We had had a sub system but my husband was tired of hauling bags of salt, and it didn't take the chlorine out of the water which I found out with something important to me because I have to MTHFR genetic defects which keep my body from detoxing and I'm not supposed to swim in chlorine or take baths in chlorine, and this does remove it. I had a couple times over the years where I was getting hard water stains by the kitchen sink and in the toilet. They came out and even though it was 6 months early because they have you replaced the filters once a year they went ahead and replaced all my filters 6 months early and did not charge me for them. I really love that my ice cubes don't have chlorine in them and they're nice and clear! I want everybody to know you can always tell a good company because of the good people they hire. One time a big boss,:Yeshua, was in Houston from California, and instead of just sending any technician he came out and fixed the problem! We have a water dispenser by our sink and the new, lever was backwards to what I was used to, and I called and he came and just turned it around - it wasn't beneath him at all to come and do that for us. Yeshua, Dion, Austin, Tina, and recently, Oscar! Oscar saw that we had a trash can full of old filters that they had just been putting in there for years, thinking that my husband would put out to the trash on trash day, ​but my husband didn't realize they were there because it wasn't our normal trash can and we hadn't used it to pick up leaves and things for a while because we've gotten older. A hole was required to be drilled into the granite above my sink to fit the RO faucet and after the install, the faucet looked it came with the place! The install underneath the sink and the cabinet next to fridge was done very cleanly which maximized the amount of the cabinet I am able to use. The installers were cordial and went as far as to perform the water drain needed through the filter for me so I didn't have to sit there with glasses and constantly dump them in the sink. All around, it was a very good experience.
