Meritage Homes hired them for free drinking water install so I thought why not. $1500 for a filter and $5,500 for both a filter and softener. The filter alone was insufficient as I was still breaking out in hives. I asked to speak with someone to work something out since $5,500 is an arm and a leg and I haven't heard from anyone though I've been reaching out since November 29th. Someone by the name of Ev said he was trying to call me back last night but it wasn't going through. I called back last night and today 5 times and my call is being "forwarded" to voicemail. I need help from the Yelp community on how I can get this filter uninstalled so that I can work with a different company. I don't want to have to take Zyrtec in order to avoid hives after taking a shower. It's been a true nightmare working with Dupure. Their $3000~$4000 water softener system requires maintenance every year or so. They charge you…read more$200~400 for anybody to come out for maintenance. They came early last year to do maintenance for $300 and it worked for 30 days and stopped working for over a year. It is impossible for owner to verify if the system work or not until you check salt level drop. They just came and charged $390 and it still does not work properly. You can just buy brand new water softener system from Home Depot for $550.
