My review is solely based on my experience while shopping for a new mattress, I have not had my mattress delivered yet so cannot speak for it so far. Let me start off by saying the last 5 years I've gone through 3 mattresses due to lack of knowledge on what to buy and trial and error, too firm, to soft etc... after the last 6 months of waking up every night tossing and turning I decided it's time to try once more! I have a mattress that is too soft for me. Although it was recommended by the last mattress store I went to for my size body and positions I prefer to sleep in but I've come to realize i prefer more support over cushion. I came here on a Thursday Morning and parked my car 10 minutes before they opened that's how desperate I was to find a winner lol. Morning hours were perfect for me because I had the entire store to myself to search for a mattress, lay on them and really get a feel for each one I tried to lay on. I was greeted by Nicole and my husband and I were able to look around before we took a Bedmatch test. Nicole was very knowledgeable and patient with us and I appreciated her time with us. We did not feel rushed, I didn't feel like she tried to sell us any mattress, and she allowed us to walk back and forth between two mattresses a ridiculous amount of times. Although I know they can't fully pick out a mattress specifically for us I trusted her recommendations because I felt like she really understood what we needed. We just missed a sale but she was willing to work with us which was also helpful. I feel like we purchased a quality mattress and I am excited to experience a night on my new mattress and overall extremely grateful for the time and attention she put into making our experience pleasant. Great customer service, knowledgeable on products, and professionalism. I definitely recommend visiting this location if searching for a new mattress. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can finally say I enjoy my mattress and catch up on some much needed rest soon! read more

Visited this store and braced myself for high pressure sales tactics. Like "what's a good night sleep worth to you?" or "what do i have to do to put you in this bed today?" Well, nothing could be farther from the truth. There was no pressure and the sales lady answered all our questions. Even when we left and said we'd come back there was no eye roll or anything. Just a pleasant smile. Upon returning I purchased the mattress and set up an easy delivery. About four days later the delivery came. I got a call the night before with a time window. The next day I got text updates and calls confirming everything. Two guys showed up and with a little help from myself we got it all done in about 30 minutes (maybe less I wasn't watching the clock). If you've stumbled upon my review and are reading this wondering if it's time for a new mattress... Yes it probably is, allow me to elaborate on my experience before you potentially head on over as well. I was tired of my ancient tempurpedic "cooking" me. By "ancient" I mean the darn thing was dated for around 2004. I know... Somewhat embarrassing. For those who don't know, tempurpedic beds from that time frame were essentially the reliable memory foam dinosaur beds that weighed a ton, but they kept the heat in, thus causing you to scramble for everything "cooling" not realizing the problem is your mattress, and it's a money pit. My SO got a wild hair and suggested we stop into Sit 'n Sleep after dinner one day and from there on out the rest is history. Kevin. Kevin is the GOAT. Kevin listened to our needs of a firm mattress (not quite a brick, but definitely not a cloud), and for my sake, something that wouldn't overheat both of us. He had us lay on the firm mattresses that matched our criteria. He even had us try the softer beds we've seen through online sponsored ads (he knew they'd likely be softer than our taste but had us try regardless). We uh. We spent over an hour in the store our first go. As soon as we laid on the King Koil Purebliss sanctuary firm we knew. As soon as my SO found a remote and pushed buttons, I knew he was sold. Lmao. The bed is firm enough, cool enough (doesn't retain temperature), and the platform you can get with it puts it into zero gravity, where darn near every ache melts away. It also has a snore button where the head gently lifts up to help the airway. Aaaaaanyways. We went on vacation, ensured Kevin would be there, and decided to get it. We also learned about the proper mattress protector to keep things cool, vs ones sold online that aren't breathable, taut, and instead trap heat. It's been a few days now and everything from shopping, to ordering, and having it in our home was an absolute breeze. *They haul your old mattress out and bring the new one in. They also check in the night before as a reminder for delivery! I can't thank y'all enough for finally providing quality sleep - especially in my recent years. read more

Awful. Ordered a twin sized floor model for delivery and had to take the day off work to wait for a delivery that never arrived even though the tracking said it was on its way. It had been about 15 years since I last went mattress shopping and I admit, I was nervous! Kevin addressed me as soon as I walked in and put me right at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Mattresses have changed a lot in 15 years! Being that it is still Covid everyone was wearing masks. They have the extra precaution of laying down protective sheets on the mattresses and pillows as you're test driving them (maybe they always do this, IDK, but it was nice). About an hour and a half later I was the proud owner of a new mattress and adjustable bed frame which I am super excited to use! I was pleasantly surprised to learn they would be able to deliver the very next day. I was called within a couple hours letting me know my delivery window was between 1:30 and 4:30 the next day. Eagerly waiting in anticipation, I was even more grateful to receive a follow up advising me they were about 45 minutes away so I wasn't at all surprised when 40 minutes later they called to say they were out front (and right in the middle of the delivery window at 3pm). Fernando and Alan delivered and put everything together, also taking out my old mattress and all the trash that came with the new goods. They were also clad in their masks, very friendly and helpful as I had more questions about the adjustable bed frame. They were also super quick! You can tell they've done this a lot. I very much appreciated their help. Overall I highly recommend Sit 'n Sleep, especially the Long Beach location! We bought a mattress and frame from our local sit n sleep after shopping around. We really dug the original frame we purchased but once it was delivered the frame stuck out over 6 inches from the mattress causing a painful shin buster. Truly a horrible design and after looking at the other options almost all of them had the same shitsuation. We found one online we dug and reached out to the sales rep who helped us out. He said to take photos and describe in an email why we weren't satisfied with the original purchase. Even though the contract said we couldn't return it the sales rep fought for us and got an exchange thankfully. Total pros over there but buyers beware. It's worth taking a tape measure with you when you go shopping for a mattress and frame because what we saw and liked in the store was nothing like it was in real time in the bedroom. I went to Sit n Sleep out of pure convenience because it is down the street. After spending quiet a long time shopping around and telling the salesperson what we did and did not want, we still ended up with two beds we were not happy with. They encouraged us to keep the beds a bit longer to give it a fair trial. Still, not happy. Now, I am stuck with restocking fees with no possibility of a refund. I ended up buying a bed that at another store (most stores will let you return if you are not happy) and will give the Sit n Sleep bed away. That was an expensive donation! But, I will not give that company one more cent of my money. I would not recommend shopping there. The bed prices are too high and their restocking fee/no refund policy is a joke. I would give ZERO STARS if I could DO NOT GO HERE!!! My bed broke and I ordered 3 other ones and they've all been broken. I have not had a proper bed for 4 months now because of them! I bought a bed a few months ago and in 2 days the frame broke in half. Keep in mind they installed it and I only weight 160 lbs. I returned to the store to replace the frame but it was back ordered. I waited 2 weeks then my new frame came BROKEN in the box and I still had the original broken frame. I went to the store and requested a different one but they couldn't order any because they were all back ordered. I returned two weeks later to find the one I wanted was still back ordered and they placed me on the waiting list which would take a MONTH. I waited 6 WEEKS for my frame and it never arrived and when I called they told me it was delayed another 4 weeks they didn't even bother to notify me. It is now the end of March and since December I've had the worst frame I can HARDLY SLEEP and they have been pushing me to the side I asked for at LEAST a discount on my purchase because of everything I had to do on my own time and they refused to give me anything in return the customer service is the worst. DO NOT SHOP HERE GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. This place is a joke. read more

The service is horrible at this store. The set up of my new mattress was not completed by the delivery guys. He said he was missing nuts and bolts to install my brand new headboard. He said he was coming back at 6:30 pm and he didn't show up or call. He asked me to make another appointment earlier if he couldn't back but said he would most likely come back. I took the day off of work and I spent a lot of money here for my bed not to be set up today!!!!He didn't call me back and they are closed now!!!
