The original shower door was approximately 20 years old and definitely showing wear. Additionally, it was one of the old framed metal doors that also had 2 panels connected, one of which was at an acute 45 degree angle, making it more difficult to replace. I spoke on the phone with Julia and also Elizabeth who were very helpful and suggested that a full replacement was easy to accomplish. Glass Accents quickly gave me an preliminary estimate, sent Ben out to measure, and provided several options for the hardware. Ben brought out several finishes to show me to try and match other finishes in my bathroom. When none of these finishes satisfied my preferences, Ben quickly suggested that they could obtain additional finishes with some detective work. A few days later, Ben dropped by and showed me the two additional finishes, of which one was really close to my existing fixtures. Therefore, the order was placed. In a period of less than 2 weeks, I received a call from Elizabeth telling me that they had received the glass and had a cancellation in their schedule, offering to come out to begin the installation that afternoon. Within a few hours, Sean and Ben arrived and began the removal and installation of my new shower door. This spilled over into the next day, but that was not an issue since I have a shower in a second bathroom. The following day, the tag team of Sean and Ben completed the installation. I was astonished at how well the new shower door and panel looked compared to the existing one. It was literally night and day! Ben had to make one additional trip out for a minor adjustment to the door to have it close completely without the narrow gap that was present. This did the trick! Overall, I am rating Glass Accents a "10" for customer service, professionalism, advice and flexibility during the selection process, and attentiveness to satisfy my desire for a new shower door. I can't comment on the competitive bid, as I was so impressed with their initial response, that I didn't even bother to obtain a second bid. All of this was during the COVID-19 pandemic which certainly made the measurements and installation that much more complicated. My expectations have been exceed with Glass Accents!"

From the beginning timeline to the final walk-through (and follow-up visits) James was a pleasure to work with. He transparently communicated pricing and change orders, extended his professional discounts, and was just plain nice to have around the house for almost two months. All of his subcontractors were a pleasure to have around and spoke very highly of James. One even mentioned how he's one of the few contractors in Bend they will work with because of his honesty and follow-through. I finally have the kitchen I want, and for a reasonable price tag. John and his team delivered a fabulous product. Our previous kitchen was a design mess. It was dark, ergonomically crazy and not fun to cook in. I HATED it! We had some ideas about what we needed to fix, but John had the vision of what to do and was good explaining his ideas. They worked well with us to reduce costs too. We were able to assemble our own ikea cabinets saving a bit there. I would not recommend this unless you have done some Ikea assembly and are familiar with their methods. We also did much of our own deconstruction of the old kitchen. We had previously put down hardwood floor, so we had to remove old cabinets, appliances and wall tiles. We did as much as we could, which was down to the wall. John and his crew came in and worked very efficiently. Ours was not a 5 day kitchen as they had to do more structural and more plumbing and move gas lines etc. We had a great new kitchen in 3 weeks. They were responsive quickly with a few little things we found to touch up after the construction. We are still very happy with our kitchen. What amazes me is that we had about 4 feet of counter space before and now have about 14 feet and the place does not look crowded. Our kitchen looks so much bigger than before. Design makes a difference. Creativity and innovation make a difference. I recommend working with these folks.

The estimator was friendly and gave me a reasonable quote for a deep clean and as I requested bi-weekly house cleaning. I've been using Cleaner Living for almost three months now and I've had the same house cleaner, Sonia, the entire time. She's thorough, very friendly and considerate. We work from home with dogs and she easily works around us and the chaos. Our house looks great and I look forward to her visits. Oh! I almost forgot, Cleaner Living is an eco-friendly cleaning service and uses non-toxic, hypoallergenic, green cleaning supplies. If you are allergic to scents they won't use any. We usually choose lemongrass or peppermint because they smell amazing. I've been telling all my neighbors in Northwest Crossing about this service, I just love it. My neighbor just used them for window cleaning and said they did an amazing job. We'll keep them in mind next time we need our carpets or windows cleaned.

In the meantime, someone suggested to my wife that we invest in a tineco vacuum/mop. Cleaner living came today, and after they left, I busted out the mop. I only cleaned about 100 square feet, and the water was filthy. I sent a picture to cleaner living.... They asked for a link to the equipment. After a bit, they said they use industry standard moping techniques, and that equipment would take too long to use. Note, I spent 20 minutes to mop and use Bona over the entire area I cleaned. So they are totally ok smearing gunk all over the floor as opposed to actually cleaning them and earning the 30% increase in fees. Suffice it to say, I fired them today.

I think consumers have the right to know this, as many of them heavily rely on reviews before spending thousands of dollars.
