Been having back issues so I thought it's time to purchase a new mattress. Well, thanks to our wonderful sales rep Nicole , it wasn't difficult at all to find the perfect mattress. She was very knowledgeable and patient with me since I tried practically every kind of mattress on display. I found the perfect traditional mattress with adjustable. It's only been a week but so far so good. I'm able to try out the mattress for minimum 30 days and if I don't like it, I can exchange (no returns) it for another mattress. I don't think this is going to happen because I LOVE my mattress so far. It was an easy and somewhat quick purchase and good experience. I'm happy with Sit n Sleep because they are a reputable company and I know that I'm in good hands in case something happens. I highly suggest purchasing the 10 yr warranty on the mattress and the motor of the adjustable. Overall I believe I got a good deal. Nicole was awesome because she did not push me or pressure me into buying anything. She answered all my questions which I appreciated. The "bed match" helped find our "firmness" and from there we tried out several until settling on an Aireloom Crystal Cove plush as well as two kids mattresses. Please be sure to read sit and sleeps warranty policy before setting up your bed. They have a lot of strict rules you have to follow in order to use the warranty should something go wrong. When you buy your bed they tell you you're covered, but if there are any tiny spots or anything on the mattress they won't honor their warranty. We purchased a bed and protective mattress cover. The bed is a memory foam bed that seems to be defective. The bed sinks in way to much, especially on my husband's side. We bought special supports for the box spring, we even tried turning the mattress to keep one side from getting flatter than the other and it just seems to be getting worse and worse. The mattress is only about a year old. The customer service person I've been emailing with is only offering us a $400 credit in the store, not a replacement bed or anything. How are we supposed to get a king bed for $400??? I've been waking up with horrible back pain lately and feel like this sinking mattress is at the root. I may need to see a specialist to discuss the problem but my pain increases when laying on our bed. It's a crazy sharp pain that shoots up my spine from the center of my back. This mattress, I want to say it's an icomfort, is supposed to be really great mattresses, but this one is not so great. It started out really great, but we've had it a year now and it's as though it has large patches of quick sand all over it. read more

I had been to another store looking for an adjustable mattress and was given the "hard sell" shown only mattresses that were top of the line even though I shared I had a slim budget. This was not the case with Alex Smith! He asked me what my needs were in a mattress gave me the tech mattress test that they have there and gave me options for my budget. He was patient , kind and when I came back because the delivery guys did not show me how to use the remote and I could not get it to work, he patiently made calls and downloaded the manual. She listened to what we needed and took the time to help us without the added "sales" pressure that so many stores give you. We left with the best mattress for us, and pillows. Overpriced and not worth the money. Shop elsewhere for better deals and mattresses. Recommended a hard mattress and if not happy with it sit n sleep were willing to exchange for over $200 fee. Sit n Sleep charge a $15 for delivery which made no sense. Why not just make it free. The People that delivered the mattresses had dirty hands and did not wear gloves delivering my brand new overpriced mattress. The sit n sleep person mentioned that they would be helpful and respectful but just rush in and dump the mattresses. Told them to Leave the plastic on and I will take it off. I came into this business ~ 2-3 years ago and bought a mattress with my husband. The customer service was good and we bought a mattress that was on sale. BUT there was something really crazy that happened when they came to pick up the old mattress and deliver the new one. The man who showed up to do it came earlier than the time we agreed on and I had to scramble to clean my room and apartment to let him in. My husband wasn't home and I was completely alone with this stranger. I let him into the house and showed him where the new mattress would go and he went to go take the old one away. I needed to walk out of the room to move some laundry into the next room and when I came back I saw this guy putting a pair of my underwear that had been on the floor in his pocket. For so long I blamed this on myself but you know what.. it wasn't my fault for having a messy room or the guy being too early. This is the fault of Sit N Sleep for hiring a total creep and sexual predator to deliver my mattress. I'm tired of not sticking up for myself so here is my experience. Buy a mattress here at your own risk. We don't even like our mattress that much but I was so terrified that I would see this man again so I never bothered to inform them after 30 days that we weren't satisfied. read more

Was thrilled to be shopping for a new bed. Was greeted immediately upon arrival and was guided to the sleep analyst machine. After being "measured" for the right bed and trying a few my husband and I decided to sleep on the decision. We told the sales rep Alex we'd be back Saturday. He took my information and bid us farewell even opening the door for us and saying "see you Saturday". I awoke this morning to a couple gentleman at my front door saying they are delivering the bed I ordered and expecting payment. Baffled I checked the paperwork to ensure they had the right address. Surely Sit n Sleep wouldn't just send a $6000 bed without an order. I informed the delivery people that I did not order the bed and to send it back. Since Sit n Sleep is not open yet I am unable to call and find out what happened. But needless to say I won't be returning to such a manipulative sales rep. On December 12, 2017 I went into this store to look at beds for my son. I had went into another location and my Mom went to this location to see what I was considering. She said the other location was suggesting a "cheap" mattress. I went over to this location and Alex helped us. My son laid on two different mattresses and choose the one he liked the best. The better mattress was more expensive but my son needs a good mattress, he's not a baby anymore So we order the bed and it was delivered that Sunday. My son was very excited for his new junior high bed. Delivery went smoothly and they bed was together in minutes ( would have taken me all day ha ha ) The bed frame and mattress both have a 10 year warranty so I told my son he's taking this bed to college!!!! Lol... although the bed was a little more expensive its an investment and will last much longer than the ikea "kids bed" he had. Came in late on a weeknight since I work late. Thought no one would want to deal with me a little before closing time, but I was warmly greeted by Keith and got the best service ever! My daughter was so ready to move on from her kid bed to a big teen bed and room makeover. But I work late, so as soon as I got off from work, we hotfooted it over to Sit and Sleep. Keith was super helpful in guiding us to the right kind of bed for our situation. He was very knowledgeable in the products, but what I really liked about our experience was his ability to converse with her. After all, she is the one needing the bed. We had ordered a full loft bed frame and it required a certain size mattress. Keith diligently went around measuring the beds we were interested in to make sure the mattress would fit in on our frame. After suffering sleeping on a crummy mattress, my bf and I decided it was time to upgrade. Initially just went into the Sit n Sleep in LBC to shop around and figure out what kind of mattress was best for us, they have that sleep indicator that informs you what level of firmness will be best for you depending on how you sleep (back, tummy, side). After looking around and laying down on a few we found something that we were both happy with. The sales rep, Alex, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the product that we ended up with. We are beyond ecstatic about our purchase and Alex's service just made it even better. In addition, the delivery service was great. They were able to come earlier than scheduled. The guys were efficient and friendly. Putting a price on a good nights sleep is impossible. Can't believe we didn't upgrade sooner. Thanks again to the Sit n Sleep crew in LBC. He charged my mom for items he promised he would give her for free; (2 gel pillows and a sheet set worth well over $200) He subbed at the Long Beach location for that day but he is mainly at the Torrance location. I ended up getting a Hybrid mattress with an adjustable frame. I also got all the trimmings covers bed bug protectors etc and an awesome pillow! Let me just say that I've seen Sit 'n Sleep commercials my entire life and not once did I ever think that I would actually purchase a mattress at one of their stores! I moved to Long Beach back in August and was in desperate need of a new mattress. Based on Yelp reviews of local mattress stores, Sit 'n Sleep had by far the best so I decided to give them a whirl. Buying a mattress is a lot like buying a car... you're pounced on the second you walk in the door, there are many different options and always looking to make a sale. At Sit 'n Sleep, this was the case, however, from the get-go Keith was so helpful. He walked me over to their "sleep test" bed which indicated the type of mattress that was best for me. I never knew this existed-- so cool! Then he walked me around to talk about my different options, and I was clear about my price range. After a while I made a decision on a mattress that was middle-of-the-road priced but still expressed my concerns. Keith did his absolute best to give me the best deal, which included a Labor Day promotion. Even after I got home and saw a line charge on my invoice that didn't seem right, I immediately emailed Keith to ask. He got back to me within 24 hours and explained the charge which made sense, but then went above and beyond to cut it in half for me. So generous! At the end of the day, it was still an expensive purchase but I am very happy with my experience and even happier with my mattress. My bed is now my haven and I never want to leave it! read more
