We received an incomplete couch order in July where we were delivered a couch but no legs. The delivery team even let us know ahead of time and that they would follow up immediately with the store but the store was not replying to them - which was odd. After many calls and rerouted calls, the Customer service individual picked up and has provided no help. The store has been no help as well and have never provide guidance or solution for when or how they would deliver legs. Our couch has been sitting on the ground for over 2 months and still no solution. Delayed text replies, incomplete next steps and at this point, deflection is all that is provided. A couch with no legs... Let that sink in if you are deciding to go buy anything from here, a table with no legs, a chair, a couch, any of it. They are okay taking your money though. We've been patient, accommodating and open to communication but just constantly given nothing and empty follow ups. Do better Bo Concept. read more

Nice looking furniture but questionable quality and unresponsive customer service. We purchased an Osaka sectional a few years ago. A couple of years ago the frame started to sink, resulting in a big dip in the chaise section. We talked to the people at BoConcept Costa Mesa, who advised us to submit a claim. We sent pictures and were told a claim was going to be submitted to headquarters. This was 2 and a half months ago. About a month ago we send them an email asking for claim status and also left them a voice mail. Because neither was answered, we stopped by the store and were told we just needed to wait "two more weeks". About a week ago we sent them an email asking for an update - but never heard from them. This is supposed to be a premium brand, but the quality, and more importantly, the customer service does not seem to reflect that. read more

We went to this BoConcept location to buy furniture. The salesperson was very unpleasant and pushy. He kept on saying how their furniture is made in Denmark and talked about the Danish craftsmanship of their furniture. My partner looked up the reviews for their store online while I was talking to the salesperson and read previous customer reviews that in fact, their product is Chinese-made, and not made in Denmark as the salesperson falsely claimed. The furniture at BoConcept is very expensive for Chinese-made products. The quality of isn't that great, one of the floor samples they had for sales that they claimed was less than 6 months old, looked turned down and was super old. I'm not sure why they lie about where their furniture is made and why would anyone would buy furniture from this store or any BoConcept store when you can buy similar furniture for half the price or less, as we did. Rony helped us out. He is kind, patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. He helped us customize the Indivi couch to help meet our lifestyle (mainly, our cat). While they make great furniture, their customer service is well below expectation. When sales person told us to contact us in 5 mins, they never actually contacted me. After placing an order, they said they will give me an update on my order next day but again, they never contacted me. After they receive the furniture in their store, they emailed me that their delivery team will contact me to schedule within a week but they never contacted me. Each time, I had to email at least 3 times to get any answers. I personally love BO concept furniture for over 15 years but this location's customer service is something I never experienced from any other furniture store. The staff is really nice. Rony was able to help us pick out a coffee table and dining table. He was very patient and tried to meet our needs. The only thing is that this place is quite expensive. I think it's because the furniture is being shipped from Europe (I think Denmark?... I could be mistaken). Ordered nearly $1000 worth of chairs and have not received any communication in nearly two months. The lead time can be 10-12 weeks, but when they received notification of an arrival date, they don't message the customer, thus you have to track your orders and reach out. We have had a BoConcept bed for 15 years (moves several times) and still in perfect condition so we were happy to buy from BoConcept when we bought a new house and decided to upgrade. Ryan was great in advising on best choices for sofas. He pointed out various in-store offers (we ended up buying one of the special offers) and we custom ordered another. Overall, BoConcept has great quality - at a better price than other designer furniture stores. I've been searching high and low for months for high quality modern furniture. It's been especially challenging to find a sofa that's unique. I came across BoConcept yesterday and couldn't be more thrilled. There furniture is definitely unique, like something out of a design magazine. I was assisted by a gentleman named Lisandro, who just happens to be a trained architect & designer. He definitely knows what he's doing! If I could give them negative stars I would. I was sold furniture in May of this year with the promise that I would have it by august. An employee named Lisandro helped me and when he was trying to sell me furniture his follow up was consistent. I bought furniture and waited for it. In mid august I emailed Lisandro and he responds that I would get it by the last day in august. It's now almost October and I don't have any of the furniture I was promised. The worst part isn't the delay it's the complete lack of any service or accountability from Lisandro or anyone else from that store. I've called or emailed a half a dozen times since august and am constantly told from Lisandro that he would research this and get back to me but he has never followed up. When you email he won't respond anymore (could it be cause he now has your money?) when I got someone else on the phone the response I got was oh call us back if you don't have it by this time. Wait call you back is it my job to make sure my furniture is delivered to me or is that your job? Do you just sell it and leave it to your customers to do all the work after. My message to anyone reading this. DO NOT SHOP HERE, the service is horrible. This team and staff will smile at you and care to make a sale but have no regard for you after they have made the sale. I've been furnishing a new home and every other store I've bought from has provided the utmost high level service from short phone calls just to let me know where things are to what time frame I should be expecting things and most importantly a person who shows they care even after they've got your money. This store will provide none of that. In fact I'm now at the 3rd time I've been promised a follow up with Lisandro that I've never received not to mention unanswered emails. Do yourselves a favor and find your furniture elsewhere and save yourselves the time and headache in dealing with people who just want your money and have no desire to provide you with service after they have it. read more

The modern chairs I was interested in looked good yet were not comfortable. This was not the case with the Bo Concept products and were pleasantly surprise with the comfort level of these chairs. We went into the store to purchase our dining table and the staff there was very friendly and patient with us as we designed our dining table. Our table came sooner than expected and the delivery team did great assembling our new table. Once the table was assembled we realized that the table didn't look good in our home so we reached out to Stephanie and Lisandro and they were willing to help us modify our dining table so that we would be happy with it. They were understanding and very accommodating to the changes and made the process very easy.
