    Irish Skillet.

In short. Pretty average. Tried a couple options on the menu and everything is okay. From what I have had I can't imagine anything knocking someone's socks off The Irish Skillet was okay like I said. For $10-11 the portion is seemingly okay but I would have happily paid 2-4 dollars more for a larger portion. Biscuits and gravy were fine. A little seasoning could go a long way. The pancakes. Were again okay. Very generic (not saying that's a bad thing) it's just not going to make you say "it's the best you ever had". Prices are reasonable. Location is good with okay parking. Overall it's okay. It's definitely worth trying.

A local spot serving all the basics for breakfast from pancakes and waffles to skillets, eggs and sandwiches. Clearly family run and one of a kind and eating here will fill you up without breaking the banks. There were three of us in our group when we stopped by early on a Monday morning for breakfast and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The menu covers all the breakfast classics so I decided on a pecan waffle and some bacon. Others in our group tried the skillet and some eggs. Food was decent quality, hot and arrived promptly. Pretty basic food overall. The best way to think of this place is a one-off Denny's or fancier I-hop. Good place for seniors and families.

Ugh they try and pass off corn syrup as maple syrup. Then they come by and ask of everything is ok, and when you tell them wtf is this syrup, they ignore it... then why do you ask? If the customer service was better, I would have gladly given them a better review. But since they don't care about the client experience that kills the dishes they serve.

My husband and I were visiting the Sun Prairie area and stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were seated right away, service was good, and the food was amazing! We liked it so much we even came back the next day and had the same wonderful experience. Wish we had a place like this in our home city.

Great service and the food is amazing! It's busy but they served us very fast and kept my coffee full.

Prices were very high over $50 for breakfast for 2. I think $7.00 for coffee is out of line too.

So this is just an update for the fish fry. I still love their beer and drink menu, and I really…read morelike their food menu. I will continue to frequent Full Mile and just not order the fish fry. Which brings me to the point that I really disliked the fish fry. We started with an order of cheese curds because a friend said they were her favorite in the area. Good, gooey white cheese but I actually did not love the breading. It felt like the same breading used on the fish and I thought it was greasy and without flavor. Definitely not a fan, but obviously many others are. The fish was very large, and two pieces was enough for leftovers (usually I need 3 pieces for leftovers). But again, I thought the beer batter/breading was greasy and not very flavorful. The fish fry also comes with the saddest excuse of a lemon wedge. It was so small I had to jam my finger into the flesh of the lemon just to try and get some juice to fall. So that was another blow to the fish flavor. But just because I don't like their fish fry doesn't mean I won't be back. My 4-star rating remains. I like their other food and it is definitely worth checking out for yourself to decide.

We have two young kids so this was the perfect place for us - something on the menu for everyone, casual but inviting atmosphere and friendly/attentive service. I ordered the strawberry mojito which was recommended by the wait staff and it was delicious. We shared the brussels for an app then I got the crispy wings and my husband had the hot chicken sandwich. Such good food, cannot underscore that you have to try this place!

We tried about two months ago on a Sunday and there was quite a line so we tried somewhere else new to us. It was worth the trip back here! Marigold is a really cute place inside. We were between the breakfast and lunch rushes so we easily found a table after ordering. We noticed there was a steady flow of customers and the tables turned over at a decent pace so maybe we should have stood in line last time around. Hard to know sometimes. We ordered the breakfast burrito, avocado toast and buttermilk pancakes. Service was quick and friendly. The pancakes were fluffy and they looked good. The avocado toast and the breakfast burrito were delicious! We will definitely stop by Marigold when we're in town again!

The atmosphere is fine, but for picky eaters, it's a no go. Nothing against the restaurant, their food is just a little too niche and we're unable to make common substitutes or additions. Examples include: don't have chocolate chips for pancakes, syrup is served too hot, cups were breakable. I just wish the had a kids menu section with 2 items that where super simplified and came in kid friendly utensils etc

My daughter had the pancake and sausage link which were also very good. Portions are large, prices are good, and the servers are all very personable. I don't typically allow my daughter to have a lot of sugar but when we first arrived, our server Danette gave a little cup of fruit loops to my almost 2 year old to keep her occupied until the food came out. If you're looking for some good food and decent prices, this is the place. We love a good simple diner with great food and great service.

It was off the highway, so I thought I would give it a go. Walked in and it was what you would expect from a Wisconsin diner -- old carpeting, waitresses who are lifers, and signage from the bygone era. I sat at the bar, with barstools that came about 4 feet off the ground, and asked the cordially waitress what was good. She rattled off about 3/4 of the breakfast menu so I needed a few minutes. A few minutes passed and I went with the Krab Cakes Benedict (why the K?) and the Cottage Platter. The crab cakes were decent (definitely better than the Cottage Platter), but very crisp on the outside, straddling the line of burnt, and somewhat cooked on the inside. Light on the seasoning. As they say on the cooking shows, it was screaming for some acidity...or in this case some Old Bay. Then the Cottage Platter, which I was very much looking forward to, fell flat for me. The hashbrowns had a funky taste to them, which I couldn't quite place. And again, overall, the dish was lacking in flavor. Would I go out of my way to hit this place up again? Most likely not. If I was in the area and wanted to try something else, I probably would.
