If I could give Nabi and Aara rugs more than 5 stars I would! Nabi did an absolutely fantastic job. I had stored away one of our beautiful handmade rugs to keep it safe and while it was in the closet rats had chewed a chunk out of the side. I thought for sure the rug was ruined. But then I found Aara. Nabi came to collect the rug. He cleaned and repaired the damage - perfectly. In fact he did such exquisite work, I had a very hard time locating where the damage had been. Now the rug is back in my house, as good as new. I've already given Nabi another rug to clean. I highly recommend Aara Rugs. read more

Nabi is knowledgeable and professional. He cleaned and restored a rug that belonged to my mother and had great sentimental value for me. It was in very bad shape when I brought it in, but because of Nabi's skill and attention to detail, it looks beautiful again. He also repaired and cleaned a handmade rug, given to me as a wedding gift. The rug had been stashed in a closet for years because my mother's puppy chewed a hole in the center of it. I was so heartbroken that I didn't want to look at it, thinking I'd never find anyone who would be able to fix it. I was wrong; Nabi repaired and cleaned it and the rug is beautiful! read more

We needed to have two vintage Turkish rug appraised. I searched the internet and found Aara Rugs. I called and left a message which was promptly returned. Nabi asked me to email some photos of the rugs so he could appraise them. He called back the very next day with his FREE verbal appraisal. He was so kind and very knowledgeable. We cannot say enough good things about Nabi and his caring professionalism. We first worked with Aara rugs looking for a local business to clean a very expensive Berber area rug. It was returned on-time in completely pristine condition. We were so impressed, we asked Nabi about the other pieces in our home either for cleaning or replacement (we're sorta nutty about rugs). He worked tirelessly and patiently with us, bringing rugs to try, sending pictures of possibilities... A great experience. He has incredible taste, knowledge and passion for rugs. Prices for cleaning, repair or new are VERY fair -- not in the basement and not through the roof. HIGHLY recommend! read more

We've just had 5 of our 7 rugs cleaned by Aara Rugs and they are absolutely beautiful! We've had them cleaned a couple of years ago so they were pretty dirty. The rugs that were returned looked better than new! They picked them up and delivered them. I asked for a quick return and they accommodated my request graciously. Their communication was great, letting us know when they planned to arrive. They did not have a span of time (3-4hours, for example) for delivery, pick-up. Wonderful family-owned business. They do everything right! I highly recommend this company. read more

Clearly articulated the pricing and they measured up remarkably with the job they did. They fixed several snags and loose areas too. I couldn't be happier. They did an excellent job cleaning my Chinese silk hand knotted rug! I use it in my family room and it was very dirty. I couldn't be more pleased in the hand washing and finishing they did. Truly beautiful again. It's a family business and we had done business with his father. Nabi is moving the family business forward with the care he takes in customer satisfaction and the pride in workmanship. read more

are customer service experience at Aara Rugs with the owner, Nabi. I needed a very small repair job on a hooked pillow that has sentimental value to my wife. One of our dogs had snagged it in a few places and unraveled some of the threads. Small damage, it seemed to me, so I was hopeful it could be repaired easily and inexpensively. Nabi looked at it and quoted a price beyond what we were willing to pay (sentimentality only goes so far; it is a fairly inexpensive pillow, but has images of our dogs' breed, so we had hoped to get it fixed). When we expressed our disappointment at the cost, because it was more than we were planning to pay, he explained how he would go about making it like new, and I could then appreciate the effort required and the proposed price. But then he did something I think very few people would do. We asked if there was something we could do ourselves to keep it from unraveling further, and he started to answer, then stopped. He asked for the pillow back and said he'd see what he could do, no charge. We walked to the back where he had piles of beautiful rugs; he grabbed a tool, plopped down on the floor where he'd been working to repair a large antique rug, and proceeded to work on the rough spots to keep them from unraveling further. In a few short minutes, he handed it back to us, ready once again for its prominent place on the armchair in our living room. While he didn't restore it - which I now understand would take more work than justified for this pillow - he did do what we needed, which was preserve it, and he did it with a smile and no charge. Could not have asked for a better resolution. While we are not in the market for rug repairs, if he shows that much care on a freebie repair of a dog pillow, I can imagine the care he shows to the beautiful rugs that line his shop. He really seems to love what he does, and seems to have a reverence for the work that goes into creating these works of art, so if you should ever need these types of services, I highly recommend reaching out to him. read more

I'm impressed by Nabi and this company because before charging me to come out and clean my rug, he walked me through the steps to care for the rug myself and saved me a lot of money. That is above & beyond.... Next time I have a big job to do that I can't handle myself, Nabi has earned my trust and I will call him for sure. read more
