So I complained about this 3k dollar mattress not being comfortable after only having it 1 year. The manager offered to send someone out to do an inspection on the mattress. The inspector said it was in good shape, NO stains and reported this back to the Otho Mattress manager and we were still denied any resolution. I am stuck paying 3 thousand dollars for a mattress that leaves my husband and I in pain. This place does not care about their customers only the high prices they charge you for these uncomfortable mattresses. I didnt mind paying for it i just wanted somthing i am not in pain everyday after sleeping on. I will be talking to an attorney. read more

Purchased a mattress from the Long Beach location in November, 2020. I need an extra firm, for my back and neck.  They delivered a mattress to me that was not firm at all, it was very soft.  I called the salesman, he said you have to sleep on it for 30 days.  So, I was in pain for all 30 days, because it's not firm! The label on it said firm, but obviously mismarked.  Then, I am put off until mid-January to have a "professional inspector" come and check the mattress. After waiting 10-12 days for the inspection, then 10-12 days for the results, it shows that the mattress is PLUSH, not extra firm.   They agree to replace it.  But I have to wait another 9 days. I wait, I wait, I wait.  The delivery shows up:  The have brought the WRONG SIZE  mattress!!  (they showed up with a QUEEN) Come on, one mistake we can understand. But waiting months and still nothing I can sleep on comfortably???? There are obviously big problems at this company, and the customer service rep is overwhelmed and they have huge backlogs of problems. I just want a mattress to sleep on.  I paid over $950 for a new mattress, but can't sleep on it without pain. This is over the top poor service. Do not deal with Ortho Mattress. read more

The customer service has been very informative and helping throughout this process. I appreciate them following up on some issues and addressing some concerns that came up. However, the delivery service or scheduler needs some help keeping to the 4 hour time window. I was given the standard 4 hour same day delivery window which is fine. 4 hours later no call, I contact them and was told it was now a delivery time between 5-9pm. Ok that's fine, they typically give you a courtesy call. I receive a call around 8pm telling me they won't make it by 9 and give me an estimate for 9:30pm. At 9pm I receive another call tell me it won't be delivered till later around 10:15pm. FYI it's now 10:27pm and I'm yet to receive my mattress. Edit: I received the delivery at 10:35pm, I do feel bad for them, they were clearly working hard and exhausted by the end of the day yet still were professional and setup the mattress...I guess better late then never! I usually hate it when I walk into a store and the sales person comes up and starts trying to escort me and show me what he wants me to buy. My original plan was to walk in and give the first guy who came up to me credit after I told them to leave us alone until we were ready for purchase, but this occasion was different. We had the pleasure of being helped by Barry, whom was very professional and straight to the point. He's probably one of the best salesperson I've ever had to encounter. He immediately just came and informed us on the differences and the way the store was oriented to display the different types of mattresses and the advantages of each one. Not a single time did he try to pressure us with any crazy deal or distract us from the reason we were there. He was honest and told us that brand names don't mean the best mattress. Eventually, he showed us the cheaper mattresses and the best bang for our buck and we took a few minutes to decide, while he left us alone and we chose fast and got out of there with a way better deal than we expected. Barry was amazing and very helpful all the way through and I was honestly so surprised at how laid back and genuine he was. I definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a new mattress to get a taste of genuinely great customer service and a fantastic deal. I have been looking all over for a comfortable bed and I even purchased one that I was highly uncomfortable in. I had to return it and they were good about taking it back so I will not drop their name. Overall my experience with Ortho Mattress was great. Barry was extremely helpful guiding me through finding a mattress that is right for me and was never pushy. I went in yesterday to pay my balance and to schedule delivery and dealt with someone different. I had checked in on yelp and noticed the check-in offer of 2 free pillows. I was so excited since I had a flood at my place and everything is gone...including my pillows. I was told that I can't take advantage of it, that they only honor the deals on their website. Then she told me that I would have had to spend over $1,499. When I showed her the offer that said you had to spend $899, she said that's not right. I said, "but your company has it on here" and she just said no, that yelp does that on their own and Otho doesn't honor it. That response really soured what had so far been an excellent experience. Then, when I asked her if she could give me an expected delivery window she just said "no". After I waited for a further explanation, she said, anytime between 9-9 and that had I paid and had same day delivery, I could get a guaranteed delivery window but not since delivery was on a different day. What?? Nothing she said to me made a whole lot of sense, at least in terms of customer service. My mattress was delivered today and the team who called me this morning and delivered in a timely matter were great but that interaction yesterday was disappointing. read more
