AMAZING! I was happy to find this store! The store offers great value to their customers with excellent customer service, high quality product at a great price! Right when I pulled into the parking lot OMZ remembered exactly the product I was looking for and showed me this product. After reading reviews decided to check Las Rug Linens out but was a bit afraid prices would be too expensive. Ended up buying a 5 by 7 rug with a nice design for a reasonable price, and they even threw in a complimentary Doormat rug with my purchase. Was served mainly by Tom but the other younger guy helping us out was nice as well. Said they've been open for 10 years and I'm not surprised. Their selection is nice and they've got great rugs in various (decent) price ranges. I plan on returning to buy a faux fur rug for another room in my apartment. This lady is satisfied. They truly deserve all the great ratings and praises you see in the other reviews. read more

Omid is amazing. I arrived at the rug and carpeting location and was greeted immediately. He was closing when I arrived but still allowed me to view the inventory. I told him what I was looking for color wise and he didn't hesitate to show me beautiful options and selections. My heart fell in love with two rugs. My budget wouldn't allow for me to depart with both of them. Although the prices quoted were more than fair, I just could do both. When he saw the struggle in my eyes trying to decide between the two, he asked me to counter his offer with another fair offer. I told him my price and we reached an agreement. These guys are very helpful. They will beat any other price for the same rug. Their customer service was on point. They brought us chairs while we gave them our information, offered us water and let us know that if we checked in on yelp they would throw in a free rug pad. We had a way better experience here than any of the other rug shops we've visited. Their selection of solid shag rugs or even their animal faux fur made us decide to buy our Christmas gifts here. We will definitely be back. read more

Best place for a rug- They have a good selection of beautifully designed rugs at affordable prices. Even the inexpensive rugs had a high-end designer feel to them. They're not just the kind you'll find at Home Depot, these looks like you got them on in the Downtown design district (which is, actually, nearby). They also have fine rugs, all of which feel Shags and unique or hand made, and even those are more affordable than the other rug shops I visited. The owner (and his gorgeous Cat) were there to answer any questions, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. read more

I was searching for a rug for a couple of days that would go into my living room. I was looking for a soft, shaggy, white rug (maybe some silver/grey tones). Omid who I believe was the owner, helped me every second of the way. He was so patient with us. I had a particular vision in mind of what I wanted so we looked at different rugs and textures..and nothing seemed to stand out too me. The selection is pretty good! Just not what I was envisioning...until I finally saw my rug! He asked one of his workers to help take it down from the hanging racks and layed it down for us to see. He even suggested for us to take off our shoes and walk on it to make sure we did like it. When it came down to pricing, we had a short discussion and since I did some previous research with prices, I had a vague idea of what I wanted to spend. He knocked it about $15 cheaper than what he originally was going to charge me. I asked if I could use the yelp deal but was hesitate. So then I opted to knock it off $5 more with a yelp deal and it was settled! Make sure you bring up the yelp deal to be clear about how much you want to spend. I didn't buy the deal before I visited anyways since I wasn't sure if I would find something I liked. Overall, I had a good experience and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything I didn't 100% love. This shop sells very similar inventory that other places around downtown and the fashion district area do but I always loved the fact that I could come in, do some bargaining and leave this place with a couple of excellent rugs for very good prices. Easy. Since the store changed location it is no longer the case unfortunately. They now have very similar prices to local HomeGoods, World Market and now there's absolutely no reason for me to drive to that $#!& hole DTLA, where my wife was literally afraid to step out of the car. It's obvious that these guys are trying hard to grow their business further from that small room at the previous location. Staying in downtown and moving to even a worst neighborhood was an idea that's far from the best, in my opinion though. I stopped by this year, tried buying a few rugs but after the owners refused to lower the price from 3-$400+ dollars, I had no choice but to go to, what used to be their old location and buy two rugs from their neighbours at Trims and rugs. Sorry guys. I know that in business it's very difficult to recover from a lower price tier once everyone knows you as a bargain place to purchase things. I truly desire you to achieve the level of success that your whole family is aiming for but raising prices and staying in the same neighborhood where people go for one and the only reason, to look for bargains is going to be difficult, to say the least. Good luck. I plan to keep stopping by once in awhile to see how the store is growing and maybe, hopefully score a deal sometime.

The owner Sasha and his son Josh are extraordinary people who made us feel like family. They helped us find a beautiful rug in our budget, and we truly felt like we had made lifelong friends. Paulino and Joel were also so helpful and nice, and the adorable dogs made our day. I will not shop anywhere else for a rug ever again, and recommend this special place without any reservation. All of the rugs are works of art, beautifully designed and crafted from the finest wools. They feel so luxurious and look beautiful. Thank you again to Sasha, Josh and everyone at Modern Rugs LA. You are wonderful people with great quality products.

We recently moved into an unfurnished apartment and visited numerous home furnishing stores such as: Living Spaces, IKEA, Ashley Furniture, Home Goods, etc. Fortunately, we successfully purchased critical pieces to transfer our space into a home, but we were totally unsatisfied with the stores rug selection to be included with our living room set. Omid encouraged us to visit his store, LA Rug Linens in downtown Los Angeles. It was the best experience for us! The quality and rug selection is remarkable. You truly get a phenomenal rug for a fraction of the price. We had friends and family over this weekend and they continued to rave about the texture and design of the rug we purchased from Omid; and based on the appearance and quality, they were convinced we spent a fortune for the rug.
