They wrecked my nails. Worst mani I have ever gotten. It took a good six months for them to get back to normal. Horrible paint job, as well.

I think the photo speaks for itself. I took this right after I got out of the chair. The worst part is, the owner (I assume she was the owner; she was the one "in charge", anyway) specifically asked to see my nails after the technician finished (which was a bit sus - like she knew the technician wasn't any good; but then the question is, why was she even working there?), and after looking at them, she said nothing. Didn't apologize, didn't offer to redo them, didn't offer to not charge for them, and let me walk out of her salon with my nails looking like that (and took money for this!). I'm not sure what the technician did to my nails, but after getting home and taking the botched polish job off, my nails are all scratched up, peeling, and breaking. I'm not from Hudson, but if there are other options in the area for nails, I definitely recommend going somewhere else. read more

You could quite literally not pay me to go back here. I never leave a negative review, but my experience here warrants one. I'm 100% certain they are breaking all sorts of codes and regulations. My cuticle was cut to deep and she continued to paint my nails while I was bleeding and I watching blood get wiped on to the nail polish brush and her dip it back into the bottle. My pedicure was actually painful as well, and to top it off my nails look terrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, and I'm not sure what happened because it used to be a decent place to go. read more

I had gel nails done somewhere else and they lasted well over three weeks I was so delighted. I had had them done out of town so I decided I wanted to keep doing gel nails when I got back in town. I went to sister's nails and had the old gel nail polish removed. They were going to sand it off. I have never seen that before so I said no and they used acetate. I believe to remove the polish. They re-applied a gel and that lasted almost 2 weeks. read more

I called ahead to make sure that they would have time for 2 gel manicures and they were very nice! My sister and I both got very amazing gel manicures and would highly recommend this nail salon!! They were super nice and accommodating. The girl who did my nails even put 3 colors on my nails because I couldn't decide! I've been here a few times and it is unorganized, but my last visit will be my last! I would give zero stars if possible. I made a 4pm appt, they put me in the chair at 4:15. At 4:45 when the water was cold, I decided to leave. They didn't acknowledge me once during the 30 minutes sitting in the chair. What a poorly run business and horrible customer experience....it's a shame. I went somewhere up the street with no appt and was in and out. read more

I love this place. They are so kind and friendly! I had my first dip manicure done here a few months ago and I'm hooked! The manicure lasted me a month before any chipping began. And I'm a chronic nail biter and the dip makes it very hard to continue the habit. They have a big selection of colors and do great ombres! The overall quality is always good! read more

I have been a consistent client who tips 25% or more consistently for my services to show respect for the hard work and attention to detail. I work 10 hour days and understand time constraints so I make appointments. Tonight I discovered that none of the above matters. My appt was at 530. The place was packed and I could see that a 1.5 hours appt was going to take much longer and opted for my pedi to be rescheduled for Saturday morning. I sat in a chair for 2 hours with foil on my fingers ( an additional 30 because the color went wrong) and STILL no service. Others kept walking in and had their services performed at 730 I pulled off the foil and left. It saddens me to discover that my worth as a client, that my time and money spent meant nothing. I give 3 stars because of the past services... but if this had been my first visit, I would have hit a zero. read more

Sister Nails never, ever run on time. Even when you have an appointment, they run at least 30-45 minutes late. They will tell you there is a 15 minute wait and 40 minutes later they will say "ten more minutes". If the manicure/pedicure was great, I would consider dealing with the lateness, but it is below average and the polish doesn't last. Wont go back. read more

if you're not busy and like waiting around for appointments, go here! I've tried this place twice and made appointments both time. Both times, I've arrived 5 minutes before the appointment and have waited. 20 minutes the first time and after 30 minutes the second time, I told them I had to leave. I stopped into Sister's Nails in Hudson and hoped they could just do a color change with regular nail polish. The woman who runs the place told me that regular nail polish would "chip" and was trying to convince me to use acrylic nails. I insisted that I only wanted regular nail polish and picked my color. She then proceeded to destroy my nails!! She used a clear coat that I assumed would just be a natural thing to do before the color I selected was painted on. I swear to you...she used a product that completely ruined my nails. I cannot get it off and my nails look terrible. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. read more

After many years of going to this Salon, I finally lost patience with how poorly they manage scheduled appointments. I've arrived on time for my appointment numerous times and found they squeezed in another client and told me to wait. Another time I walked in with no appointment and while partially through a pedicure, Tina found out someone had an appointment with her. The new owners here have really made a big difference. They are friendly and accommodating. The have a great selection of color and can really do almost anything you need. I find that my gel polish nails last about 3 weeks. I would love to see the place get a little cosmetic update with some new paint colors but even if it doesn't I will continue to come here. read more
