Pretty trashy bar. Drinks are cheap but the atmosphere is borderline dangerous. I would go anywhere else.

Char on the outside and red in the middle. Perfect and delicious. The pulled pork sliders were delicious and the coleslaw on the was great. The beef rib quesadillas were excellent. The sweet potato tots were good but I prefer the fries. The service was excellent. They were crowded but the hostess sat us quickly and the waitress was excellent always available when needed. She even anticipated our needs. I'm going back for sure. We had a table outside and it was perfect.

The mission is great and the staff is wonderful, but the food is pretty hit or miss…read more Restoration is a cute little house set up right near the Lindenhurst LIRR. Depending on your timing, you can park in the available lot on site or even in the LIRR station across the street. On a saturday night, me and my friends ended up waiting 30 mins for a table which wasn't terrible! To start, we ordered the Capri Sun, a seasonal Mango 2 Tango cocktail and a spinach artichoke dip to start. The Capri Sun was phenomenal . A perfect blend of Pacific Cooler and vodka served in a cute lil pouch. The Mango 2 Tango had a good jalapeno kick and the spinach artichoke dip was torn into with an extra serving of tortilla chips. Once we got our main courses though, that's when things started to go downhill. I ordered the hot honey fried chicken sandwich and was underwhelmed. I was expecting a craggy hunk of chicken but, it was just a chicken cutlet surrounded by ciabatta. No hot honey taste, and I had to utilize the ketchup to give it some moistness. The seasoned fries were good though. Around our table, everyone was kind of whelmed with their entrees as well. Even the desserts, deconstructed brownies, were a let down as well. Dry brownies with too much plain peanut butter to make it palatable. Overall, I appreciate the mission. And maybe for drinks alone, this place is excellent. But maybe, pass on the food.

My fiancé and I came here for lunch after our original choice was closed for a private event…read more We were the only ones there and it did take some time for our appetizer to come out. We had fried cheese which was described as "Crispy, Halloumi-Style Queso Freir, Topped with Tomato, Jalapeños, & Hot Agave." It was good, but not "blow me away" good. It came with 4 pieces, so not really enough to share with a large group. For my tacos I had the crispy pumpkin, sesame chicken and spicy pork. Out of the 3, the crispy pumpkin was my favorite. The sesame chicken and spicy pork were "basic" speciality tacos and nothing about them really set them apart from other establishments offering the same. The crispy pumpkin though...so unique and had great flavor. My fiancé had Ruby's signature bowl and added chorizo. He enjoyed it and it was a very generous portion. Service was decent.

I don't say this too often, but Ruby Soho's is perfection!…read more From the staff being awesome, Chris and Caitlin ((hope that's the way she spells it)) were beyond nice and professional. Always checking to see if our glasses needed to be filled or just seeing if we were still vibing. The music played is my type of tunes. Punk, Rock, and Emo... How could you go wrong?? Also the deco is raw, edgy and yet still welcoming. Surly a place you could chill for hours. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, and specialty drinks. And the food.. The food is of 5star quality. The shredded beef taco was seriously one of the best tacos I have ever had the pleasure of eating and the fried pickled jalapeños were surprisingly amazing. Far beyond what I expected... If you're in the area, I 100% say stop on in! You won't be disappointed!!
