Mark was very professional and knowledgeable, he educated us a lot on how mattresses are made and what kind of materials used. After I told him about my back issue, he recommended the right perfect one that would be good and helpful in a long run. We didn't feel being pushed on or any pressure at all, the whole time Mark made us comfortable and we took our time to think and decide. First, we had an analysis of what type of mattress would be best for us. Then he reviewed all the mattress types from most expensive to one that was closer to our budget. He did not push us to buy the top of the line which really impressed us. He worked out a deal within our budget. Once a mattress was selected, he gave us choices of payment. Just bought two mattresses from the Sit and Sleep in Norco, one for the wife and I and the other for our son. Larry (not the one from the commercials) helped us both times. He was extremely friendly and personable. I know theres a big mark-up on mattresses and he was able to get us down to a price we felt comfortable paying. I love walking around and jumping, I mean...laying on all the beds. Trying them out, and this location the sales guys pretty much leave you alone after they have introduced themselves. They want you to freely shop around with the comforts of your own private conversation with your partner (in my case, my awesome hubs) and only when you have a question will they come up to you. My husband has many questions (like a zillion) and they patiently answer them all. We have bought several beds from here and were even in the system from when we lived in Manhattan Beach 13 years ago. Pretty cool. The service is quick once you decide on the mattress you desire, delivery is free over $400 and they usually get it to you in a couple of days. Awesome. Great selection. We walked into the store around 4:45, we were greeted quickly by Angel. She made us feel right a home. After a series of question of what type of mattress and options we were looking for, we were then taken to an area that analyzes our needs with with today's Technology. After the Analysis, we were then showed by Angel, many, types and options! During this time Angel, took a few moments to educate us about how the mattresses are made and sharing some of her knowledge and own experience. Each time trying out a different mattress resulting in our choice that was best suited for us. Which the analysis clearly confirmed. I want to preface this by saying. Earlier in the day we stopped by Sit n Sleep competitor. It was a sales person trying to make a sale, with limited options. We left promptly! I've purchased beds 3 different times, and all at Sit 'n Sleep. Every time was a good experience. I'm that a-hole customer who doesn't want you walking up to him with a sales pitch. I want to be left alone while looking around, but they're very kind and extremely helpful. We just bought two new mattresses for our girls yesterday, and Michael Matter helped us. He was great and made it very easy. We were in and out. I can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to find something perfect for you at a Sit 'n Sleep. We bought a Sleep Number bed and 18 months of back pain later I gave it away. We picked up an Aireloom which is like a piece of cloud that dropped from the sky and landed on a box spring in the shape of a mattress that you couldn't fall through and wasn't wet. Most of your time is in a car, in front of a TV, or in a bed. 33% of your life is spent in a bed. May as well make it the best bed ever. read more

Today I revisited Sit n Sleep to find a California King mattress as my current mattress is over the recommended 7 years expiration date, combined with shoulder and neck pain as a result. Bob Cota helped me get a full sleep scan so that we could better identify the type of mattress I needed. Bob was very helpful and allowed me to try several mattresses. At the end of the day, Bob provided a really good deal on one of the store's best mattresses. I am very ecstatic about my purchase. It has been long overdue...so glad I ran into Bob today!!! Attached is an email to Mark Mitchell at the Norco store. Mark, I am using an email as opposed to texting because I have more options at my disposal. Yesterday morning as expected, I received a phone call ( obviously a pre-recorded message ) stating that a delivery would be made and that I would receive another phone call prior to delivery. So with the help of my son, we disassembled my old bed and got my bedroom ready for your folks to put the new bed together which ( foolish thinking )would bring me a much better sleeping arrangement. Sure enough at approx. 4:30 I received a phone call from a mumbling almost incoherent man who I actually could not understand. Assuming that he was the additional phone call, I asked him "is this about a delivery?".. To which he responded "yes".. That's the only word I recognized from his mumbling rambling dialogue. ..... Totally frustrated with the absence of any recognizable dialogue, I said "I'm waiting for you. So make your delivery." I sensed right then that this was not going to end well. Oh, and the alleged phone call that was to take place an hour prior to the alleged delivery...Well guess what???? It never happened. So all in all, you guys really blew this one..Big time screw up !!! Yes, the bumbling fool called at 9:30 PM wanting to deliver the bed!!! I don't know about you, but at 80+ years that's bed time for me....The problem was that my old bed was now stacked up in the garage awaiting a pick up by the DAV ( Disabled American Veterans ) Oh least I forget, I got to sleep on the family room recliner!!!!....What a fun place to sleep. Perhaps the reason behind his missing the delivery window, is that he took a long lunch. Maybe he needed the time to come out of his coma. Hard to believe, but my hunch was playing out precisely as I envisioned..What kind of a business would operate this way??? its inconceivable that any establishment worth their salt would let such conditions exist. My daughter and grand daughter both asked to come and see my new bed ( who knows if they would interested in a purchase or not ?).....You can bet your last dollar that they won't now... So following is my course of action. I will expect a full and complete refund of the total purchase price before the close of business on ( I'll give you a few days) so lets say by the close of business on Tuesday the 11th of this month.You guys breached the agreement in almost every conceivable way. If Sit N Sleep continues to operate in this manner, it will most certainly follow the path that Sears is now experiencing. I promise you this, I fully intend to contact your executives in the corporate offices at: Sit N Sleep Corporation Headquarters 14300 S Main St Gardena, California 90248 (310) 608-6838 with my feedback which will not be a pleasant exchange. I ordered a bed with a frame on sale. I ordered online and received an email stating the soonest availability would be Friday, July 3rd. I was supposed to get a delivery phone call Thursday evening. No call came and I called Friday, I spoke with customer service, to a rep named Melanie Fields. Unfortunately, my bed was back-ordered and supposedly an email was sent with this information. I never received any email. Melanie was so patient as I had my temper tantrum. She helped me find an even better mattress and discounted it by $100 with free shipping. I did receive the delivery call this evening and not one but two emails telling me my time frame on Saturday, July 4th. I couldn't believe it.
