. We have only had our Sherwood mattress since 5/19/2017 and now it is so soft where we sleep on it that if we get to close to the edge we almost fall off of the bed. In the center where we don't sleep it is much better. Now here is another problem I have. I watched the inspector measure my mattress and it was over an inch on my wife's side. And over 3/4 inch on my side. And the manufacturer says if it is 3/4 of an inch or more then it should be replaced. But today I found out we were denied our claim. How could we have been denied?? I saw it say 3/4 of an inch and I've an inch. And the paper you get from the inspector does not say what the measurements were. I wonder why?? It's so they can screw you when it comes time to replace it. Show me come out and show me. The inspector is not allowed to discuss it with you just measure. And not tell you the measurements. You know of course they are going to be great to you up until they have your money. But once they have your money you are out of luck. They don't care. We are in so much pain from sleeping on our Sherwood mattress we are going to have to replace now. We can't wait the 90 days they say we have to wait for them to reinspect it. And get this. They said they will reinspect it for free. They tell me they are supposed to charge. The only allow one free inspection per year. So we are supposed to sleep on a crap mattress just so we can get denied again in 90 days. And please tell me when you are in pain who is going to wait 90 days. Do yourself a favor. Buy your mattress on amazon. You can get a cal king with great reviews for $500-$600 and if you are shopping for a queen. Then you can get a great memory foam bed for super cheap. Cheap enough to replace it as soon as it starts going bad. No dealing with the shady inspections from sit and sleep. Here is an update. I am so sorry to all the great employees that helped me after I left my reviews. But I can't better the stars here. Had a great girl in customer service who went to bat with the manufacturer and got my mattress warrantied. Went down to the store and was helped by Danny. He was awesome too. But the delivery department has kept all your stars away. Of course they say you get a 3 hour window. And of course ours was from 4-7 pm. And of course they call and say they are behind. Now my 3 hour window is a 5 hour window. But get this. Our new window is 1 hour past the delivery closing time. So instead of being professional and apologizing and rescheduling, They just lied to me. Knowing full well they were not going to make it tonight. I am on disability and have doctors appointments that I rearranged to be home for this delivery. Hopefully I can change it again or I won't get my bed. I need my bed. Can't sleep on the old one anymore. I am just loving how you treat your customers. read more

Well kind of, they couldn't do the kids project but they did happily help by giving samples of mattress items that we couldn't buy. They were super friendly and really went the extra mile. First time buying a mattress. This is the perfect place to start if you don't know anything about Mattresses or have not bought one in quite some time. I did the 3 min evaluation they have setup and that gave us a good stating point on what to look for as far as firmness. Art was very knowledgable and dispensed the important information and education I was looking for. Most importantly he left it up to me to react to each mattress before he would tell me about it. He was able to keep close to my budget and find me a mattress that is as good as the more expensive brand. Same warranty and so on. Needless to say this was the experience I was hoping for. My wife and I spent a few days shopping around for a new mattress, never being able to find the perfect mattress for both of us. When we walked into Sit 'n Sleep, we were greeted by Mark, who confidently assured us that this would be our last stop. Very skeptical of such a claim, I gave Mark the go ahead to show us around, and boy did he blow us away. First, out of all the mattress places we went to prior, NOT ONE! took the time to explain to us how to find the perfect mattress for both us. Mark had us lay on a mattress that calculated the amount of support each of us needed, and Sit n' Sleep has the entire store organized in 4 different ranges of firmness, dictated by different colors. My wife and I were advised to go with a Blue level mattress. After looking around, and laying on top of multiple mattresses, we found the perfect one. Now I had a budget in mind when shopping for a mattress, and unfortunately this mattress was not within our budget, but at the same time, I could not walk out of there with second best, so Mark worked his magic, found a fair price, and after needing to step away to have some lunch to review the decision we were about to make, we came back and purchased that mattress. All I have to say is that that mattress is one of the best investments we've ever made. I thought that I was waking up sore every morning because of age, but no, it was our old mattress. Art was very helpful, he didn't try to over sell anything. We told him our budget and he was so helpful to show us each mattress that was in our price range. The funny thing is my boyfriend gave him an opportunity to up sell and he didn't. He even gave us tips on when to rotate the mattress and he did mention some sort of sheet that will help protect it from fluids which we did buy. He also told us how they sanitize the floor models and that they get their trucks walked through with dogs to prevent bed bugs and other pests from being transferred from the warehouse to people's homes. He was finishing a sale with another customer while we browsed the sales floor. Mark greeted us and subsequently went back and forth between us and the other customer to help us both at the same time. He showed us the machine to assess our sleeping style which narrowed down our choices regarding a soft or firm bed. We made our choice and Mark stayed an extra hour past closing time to help us. His attitude and level of service never changed and he was more than willing to help us no matter how late it got. I recently bought a mattress from Sit 'n Sleep. My husband and I were helped by Mark. We started by answering a questionnaire and then lying down on the bedMatch machine. We were given a color coded recommendation based on the information we provided. My husband and I had visited a few stores prior to coming to Sit N Sleep and couldn't find the right mattress. I prefer a soft mattress and my husband prefers firm. We even tried the sleep numbers bed and it wasn't the right fit for us.
