Pretty trashy bar. Drinks are cheap but the atmosphere is borderline dangerous. I would go anywhere else.

Belfast is a charming Lindenhurst local pub/restaurant serving up a tasty selection of new age and…read moretraditional Irish American foodie favorites. The service has always been top notch whether your sitting barside or at one of their tables inside the restaurant or heated/open patio side. They offer an array of traditional mainstream domestic beers, local brewery beer, as well as a few of your Irish classic brands. Whether you opt for a tasty liquor cocktail or a draft/bottled beer you won't be disappointed. On the food side of things they offer classic pub style appetizers, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers and an assortment of larger entrées. Fan favorites apps are their calamari, onion rings and flatbreads. On the Main entrée side you can always opt for a traditional Cornbeef, Pastrami Rebun, Short Rib platter or one of their customized sandwich melts. Can't say much about dessert since the meals are more than enough for me, but I'm sure they are just as delectable. This local restaurant is a hometown favorite for many for a reason, they are good at satisfying just about any craving. Jump in and explore the menu!

When we arrived ahead of our reservation the restaurant had a few tables filled and the entire bar was full. We opted to sit on the heated patio which was very warm and nice. There also was live music and it was lovely. Our waitress was amazing from start to finish. I ordered the Irish Old Fashioned to start and my husband got the cider on draft. I ended up not liking my drink and she was so accommodating swapping my drink for one she recommended that I thoroughly enjoyed. We got the shepherd's pie fries to start and I have been dreaming of them since. First off the fries are some of the best I've ever had. They're clearly homemade and were just perfect and the pie filling on top took it to the next level. For entrees my husband got the fish and chips. The fish was fresh and crispy and paired perfectly with the amazing curry sauce. He was obsessed. I got the burger with corned beef on top and onion rings and paired it with their ketchup aioli and I loved it. Portions were large and fairly priced in my opinion for quality and quantity. For dessert we tried their new milk and cookies cake and it was very enjoyable. Not too sweet and perfectly moist. I can't say enough great things about this place and look forward to our next visit with the whole family since there really is something for everyone on the menu.

My fiancé and I came here for lunch after our original choice was closed for a private event…read more We were the only ones there and it did take some time for our appetizer to come out. We had fried cheese which was described as "Crispy, Halloumi-Style Queso Freir, Topped with Tomato, Jalapeños, & Hot Agave." It was good, but not "blow me away" good. It came with 4 pieces, so not really enough to share with a large group. For my tacos I had the crispy pumpkin, sesame chicken and spicy pork. Out of the 3, the crispy pumpkin was my favorite. The sesame chicken and spicy pork were "basic" speciality tacos and nothing about them really set them apart from other establishments offering the same. The crispy pumpkin though...so unique and had great flavor. My fiancé had Ruby's signature bowl and added chorizo. He enjoyed it and it was a very generous portion. Service was decent.

Always checking to see if our glasses needed to be filled or just seeing if we were still vibing. The music played is my type of tunes. Punk, Rock, and Emo... How could you go wrong?? Also the deco is raw, edgy and yet still welcoming. Surly a place you could chill for hours. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, and specialty drinks. And the food.. The food is of 5star quality. The shredded beef taco was seriously one of the best tacos I have ever had the pleasure of eating and the fried pickled jalapeños were surprisingly amazing. Far beyond what I expected... If you're in the area, I 100% say stop on in! You won't be disappointed!!
