We dropped into this little place after a fishing trip in Biscayne Bay. I thought I remember seeing barstool do a pizza review about it and if I recollect it was pretty decent. So I figured we give it a shot to get back to the highway quick it was convenient. I was with my 20 year old son who is somewhat picky about toppings so we just opted for a large cheese pizza. We were both starving at this point in the day so we really shouldn't have been too hard to please. The pie was done rather quickly which was great we sat down at a booth and dug in. My first impression was the pie looked a little funny compared to what we are used to. We live in the Northeast and we have always been blessed to have excellent pizza on every street corner. So as I write this review I try to factor that in wondering if I'm being too harsh. But I also think pizza is one of those things that even mediocre is decent enough so I don't think I'm being a pizza snob in this situation. By the time we each reach for a second slice we were kind of looking at each other with faces Knowing that neither one of us was really enjoying this experience. Honestly I've had better pizza from the freezer section at the grocery store or in a school cafeteria. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. I'm just hoping that The barstool review I thought I saw I was mistaken. Because I don't know how anyone could rate this over a two or maybe three If this is your first time trying pizza. As far as service is concerned I had no issue but I also had no expectation in that department. After boating on a sunday my friend suggested getting sir pizza take out. I was surprised to find this place slammed with eager costumers, we had to wait a while to get our take out, but when i got home i realized it was well worth the wait. All of the employees that work here know who I am, and they are always extremely welcoming when I visit. I always get the pepperoni pizza with ranch. I'm not usually a basic pizza person lol. However, this is the only place where I order pepperoni pizza from because their itty-bitty pepperoni squares make it so that I get pepperoni with every bite. Also, I'm not sure what's in their ranch, but it's highly addictive.. it's creamy and thick and it's gotten to the point where I can't have my pizza without it. On top of everything, they make the pizzas really fast so you don't have to wait a SUPER long time unless it's extremely packed.
