So so yummy! If you're not sure what to get, ask the aunty at the counter for her recommendations. She always tells me something new to try, and I have been so happy with her selections. Also, you will need a naan, so don't forget to order that along with your entree option. Lastly, the mango lassi is so thick and delicious.

The food here is a 10/10, so happy i stopped by today to try authentic indian food for the first time. It was recommended by a friend and I am soooo glad i listened to her. The owners are super sweet and was genuinely interested if I enjoyed their food. It came out really fast! The atmosphere was chill vibes they had some incense lit which i really enjoyed and you could tell it was family run. I enjoy supporting small businesses and will be going back for sure! I will say there was plenty of seating and they have high reviews for a reason. Dont let the outside stop you from going in, give it a chance!!

Another restaurant that has been on our list that we just finally got around to. We regret it took us so long. We ended up going around 3 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon. It was an off time between lunch and dinner but we just finished up an event and thought now is a better time than any. There is very little parking in the front. I think a big part of their business is take out. We walked inside and there were a lot more tables than we were expecting. There was about 6 or 7 tables. We said we were going to dine in and the lady at the counter explained that it is more of self serve approach to dining in; the food would come out in to-go containers and we would have to get our out disposable cutlery at the counter, which was completely fine for us. They have a refrigerated case with sodas (US and Indian varieties) along with some desserts. We were given some menus and went to our table to peruse. Since we were the only ones in there, she came to the table to take our order. We went with Tandoori chicken and butter naan. We thought it would come with rice but it didn't so we quickly placed an order when the food came out without rice. Typically we don't like chicken on the bone, but it was so tender and flavorful and it just literally fell off the bone. It came with a mint sauce that was so good. We wish we asked for more. The one order of butter naan was plenty for us. The rice was so fragrant. The meal was plenty to split between the two of us. The man and woman at the restaurant were so pleasant and thankful for our business. There was a lot of traffic of to-go orders being picked up while we were there. Another family came in to dine in and you could hear them praising the food as well. You could tell the owners put a lot of pride into the food and quality of their recipes. Really fortunate to have this place close by. We will be back soon to try some other of their dishes.

Chilli Garlic Naan, mix veg fritters and lamb vindaloo.

Such an amazing experience. I got lamb vindaloo, mix vegetable pakora (that might be spelled wrong) and garlic chilli rotti. The owners were amazingly nice and patient to explain the menu to me, seems really authentic. The Rinta was so kind and amazing. (Sorry if I spelled your name wrong!!!) 10/10 will come back and recommend to everyone that asks. Saving this into my google maps so I'll never forget.

We ordered dinner from there during a weekend in November, 2023. The restaurant is not located in the most attractive place, but looks can be deceiving. The inside was very clean and the staff were very pleasant. We ordered chicken biriyani, palak chana, chili paneer, and some breads and each dish was plentiful and very tasty. Most importantly, our daughters, who do not like Indian food much, liked the food. Would get food from there again very soon.

Chicken 65 (different than other versions I've had, ok)

Their paratha selection is impressive, with plenty of options and even the ability to customize flavors and fillings to your liking. If you're craving authentic Bombay-style Indian food, this place is a must-visit. And let me say this clearly -- if you don't try the vada pav here, you're seriously missing out! With such a diverse paratha menu, it's also an ideal brunch spot. Add to that a massive selection of appetizers, a BYOB policy, and a great vibe for hanging out with friends, and you've got the perfect place to unwind. Located off Nottingham Way in Hamilton, Bombay Feast is a a fast casual type of Indian street food…read moreeatery. I've been there twice and can't in good conscience call it a restaurant as service (1.5/5) is the bare minimum, where you have to get up to get your own water, and aren't once asked if you want beverages or desserts. Nobody checks in on you to ask how the food is or if you want anything else, yet they still mandate a 12% service charge after some mystery 3% fee they impose on everything on the menu except their parathas (prior to calculating the tax and service fee). A scrupulous business adds any fees on the subtotal of the menu price, but here you wind up paying extra tax and service charge on the additional 3% which is tacked onto the menu price, which I assume is a credit card fee. Doing the math, they're collecting an extra 3% in both tax and service charge as well, so customer beware. You aren't given a check at the end of your meal, so you have to walk up to the front podium to pay on a tablet (not a fan of this practice), where you're given a few awkward seconds to stare at your bill, and unsuspecting customers won't have time to analyze the charges, and will likely wind up paying both the service charge and additional gratuity for the very minimal service provided. We've ordered various parathas (3.5/5), the chole bhature (4/5), butter chicken (2.5/5), pav bhaji dosa (3.5/5), and naan (3/5) over 2 visits. The parathas and pav bhaji dosa were excellent on one visit, but unreasonably spicy on the next visit, so they need to work on consistency of their spice levels. The chole bhature was good, and served with a massively sized bhature, which was greatly appreciated and more than enough for the chole provided. I would stay away from the usual North Indian food menu items as they're overpriced (above $20) and not that good compared to other Hamilton area Indian restaurants. The gravy for the butter chicken was underwhelming average, and not something I'd order again. Their wheelhouse for tasty food seems to be the parathas, dosas, and snack food/quick eats types of items. While the cook in the kitchen is decent, the lack of service and mystery charges really detracts from the overall experience, so I won't be back and would not recommend Bombay Feast to others. They really need to hire an additional person with customer service skills to attend to guests to ask if they want water/drinks, desserts, additional food items, and check in to ask how everything was. We had to proactively wipe down our dirty table, ask for additional utensils, and get our own water. On my 2nd visit, they took it upon themselves to add an additional gratuity on top of the service charge, which really rubbed us the wrong way as we analyzed their payment screen on their tablet and asked for a printed receipt; we noticed it a few days later when checking the credit card charge. They seemed genuinely apologetic about it and refunded us the extra amount via Venmo when we called them up to question it, but that really left a bad impression on us. I'd add this to my growing list of highly overrated Indian eateries popping up in NJ with a somewhat decent kitchen, but major disregard for proper customer service.

No complaints. I'm not a Vegan but one of my most favorite type of vegetarian cuisine is Indian. Love me some lentils, chick peas and carrots. Here is what we ordered: - Authentic Thaali - Classic Masala Dosa - Utthapam Get the mango lassi. Omg, it was so darn sipping yummy. I was about to grab another bottle until I read the nutritional label that said it has 34 grams of sugar. How can this probiotic drink have that much sugar? Still, this drink was perfect to cut through some of the spiciness. Service at each station and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of seating available as well as upstairs. We sat by the pretty tree that was in the center. Prices were surprisingly reasonable.

We discovered Mrs Kumar before it expanded and love the food. We visited Thumkaa which had its own vibes and while driving along 33E we kept passing Chozhas and decided we would visit on Valentine's day for Dinner. Clearly this restaurant does a booming business with its buffet and no difference on Valentines where an a la Carte menu was offered but there was such a crowd earlier that food and staff were exhausted. Fortunately we had Deepthi who despite being on her feet for hours made sure we were aware that the palak chat which was supposed to be out came back on the menu . Also giving us great advice on the quantity of food to order. She was excellent. Now to the food which was "good"...but not anything special. The appetizes Palak Chat and Lasuni Jhinga Shrimp were better than the main course of dal fry, goat rogan ghosh (nice having bones but not much meat). Rice came with garlic naan and the rice keer was served too hot as they ran out for lunch and had to make fresh. Now the decorations were really nicely laid out for Valentines and made it feel special. As we were leaving it was crowded. Clearly this place has a following and we were told the weekend buffet is what everyone comes for. We will try the buffet one weekend to see how the food is and hope that it really is exceptional and better than the a la carte.
