Went in for service without an appointment. Very friendly and accommodating staff and waiting area. Was in and out quick with results and helpful info. read more

My first time here. So sad my other guy is gone. Friendly service here. Nice people. Accurate assessment of my vehicle. Great place to hang out while waiting although I feel it could use more organization and some cleaning. I like that they have waters and sodas and coffee/tea drinks for customers. There are also some snacks and ice cream. Even though they were busy I didn't have to wait long. Everything gets sent to DMV and you get your stickers in the mail. read more

The owner was way too chatty and it made me uncomfortable. He wouldn't leave me alone. The waiting area is nice and stocked with snacks, drinks, nice chairs and a big tv, but the music he was playing was so loud it hurt my ears - and I'm partially deaf! He kept "rocking out" to the songs. It was weird. Maga merch all over as well - wish I'd seen that before pulling in and handing over my keys - I don't support maga owned businesses. read more

Simply Smog was such a pleasant experience I wish all smog places could aspire to be as good as Simply Smog. Owner and employees were friendly. Waiting area had snacks sodas and the World Cup game on. They saw my car quickly, had advice for when it didn't pass and how to get it to pass, and we will be back tomorrow. For the price I thought it was very fair. I'll be a repeat customer for sure! read more

Simply Smog is simply the best! I've never been so inspired to write a five star review for a smog check. Dave is super friendly and such an outstanding host! Drinks, fruit and yes, Hagen Daz ice cream bars! lol the service was professional and thorough and I was done is a short time! I will definitely return! read more

Very friendly, efficient, offers sodas, water snacks while waiting. Work with older vehicles. I have a 75 Ranger, they had the equipment to do the smog test. Value was good. Grateful they were able to do the smog test. read more

Great guy, wonderful fast service. Straightforward about the price and what they offer. Great conversation while I waited. Highly recommended! Definitely will come again. They even have some drinks and games and a comfortable couch. read more

This place has such a FANTASTIC atmosphere! Oh my god, I was welcomed into what seemed like someone's living room while waiting for my car to be checked. TV playing with music and extremely positive and bubbly staff, there's refreshments they provide and tea/coffee, food etc.! Highly recommended, turns a tedious task one has to do into a great experience! read more

My 1995 BMW first went through a test and failed. Once my mechanic installed a new catalytic converter, I took advantage of the free retest about a month later at Simply Smog and promptly had my pass results transmitted to the DMV. Nice waiting area, too! I believe since the cost covers free testing needs, it may appear high against competitors -- but they are not offering free retests. read more

Very polite and energetic gentleman. If you dont pass the smog you can come back for a retest free. I was fully expecting angry workers in this heat today. Clean fresh seating area with drinks while you wait. read more

They tried to charge me 200.00 for a smog, they said "it's a Mercedes so it may need to go on the Dyno machine". I went down the street at they charged me 85.00. read more

If I have to get my car smogged, I might as well go somewhere that has free entertainment and refreshments. This place is gold. The owner is super nice and loves to recommend places around the valley to visit. I've been taking my cars here for years and it's the absolute best. read more

I'm a very busy person and this place gets me in and out in a flash ! Star certified is a plus . It's my go to place when I need the pesky smog check . read more

Amazing service!! Dave is one of a kind. The best costumer service you can have. Make me and wife feel comfortable while getting your smog check done. You can't beat the prices, but even if it was more expensive I will still come to Dave. read more

Sad to say that after years of coming here we will not be returning. This man called me Doll while sporting a trump hat. Gross. We have 4 cars that need smogs, I am happy to take my business elsewhere, I am sure he will be fine. read more

I would not recommend this smog check business. The prices were significantly higher than other places nearby--definitely felt like I overpaid. On top of that, the wait time was excessive. While I understand people have different political views, the owner's outspoken display of controversial political memorabilia made the environment uncomfortable and unprofessional for me. I go to a business for service, not a political statement. There are plenty of other smog check stations with better pricing, faster service, and a more neutral atmosphere. I'll be going elsewhere next time. read more

Yes! Excellent for smog check honest good people. Excellent service honestly I think it's awful that people are reviewing on behalf of their political views. This is a free country last time I checked and we should agree to disagree. Other than that they have good service good business. I've been going here for years and reasonably priced honest people. read more

This place has the worst customer service. They blast the music so loud while you wait. The cost is also very high compared to other business near by. They charge $90 vs. $50-60 at other places. Do your research and don't come here. read more

Most entertaining smog check establishment you will ever find. Very friendly owner. Has a sitting area with big screen tv playing 80's videos . Everything from British Invasion Rock to New Wave bands. The owner even gave those of us waiting in the area a verbal tour of the Automotive Museum in San Fernando. Don't know if they offer coupons for smog checks ( I couldn't find one). read more

This is where I go every time I need a smog check. I go early to beat the crowds and am either the first one there or almost. Their prices are a little higher to other places in the area but I like the convenience of a 'drive thru' smog check. Also, if your car fails the smog check, you get free re-tests for 3 months. They are always friendly and have helpful info for submitting DMV forms & payments. Nice perk is that they offer snacks and beverages while you wait. read more

Absolutely amazing! I randomly saw it and needed a smog check so I stopped by. 1. They're soooo helpful, made me feel comfortable. And they have snacks, juices, coffee etc. Felt like I stopped by a family's house for car help. Highly recommend ! read more

Wow! Amazing service here! The two guys in there are friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions and concerns. Took my car in and quickly started the process. Older white man was nice and offered many options on refreshments and even ice cream! So happy I found this locally on yelp. Definitely coming back here again. The facility is also low-car friendly so highly recommended for car enthusiasts with that concern. Thank you guys! read more

4 years ago this company charged my daughter $148.25 for a smog test plus certificate for a 26 year old Ford Explorer with 120,000 miles, and was in good shape. It passed the test the first time. Won't be going back it's pricey. Plus, the guy behind the desk is bipolar. one minute is dancing around the next minute He's an angry man! After my car passed, I noticed my rosary on my rear view mirror was yanked off and now I find somebody must have done something to the smog system. I'm getting an error message on my car. Who do you think I should blame it on all because he saw a Biden button in my car! Don't trust those people! Remove any political stickers or pins that they might get them angry. I just wish Nick was there I wouldn't have to deal with those other ol' guys... read more

Really loud '80's rock music in the customer lounge areas. It was 90 outside, there's no option to sit anywhere else that's cool and habitable. Guy at the counter was friendly, wearing a MAGA hat and a Bobble head doll of Trump on the counter. I should've left right then. I assume the smog check was fine, but I've never paid $98 for a smog check before. Usually around $50. I won't be going back. read more

Smogging your car is stressful every two years you have that fear this is the year it doesn't pass, and most smog places are not a fun experience, Simply Smog was a fun experience. Yes address the elephant in the room it is priced higher than usual and it was stated up front what the price would be but my take away from this was that this business is honest community orientated which is rare these days I think that is worth giving business to. How many other auto related business have you been to with a nice waiting area free snacks and drinks and ice cream, and even a blood pressure tester. Also there is a community bulletin board on one of the monitors about other business. I have no issue paying a little more to a business that cares about the customer and the community. read more

Customer service is top notch at this place!! I was first just going to come in and ask how much they charge but the guy behind the counter that's in charge of Place was really cool and he was telling me that they offer all kinds of free snacks and drinks and sodas and ice creams and comfortable chairs... I was sold! I was like take money! Lol read more

Service was quick and friendly. Felt they were honest. Cool atmosphere. Have to bring another car in soon and will definitely bring it here.

If you're a Trumper this place is for you! There was a Trump doll on the counter. The owner/manager was wearing a Trump cap. The TV was so loud I had to go outside (on FOX of course). It was obvious to me that he was looking for a reaction from me. He himself was very loud and obnoxious commenting and laughing about FOX and their entertainment show. I should have known to leave sooner when he incorrectly pronounced the make of my vehicle. I corrected him and he still pronounced it incorrectly again as if to get a reaction from me. I didn't engage with him at all the entire time. I wanted out of there as soon as possible. I will say it was very quick maybe 15 minutes. The cost was $99. not sure if that's good or not. It would have been nice to enjoy the waiting area but it was too loud and he would walk back and forth from the counter to the waiting area to laugh and comment loudly about what was going on. It's not necessary to flaunt your political affiliation at a business . He clearly doesn't care by his own responses to the other reviews. read more

I took my Mom's '89 Pontiac to Simply Smog. The owner, Dave was very friendly. When he saw my vintage Iron Maiden shirt he put youtube on the large screen tv to show me a video by one of his favorite bands. He came over frequently while I was waiting to chat with me. There are many choices for free drinks and snacks including chips, apples, nut bars, tea, coffee and soft drinks. There is also a table of free items such reading glasses, mini flashlights and more.
