Our experience started well. Ordered a custom sized sofa, and even though the 8 weeks seemed like a lot, when we finally got it we were pleased. Well made, and an excellent price point. We were so happy with the sofa that I took in 11 dining room seat cushions to be covered with the same material. BTW, they NEVER answer the phone, so after enough time we drove out to the warehouse to talk with Alex. Well, surprise surprise!! The warehouse is now empty, so I have a great 12 seat dining table and chairs with NO cushions. Alex, if you read this, keep the deposit - just call (we wrote our name and number on every cushion) and let us know where we can find them. read more

We had come here over 11 years ago to custom order a couch and a love seat. We returned after many years to replace our 12 ft sofa we had made here. It wasn't because it was broken but cushions and part of an arm piece had been damaged by our dogs a couple of years ago. The quality of the couches we had custom ordered were perfect for us. The firmness was just right and the softness of the material is very nice. We wanted to replace the couch because the material of the original was no longer available. So we went with ordering the same length couch but in a material that will compliment the love seat. The customer service is great. It made for ordering our couch quick and easy as well. I'm excited to get our new sofa. The quality is good. Comfortable enough for us and our 3 large fur babies. The place is spacious with a selection of styles to select from on the floor. They also have books of sofas and tables to look through. They have plenty of material to select from too so come and check them out and allow ample time for looking at samples. This is located in the business area, but easy to find, right on the corner with plenty of parking. read more

The couch arrived 3 days after I posted my review. The couch is very well made and very comfortable. In fact it is much more comfortable than another couch that we paid 3x more for. I would recommend this business if you are willing to wait a while for your sofa. It took over 14 weeks total but the sofa looks and feels very nice read more

Well.... We ordered our new couch February 16, 2025. STILL NO COUCH!! I have never, not once received an update during this year. I've had to call every time. At first there was an understandably delay with the color we chose. If only they'd notified us. I had to call to find that out myself. The most recent delay involves moving. 2 weeks I was told. AGAIN. more than that has passed and now we're coming up on the one year anniversary only my purchase and I'm still on my old couch. read more

Extremely Unprofessional - Avoid This Business I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company. I purchased a couch over three months ago and was repeatedly promised delivery "next week." Every time I followed up, they postponed it again and eventually stopped responding altogether. After months of excuses and silence, they finally agreed to issue a refund, but only after I made it clear that legal action would follow. I paid through Zelle as they requested -- a personal transfer method with no buyer protection -- which now seems to have been a tactic to avoid accountability. Their lack of professionalism, communication, and integrity has caused me financial loss, stress, and physical discomfort. No customer deserves to be treated this way. I am proceeding with formal complaints to the Costa Mesa Police Department, the Orange County District Attorney's Consumer Protection Unit, and the California Department of Consumer Affairs. Save yourself the frustration -- do not trust or do business with them. read more

Wow, I couldn't believe the great customer service variety, and professionalism that I got. Ryan and his team really went above and beyond to get me the very very best mattress and bed frame set, I had shopped at a different place that left me so sore I couldn't even move but they really came to my rescue. Highly recommended easy parking. Great showroom. Really go the extra mile. Easy financing, strongest recommendation. read more

Don't waste your time and money here. They were all nice and friendly when I placed my order, but once the 8 weeks were up and I started asking for a delivery date, their attitude completely changed. They became rude, as if I was asking for something unreasonable. Instead of real answers, they kept giving empty promises like 'sometime next week' or 'someone will call you back tomorrow'--but of course, no one ever called. This experience has completely derailed my plans. As a paying customer, I should be able to ask for updates once the due date has passed without being giving attitude to. read more

We purchased a new (or so we thought) queen mattress here a couple of years ago and they delivered it. It worked out okay for a couple months and then we noticed neck pain and lower back pain each morning. Our backs and necks paid the price. After many visits to our chiropractor we decided to buy a new mattress online. Our new mattress from Amazon is awesome, way better than this cheap piece of crap. ADDITIONALLY, we paid for a brand new mattress and they gave us a USED mattress and didn't bother to tell us! How shady is that? Unfortunately we didn't even notice the tag until we got rid of this old, flimsy piece of crap. BUYER BEWARE, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! read more

We've been a customer since 2014, we have referred a handful of close family and friends, and everybody that we know absolutely love their experience and outcome of their custom furniture. Sadly, our recent couch was ruined due to a flood leak so we had to get a new one and of course we immediately called the shop and they pulled up our previous dimensions and made the process so simple. We were working with Adam, he's totally patient and understanding and will help customize your dream couch. read more

I recently bought a mattress here. My experience was quick and positive. I was looking at the mattresses online and during my lunchtime at work stopped by this store on a whim, not expecting much. They did not have many mattress models, maybe 8-10, but I immediately liked one of them. The sales person was not overwhelming at all and let me do my thing. They gave me a very good price, especially because I paid cash. And it was at least 30% of what you would expect to pay online. And I made my decision in and out of the store in 15 mins. The delivery was exactly as scheduled (in 5 days - compared to 3 weeks(!) if I bought mattress online) and in the precise time window originally provided. Which I appreciated because I was very anxious about getting the new mattress. As to the mattress itself, it is made by a local manufacturer, but the quality is amazing and seriously comparable to higher end mattresses out there. It took me about 1 week getting used to the new firmness (I am coming from plush mattress that started to sag), I added a layer of organic latex topper to add some give, and now my back is not hurting anymore and saying thank you every day. Great transaction, recommend. read more

I have never had such a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with this business. We ordered a couch in SEPTEMBER and it was supposed to be delivered a MONTH AGO. Every 2 weeks, we called to see where our couch was, and they said the same thing over and over again, "it will come in two weeks". Yeah, over a MONTH LATER, they still say the same thing. DO NOT buy from these people, because you can't cancel your order without spending an extra 30% for a "refund" and you will be out of a couch for over 4 MONTHS. I'm literally begging anyone who reads this to PLEASE not do business with them, I have had better business with a 10-year-old at a lemonade stand than these people.... to this day, we still have no couch.... read more

I bought my mattress and box spring here. Adam was so nice and helpful. He was attentive and available for questions the entire time I was in the store. He made scheduling delivery and removing my old mattress seamless. He was much more knowledgeable than the people at Sit n' Sleep, Ortho Mattress, and Howard's. The delivery men came exactly when they told me they would. You're given a 2 hour window and they came within the first 15 minutes. I appreciate their level of customer service. They set everything up for me and left my place looking like they were never there. They were friendly and even gave me some great tips on my upcoming home improvement projects. I highly recommend this business. They have unbelievably affordable prices. Their employees are top notch. They follow through from beginning to end. I can't wait to make more purchases with them in the future. They offer customizable couches and have a variety of fabrics, colors and textures to choose from. read more

I would recommend this place for literally anyone. My bf and I, were moving into a new place together and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a couch, but still wanted something nice and comfy. We stopped by this place after a co-worker of mine had mentioned to me that she also bought her couch here, and it lasted her years. The service from the beginning was great! Very attentive staff and clearly explained to us how we could design our couch. We were so excited to be able to pick out our own fabric and layout of the couch. We were told the couch would take 6-8 weeks to make. Even thought it was a long time, we still said yes because you couldn't beat the price. We paid $800 flat, $400 right away and $400 when they delivered our couch. Also, just to note, our couch took 9 weeks but the staff gave us free delivery to compensate for the extra wait time, which was awesome! Our couch is beautiful, so comfy, and great quality! read more

The staff does not wear masks in this establishment**. I did enjoy the sofa I ended up with. Originally they delivered the wrong cushions. I paid for down and they gave me foam. I called the next day when I noticed and they made me bring all the cushions into the shop to have them replaced which was kind of a pain. I paid for delivery so I don't understand why I had to go back. They wanted me to leave the cushions there for a few days which made no sense. I insisted that they change them out while I wait and they were able to do it within an hour. I do love my sofa now :) read more

UPDATED: Rolf took care the cushions and rebuilt the ottoman. Thank you so much for making things right. I've updated the review to 5 stars. 10 years ago we had a great set of couches that we purchased from Sofas 98 that we eventually passed down to friends and are still in great shape. Because we were happy with them we decided to purchase our next set from them. Unfortunately the fabric and workmanship of the couches we currently have is not the same. Three months after we got them we noticed pilling on the edges and as time progressed (6 months after we purchased) we noticed the seams starting to pull on multiple cushions and our ottoman. We were told he had never seen any damage like this with, in that specific location, or anything like it with the material we chose. We picked that material with the help of the associate because we were told it would last. Beware and be careful of the material you choose. Definitely not satisfied with this purchase or experience. read more

Oh my goodness, I have time today So, I called on the phone looking for a box spring for a king size bed. I was told by the son that they had them in stock for one price don't remember what that amount was now and $20 to deliver. I get to the store and I'm greeted by the father, who quotes me a different and considerably higher price for the box spring and delivery. When I mentioned I talked to the son and was given a different price, the father honored that price but wanted more for delivery. After inspecting the box spring, it turn out that it they weren't worth either of the prices quoted, they were very cheaply made, flimsy and only came in one color (not a deal breaker). When I told the father that I was not happy with the quality of the product. His response was bye! I responded excuse me..he said it again, "Bye!" I couldn't believe my ears but nevertheless. I found the product I needed, the quality I desired at a great price that included delivery from Frank's mattress in Los Angeles and yes, they delivered to Anaheim. read more

When I moved to Costa Mesa, I came here to purchase a Queen mattress and box spring for about $770 after taxes and delivery. Which is a great deal and they also delivered same day! I came back a few weeks later to purchase a couch for $450 and put an order in for a matching storage ottoman($100). At the time of the order (September 14th) I was told that the Storage ottoman would be ready for pick up in 2 weeks. I called back when 2 weeks passed and was told my order would be done that week. I called back at the end of the week on October 6th but was told it was still not ready. I was called later in the week by the staff to let me know, they were aware of the delay with the order and had worked with their production team after receiving my phone call to put the custom ottoman at the forefront of their production list. I was able to pick up the Ottoman later that day. The order took a little longer than expected but the staff made sure to take time to inform me on the delay and provide a new timeline for pickup. I appreciate the staff taking time to call me and work with the order. read more

After a long search for a 9' x 9' sectional we paid this place a visit and I'm glad we did. We customized a white sectional and ottoman for about $2k which was such a steal! The place looks kind of questionable from the outside- just a large warehouse that's not very full of furniture, but don't be fooled! Their 'showroom' isn't that large, but has enough variety to give you a good idea of what they can do, and there's a reason why the selection is moderate instead of vast. These people are amazing. They'll custom a couch any which way you want, from: - fabric - color - size (length, width, depth of cushions) - style We started with 2 couches on the showroom floor that we liked and basically combined them. Give them your measurements and away you go! Delivery: they're pretty honest with how long it'll take realistically- 3-4wks or so till delivery (there is a charge for delivery). Customer service: wonderful. They'll spend an hour or more with you to figure things out, and then update you on anything you need to know. We had a bit of a problem initially with our couch and the format of it, but within 20min., it was cleared up. Product: just like we asked for. Everything to spec., material used seem to be very standard, not cheap or scratchy. Wonderful. read more

I can't even express how amazed I am with this store and their quality service! We went here with just a picture of a bed frame we liked and they made it come to life! First off, we were greeted by the owners. They had great knowledge and gave extremely helpful input. They helped us every step of the way, from choosing from their large variety of fabrics, to working out the dimensions of the bed frame. We needed the bed by the time of our family party and they delivered (literally)! The bed arrived and was set up by the delivery man (who by the way did an exceptional job and was really quick- we made sure to tip him well!) All in all, the craftsmanship, the materials, and the details turned out better than we could ever imagine. We will definitely be coming back again for any of our furniture needs.
