Side note- The parking lot is shared with a few other businesses and is fairly small and pretty tight making the corners. Went last minute without an appointment and got in right away 30 min to closing. They honored my Valpak coupon price and got me out of there within 15 min. There's a waiting room on the side where they test your car or you can sit on the bench if it's full inside. They usually have their STAR certified rating but still waiting on it for this year. The guy asks for the DMV paperwork, the keys to the vehicle. He suggests that you could sit inside the small 4 - 5 chair office or on the bench against the wall. He's done within 15 minutes. The pricing here throughout the years has always been consistently fair, the customer service is top-notch, tools equipment and professionalism are quality and they really set the bar high with their classy standards. I highly recommend the folks over at Winnetka Smog and Brake. The process was relatively quick (about ten minutes). They also have a waiting area. Prices: very competitive. It seems like other places charge more for the same service that Winnetka Smog offers. Parking: there are at least two dedicated spots in the U shaped parking lot. I recommend traveling north on Winnetka Ave., then entering the first driveway, which brings you round about to their unit. They are the northern most unit, closest to the street. People: automobile owners. Perks: Eddie was very personable and a professional. I had an excellent customer service experience. Winnetka Smog is located in auto plaza with various other facilities. The auto plaza is across the street from Churches Chicken, so you can swing by after and get your fried chicken on. There's also a post office, a little north of the location. read more
