If you know anything about me, you know I place sleep above all else. In fact, I'm so obsessed with my sleep that I track it. I recently noticed my levels of deep sleep were decreasing. I was waking up with neck pain, a low readiness score, and feeling sluggish throughout the day. This is how I ended up on the market for a $200+ DreamLayer pillow. The entire process of shopping with Purple was luxurious. Their team asks a number of questions to find your perfect pillow match, such as your preferred level of stiffness and whether you sleep on your back or side. After a quick demo, I ended up purchasing their DreamLayer pillow. It's breathable, with a medium-soft firmness, and ideal for back sleepers. It also has a number of layers that can be removed depending on your neck height. I can confidently say that my quality of sleep has improved immensely. The experience at the store was great; however, the issues started with delivery. After spending $8000+ on a bed and adjustable base, the Customer Service has been terrible trying to rectify a base that came with no electrical hookups. After lots of emails and phone calls and even an email to the area manager that oversees California and Texas, the issue has still not been resolved and we have not been given any timeframe for getting this issue resolved. Except for us to file a claim online and they said they'd get back to us in a few days. Terrible follow-through, and terrible customer service after they close the deal in the store. Do not, do not, DO NOT buy a mattress from this location. I ordered a mattress and a foundation. The mattress arrived today, but WITHOUT THE FOUNDATION. And the soonest they can possibly deliver it, is FOUR DAYS FROM NOW. So, I'll be sleeping on the floor for the better part of a week, due to this store screwing up. My girlfriend and I had been mattress shopping for the past few weeks and were quite exhausted from the search. Upon entering the SoCo Collection store, it was a rejuvenating experience (no pun intended). Matt was extremely personable and pleasant to speak with and had so much patience explaining the different mattresses as we spent time trying them all out. We really enjoyed the feel of the Purple RejuvenatePremium mattress and learned that it would be around an 8 week lead time. This was a bit discouraging for us, but both Susana and Matt explaining the delivery process and the general experience they gave us at their store instilled confidence in us that we were making the right decision. So I had to charge my Tesla nearby and I saw this Purple location in front of the chargers. I was thinking since I have some time to kill to charge my car I'd check out Purple. The only thing I know about this place was from one of my closest friends - she broke with her partner and she said the only thing she wanted to keep was her Purple pillow. So I thought why not, let's take a look. We walk in to the calming smell of lavender surrounds us - off to a great start. one of the Sleep Consultants greeted us right away and tells us it's HALF OFF PILLOWS DAY. Now ya girl loves a deal, so I was in it. You can test out the pillows and mattresses as well. Our Sleep Consultant, Brianna, was phenomenal. She's so knowledgable about the product and answered all our questions. Pillow/Mattress shopping doesn't have to be boring - she definitely showed us that! This is probably the most fun I've had looking at new pillows. LOL Naturally, I wanted to buy everything that had a sale and Brianna was right to tell me to at least try the pillow first and see if I like it I appreciated her advice and I definitely would go to her for when I'm ready to purchase a new mattress. anyway - choose Purple and go to this location. Awesome show room! I wanted to test out the beds and see which I liked the most. They have a few different options. So I wasn't sure which I would like; soft or firm. I started with the top of the line that they sell. I didn't care for that one; too firm for my liking. And warm. I went to the next one down from the best mattress they sell. Also very firm. Not to my liking honestly. Found the cooling restore premier mattress and loved that one!!!!!! It's so comfortable. It conforms to your body. Normally beds are uncomfortable for me to lay on since I have curves and a big butt. This mattress just forms to your body. No extra pillows needed! It's amazing. And you can feel that it is cooler than the other mattresses. That's a win for me since I run hot! They direct you to the website to order. And they have next day shipping. Which is cool. My wife and I were in the market to upgrade our matress. We loved our queen Purple 2 for years but wanted to go bigger now that we have the space. We started off by looking at the Purple website but were totally overwhelmed by the different choices. Purple also seems to rename their mattress every few years which adds to the confusion. It's also hard to spend $3k+ on a bed without ever laying on it. Thankfully, Purple has a showroom located at SoCo Collection. We headed there on a Saturday morning and received excellent customer service from Robert. He took his time showing us their entire lineup of mattresses, explaining the differences, and letting us feel the different levels of firmness. We didn't feel pressured at all. Ultimately, we went with the Purple Restore Plus Hybrid which I believe is an updated version of the Purple 3. FYI the prices in-store are the same as the website. However, if you have a promotional coupon, you can ask the sales associate to apply it when they create an invoice for you. read more

My family and I were welcomed with a friendly associate by the name of Claire. She went through the whole process of explaining each mattress and the differences between them all. She definitely was patient with us and really listened to our needs. She made some good recommendations of other products . She let us know about their 10 yr warranty in regard to the quality of the mattress. The only downside is that we were not AWARE that PURPLE had a store at all. I Recommend that whoever is in charge of the website should definitely take that into consideration. The store looked super empty and lonely. Mind you they do have amazing selection and good quality mattresses but people need to be aware of this location. If it wasn't for a family member who has previously purchased PURPLE mattresses and informed of this location, I'm sure we would have gone somewhere else. PSA to corporate/ management/ marketing TEAM !! : please make sure you update your website and promote yourselves more !! I have a couple ideas in mind if you are looking for a new Marketing Associate. Your company has so much potential of selling more if you had more foot traffic. Relaxing Experience for your next bedding pursuit. My girlfriend and I went in to try and buy a couple pillows. We were expecting to go in and out but ended up taking our time due to the great service and ambiance. The store is designed very well as to mimic walking into multiple rooms with purple products. We even liked some of the decor and it gave us ideas for our own place. The store had the smell of lavender circulating to promote a relaxing vibe and simulate a sleep environment which we enjoyed. Most of all, our sleep genius Briana was very helpful, genuine, and pleasant to talk to. Came in on a Saturday just to see how Purple compared to Tempur Pedic and ended up liking the feel of Purple a lot more. I also received excellent customer service from Jenny. She let me try out all of the mattresses they had in the showroom without pressuring me to buy a mattress. Came back a month later during their black friday sale and ended up getting the Firm Restore Premier Hybrid Mattress with the premium plus smart base along with 2 purple pillows. We got a Purple kids mattress for our toddler from the Irvine showroom. Our two year old sleeps on it great. Brianna helped us at that location and informed us of the new Costa Mesa store opening. We decided to wait to buy our mattress and went to the new Costa Mesa store when it opened to see if there are better grand opening deals. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Brianna was there and helped us as well. We decided to buy the Premier 4 mattress. We got a free adjustable base and cotton sheets with the grand opening deal. I also like how we have 100 days to try and return if the mattress doesn't work out. It's been a week and so far the mattress is great. Way better than our old latex mattress. read more

I went here today to try out a purple mattress. I tried out the premier 4 and 3. I liked the 3 best but I didn't buy it cuz I want to think about it some more. Brianna helped me out at the store. She was really nice and helpful. She knew a lot about the mattresses and had good recommendations. She didn't pressure me at all about buying something which was something I was worried about before going in. She mentioned that they sold seat cushions and a back rest so I tried those out as well and liked them a lot so I ordered them to be delivered to my apartment. My wife and I have been doing our research and shopping for a while now. We stopped by Purple on a whim and we're pleasantly surprised to have found our favorite mattress and adjustable bed here! We were looking many other high end mattresses including Kluft, Vispring, Custom Comfort and others that were much pricier. No one had a more comfortable mattress, better bed, or better customer service than Purple and Ricky! Brother knows his stuff (in many fields) and can also hook you up with some waters and snacks while you wait! Ask for him and he won't steer you in the wrong direction. read more

I took two different styles since I was told I could return one within 30 days. Returning the unwanted cushion was easy, just a few taps on the iPad and it was completed.
