Attention OC Mattress and Tempur-Pedic. You got an incredible salesman named Jessy. I'm confident this person could sell ice to an eskimo, and do it in the most genuine and caring way. We walked in just wanting to feel out different mattresses, not expecting to purchase one. Wow, Jessy walked us thru and immediately narrowed down which ones we would like and he did not give any "pushy" attitude you might feel when at a car store. He just wanted to help us out and it shows. Many thanks, Jessy read more

Came to this mattress store after visiting well known mattress stores and wasn't happy with service nor the prices. Walking into this store felt great and was greeted right away by a guy named Ed. I wasn't sure I was going to buy a mattress that day and was in just to look but Ed took the time to help me answer questions and didn't push me into buying anything. In fact he actually helped me to find a mattress that was in my budget but still great quality and was able to give me an exceptional deal with the Memorial Day holiday. Needless to say I walked out buying a mattress feeling confident in my decision. I highly recommend this place and if you can ask for Ed read more

Eddie was amazing. He took time too learn about my sleeping g habits and a pain points. I was pressed how he explained the differences in manufacturing of mattresses regarding density, coil construction, and factory made vs hand made in nearby CA communities. Highly recommend! read more

They and one of their big mattress brands Aireloom have a very shady 10 year warranty. Has nothing to do with support which starts going after 6 months. Only if outer shell of mattress shows a depression. Which it Doesn't as the Fabric follows the general shape. So if interior support goes bad they won't cover if outer portion still looks good. I believe this is a scam!!! A 10 year scam!!! read more

This is on there webaite... however it means nothing! Be aware when buying a mattress at orange county mattress store. . You buy a high ticket item over $5,000 and it will cost you another $1000 to replace it so now you pay over $6,000 for a mattress. Be carefully before you buy a mattress and make sure you like it before buying it. My suggestion, bring sheets and your pillow to the store . Put it on the bed you want to buy and sleep there on the show room floor. Sleep over night. That way you can truly get the feel for the mattress.bdont make a $5000 mistake and then have to pay another $1000 to fix it. read more

Buying a mattress is not exactly fun. You lay on beds and try to relax in public while imagining that you will get better sleep and hopefully that will help out your life overall. I visited a number of mattress stores and finally decided on a mattress with the help of salesman Ed Duran. He was patient and knew the ins and outs of all the mattresses that we had tried out before coming into OC Mattress. Armed with a lot of information, he was honest about their products, but also about what would work best for us both for better sleep and price. The bed has been great. He was awesome and I'm pretty sure I would have gone to try more beds in other stores had he not been there when I visited. If he's in this location or covering at another location, I advise saying hi and asking for his help. I can't believe that I am writing a yelp review about a mattress store, but here we are. read more

Let's start by saying, it's the year 2023 and we all have the Internet on our phones. You should assume that we have done at least a little bit of research when considering a $1000+ purchase. To be perfectly honest, I don't need a sales person at all. I am more than capable of looking at mattresses, laying on it for a minute, and then looking at the price. Which brings me to my point. You can't do that, because the price is a secret. Never in my life have I left a mattress store feeling like I was coming out of a used car dealership. Unbelievable. The sales person talked me up telling me about the great deal he can get me. Veterans discount. "I can give deals like no one else can." Etc. I'm looking at a $5200 aireloom mattress. I can see the price on the mattress, on the aireloom website, AND on OC Mattress' own website. This guy pretends to be making a call and when no one answers says "I'll give it to you for $5100. You're not gonna find that price anywhere else." Dude, I can read the price tag and I'm not stupid. That's not the only example, just the one that made me leave with no intention of coming back. Such sleazy sales tactics that I was genuinely offended that he thought I was that stupid. He says that he's saving me $2200 in discounts, and tells me that if I want to finance, he can't give me that discount and I will have to pay the full price. Like I said, I can see what the price of this mattress is from three different sources and not a single one of them say $7000+ I don't know about you, but people are sick of this sales model. People don't want to walk into a place knowing for a fact that they look at you as a mark and not a customer. This is exactly why the mattress in a box industry is thriving. Places like this are on their way out and I can understand why. read more

Mike, the sales person today was the best. Very inquisitive, very informative. He asked all of our needs, and we cut the bed and the platform to go with it that we needed. Thank you so much, he needs a raise. read more

Don't bother. In a nutshell, I spoke to a " consultant" , not a salesman, which he made VERY clear he was not, like the word "salesman" was below him. I started asking questions, but couldn't get a direct answer to some of my questions. so I said I'll be back in a later time and as I was leaving, with a sarcastic tone he said something like, "yeah, come back when there's a " SALESMAN" here. read more

I spent hours online looking for the best mattress for my girlfriend and I. Overwhelmed with information I know I had to speak to a professional. Thank god I found him at Orange County Mattress. Ed was the best. In a world full of robotic 20-30 yr olds who lack critical thinking , human contact and genuine care for the customer, Ed is a beacon of light. He's not just a salesman he's a spokesman for his company. The sooner you empower him with all of your questions and concerns he will clear the fog and show you the best solution for your needs and budget. Don't waste your time anywhere else. Go see Ed at Orange County Mattress in Los Alamitos. read more

If I could give OC Mattress zero stars I would. We purchased a $5500 mattress from them within a year it began to sag a great deal. Noticeable to the eye and photos. They came out and looked at the mattress and said it wasn't sagging enough to do anything. My chiro says otherwise. Shady Company. buyer Beware read more

I wanted to wait before writing a review about my new Tempur-pedic mattress because I wanted to be sure I was completely satisfied. This time OC Mattress hit a home run! After trying two or three Tempur-pedic mattresses on their showroom floor. Salesman Ed did a great job of asking the right questions to determine which mattress I was most likely to be happy with. Take your time and listen to Ed. Spend a few minutes on each mattress to appreciate the technology. Although the purchase was expensive, we are super happy with everything (I was worried about mattress height). Ed is patient, knowledgeable, and he ensured that our mattress was delivered on time, old mattress and bunkie board removed. Ask him questions- we left more knowledgeable and with the perfect mattress. read more

I had been having lots of sleepless nights on my old memory foam mattress. Jason was super knowledgeable, helpful, and straightforward without being pushy or making me feel rushed which I really appreciated. He asked me various questions about my preferences/sleep style and from there helped me find a mattress that worked for me. I found out memory foam just wasn't for me, and I ended up getting a spring mattress with latex--the Corona Del Mar Pillowtop. It's been one week and I've actually been able to get some sleep for a change. I couldn't be happier! read more

We purchase our second mattress from OC mattress today. Service from Ed Duran was professional and easy going. Ed was generous with time and industry knowledge. The store was spotless and organized well. Many of his mattress selections are available locally and he had a few brands that were clearance. I'd suggest OC mattress as a first option before a retail furniture store that has no direct product representation or budget store that is looking to make a buck. 5 STAR! read more
