As a woman, I sometimes feel nervous about being overcharged or taken advantage of at car-related places, but this felt like a trustworthy and safe environment. I had googled a couple shops nearby to see which one would be the best price and even though there was a fee to pay by credit card this was still the best option. If you look up smog coupons, you can also use it here. I believe I paid $55 with the credit card fee included but the gentleman working here was really sweet when I spoke to him on the phone which is why I ended up coming here. This smog check location is right behind a Shell gas station and I might have been lucky because there was nobody there and I was able to drive right up for service. It took no more than 10 minutes and explained the entire process to me. He was even sweet enough to check why my gear icon was on, and I thought that was such a nice gesture that he didn't even need to do, which is why I felt compelled to write a really good review for this location! Instead of trying to help me find a solution, they immediately blamed the issue on my vehicle and refused to take any responsibility. The customer service was frustrating and unprofessional. I expected a tire shop to stand behind the products and services they sell, especially when a problem happens shortly after the purchase. I gave them an opportunity to make things right, but unfortunately the issue was never properly resolved. I ended up losing my money and being left with the problem. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Hank's Tire. Be very careful and make sure you get the warranty and all promises in writing before purchasing anything here.
