They and one of their big mattress brands Aireloom have a very shady 10 year warranty. Has nothing to do with support which starts going after 6 months. Only if outer shell of mattress shows a depression. Which it Doesn't as the Fabric follows the general shape. So if interior support goes bad they won't cover if outer portion still looks good. Let's start by saying, it's the year 2023 and we all have the Internet on our phones. You should assume that we have done at least a little bit of research when considering a $1000+ purchase. To be perfectly honest, I don't need a sales person at all. I am more than capable of looking at mattresses, laying on it for a minute, and then looking at the price. Which brings me to my point. You can't do that, because the price is a secret. Never in my life have I left a mattress store feeling like I was coming out of a used car dealership. Unbelievable. The sales person talked me up telling me about the great deal he can get me. Veterans discount. "I can give deals like no one else can." Etc. I'm looking at a $5200 aireloom mattress. I can see the price on the mattress, on the aireloom website, AND on OC Mattress' own website. This guy pretends to be making a call and when no one answers says "I'll give it to you for $5100. You're not gonna find that price anywhere else." Dude, I can read the price tag and I'm not stupid. That's not the only example, just the one that made me leave with no intention of coming back. Such sleazy sales tactics that I was genuinely offended that he thought I was that stupid. He says that he's saving me $2200 in discounts, and tells me that if I want to finance, he can't give me that discount and I will have to pay the full price. Like I said, I can see what the price of this mattress is from three different sources and not a single one of them say $7000+ I don't know about you, but people are sick of this sales model. People don't want to walk into a place knowing for a fact that they look at you as a mark and not a customer. This is exactly why the mattress in a box industry is thriving. If you need a bed, go anywhere else except Orange County mattress. They are not knowledgeable, helpful and sold us the wrong mattress. When we called to tell them there's a problem, they stuck their head in the sand. My husband and I went to purchase a new mattress for our adjustable bed and support a local company here in Los Alamitos, that is the biggest mistake we've ever made! We told Jason that we had an adjustable bed and we were looking to update our mattresses. The mattress that he sold us did not bend with our adjustable bottom support mechanism. It was like putting a table on adjustable support and all it could do is go up and down, but it would not bend. Then he said we would have to jump on the bed and work it so that it would bend, another lie from somebody who just wanted to make some money and had no idea what he was talking about. What are we, five years old to go jumping on a bed is ridiculous!!! When called to say there was a problem, the Jason who sold it to us said it was user-friendly. There was nothing user-friendly about this bed. It was bad from beginning to end. When we asked for our money back, they refused to do that and we would have to get another bed from them which we did not want to do. Just to confirm how bad they were, one of the owners of the company who's name is Eric and the other salesman that we ended up dealing with said they would've never sold us this particular mattress. This company has an ironclad contract, probably because of all the problems they have to deal with in selling you horrible mattresses to unsuspecting buyers. No one should ever have to sleep on a mattress that has to be "worked in". That being said, if you're still thinking about buying a bed from them, you should read every detail of the contract before you signing, then rip it up and go elsewhere to buy a mattress. This company is the worst and will make your lives miserable. We ended up having to switching a mattress on another bed in our house that was not adjustable because they refuse to give us our money back, and we were forced to buy another mattress or lose our money. That alone should tell you they don't know what they're doing. We ended up going to Bloomingdale's and worked with a very knowledgeable and nice person who knew exactly what we needed and now we are sleeping comfortably every night plus, the prices there were much better! Orange County mattress company is overpriced, not ethical and will lie just to sell you something. This is truly a buyer beware and now you've been warned!!
