Tony! Toni! Toné! I've been patronizing this smog place for six years now and this place is wonderful, quick, easy and efficient. But today I gave them a call and they quoted me $75 for the smog. Upon arriving I filled out the service sheet and signed it, the total said $75. After the smog test, Tony says he needs to charge me an extra $10 to make it $85. Tony says that he changed my RPM to lower it. But He never asked me to do this and while I was sitting there he never took off the carburetor. Hmm why would Tony up charge me and then never ask me to do this service and then not even taking the carb off??? I reluctantly agreed and was charged the extra ten dollars. I wish he was upfront and honesty with me instead of this. Not sure how I feel about this and came to Yelp to tell others to watch for the up charge and not be so easy going with these tactics. I still love you Tony but I feel hustled. read more

He consistently gives me honest feedback about the smog check process. I've been to this location before with good results, so I called and was treated well, given a fair price, and my dog was welcomed. The owner is very nice too. This is by far the BEST place to get your Smog Test done!! It's so quick; regardless of COVID. He always wears a mask. But the best part about this place is truly the owner; he's so nice and makes you feel very comfortable while you're there. Tony is amazing!! I took my car here to get smogged upon recommendation from my dad and Tony was so helpful and nice, one of my monitors was reading incomplete and he had a handful of suggestions and tips for me to do and then we went ahead and went through with it and it passed!!! I was so grateful to him, its easy for companies to take advantage and easily scam for money, but not Tony! He honestly wants to help, and has a great attitude and customer service! Thank you again! Randomly found this place and glad I did! I didn't get the smog check person's name but he was friendly. There were many chairs, but he told us to sit on the chairs closest to the wall because that was where we would feel the ac the most. He took around 10 mins and the smog was $43. He gave me and my fiancé each a pen. So sweet. Would definitely come back again for my smog check needs. read more

I have to admit I only came here because the smog test place I was originally planning on going to wasn't open yet (at the 76 gas station down the street; says it opens at 8am- I left at about 8:15am when no one showed up). Anyway, I got to Expert Smog and within probably 20-25 minutes I was out. There was even someone before me that I waited for to get finished. It was super quick and only $40. read more

I took my truck here to be tested. Tony started work immediately and finished quickly. I actually witnessed Tony refusing to take someone's money for the test as he knew the vehicle would not pass the test. He told the gentleman why it would not pass smog. Talk about an honest guy! My car couldn't pass the smog test because I needed to recalibrate the monitors after replacing my car's Oxygen Sensor. The dealer was not helpful telling me only to drive around 300 miles before taking the test. I took it to Expert Smog twice and the Drive Cycle was still not complete. Tony was sympathetic and took the time to suggest other ways to speed up the process. It is so refreshing to find a business that seems to care about the client. Tony is the best! read more

This smog check location is right behind a Shell gas station and I might have been lucky because there was nobody there and I was able to drive right up for service. It took no more than 10 minutes and explained the entire process to me. He was even sweet enough to check why my gear icon was on, and I thought that was such a nice gesture that he didn't even need to do, which is why I felt compelled to write a really good review for this location! The recent smog test was done on Apr.,2018. My Honda Accord 2007 Engine light was on at the time. He checked, gave me the recommended repair paper and advised me to go see my mechanic. He didn't charge at all for the initial review. Somehow the light was disappeared the next day and I went back to Tony. He Checked again and passed the Smog Test. He was very friendly and honest.
