Their $3000~$4000 water softener system requires maintenance every year or so. They charge you $200~400 for anybody to come out for maintenance. They came early last year to do maintenance for $300 and it worked for 30 days and stopped working for over a year. It is impossible for owner to verify if the system work or not until you check salt level drop. They just came and charged $390 and it still does not work properly. You can just buy brand new water softener system from Home Depot for $550. read more

This company's services are not worth the prices they charge. We've been waiting to get our filters changed for over a month now and they've rescheduled last-minute twice, claiming they don't have the filters in stock. When we've called in the past for other matters like getting our system moved from one location to another, one person scheduled for a specific time and day and when we called back and talked to a different receptionist, she couldn't see it in the system and had to schedule from scratch for another day. We have constantly had issues with this company post-installation, and would recommend going with another system to avoid working with this company. I also bought the system after already having a softener in place, the salesperson convinced us our water was still hard and we decided to purchase, our water now doesn't feel soft when showering as well as our old system, we call many times they did send someone out who adjusted or tweaked it one guy said but never any soft water still, called them again under warranty they said they would have to start charging now if they came out anymore, so we are stuck paying thousands for a system that is no better then our old one, we feel we were lied to by salesperson , and regret ever purchasing, and if possible would like to give it back ! read more

Very poor service. System did not appear to ever work properly. Was forced to pay for them to come out twice to "service" the unit. Each time I was told it was working well, yet when we checked we still had hard water. The unit has never used any salt in the whole time it is in place. I talked to the owner, Gerald, about this and asked him if the unit should use salt and he said he didn't know. Not the answer of someone who knows the system! They don't appear to know the products and they don't appear to back up their work. read more

I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews here, we had a really great experience all the way through. I think the only negative is that sometimes when you call the office you have to leave a voicemail, but they do call back. We evaluated a few companies before purchasing, and ended up selecting Infinity based on the responsiveness and price. We negotiated a little bit and were able to get 5% off the original quote. They did a really nice job with the setup and install - the pipes were nicely insulated when they finished, it looked good, and was done in a way that makes servicing rather easy for us. They had a little hiccup with water spraying all over the installation area, but they took care to clean it up and communicated with their boss about it before they left -- it was nice to see them owning up to a genuine mistake and making sure it was left right. Overall I do recommend. I haven't had a service call yet, but I could see why it doesn't feel good to pay nearly ~$200 for a service call. Hopefully that doesn't happen, Kinetico is an outstanding brand so fingers crossed! read more

Jared is excellent. From start to finish. He made an appointment to come back and talk over his water system and showed up on time. (The other two water system companies we were considering didn't show up) He took us out to his van and walked through the process with us. The best part of the system (in my opinion) is if the electricity goes out, we'll still have water. Because the system runs without electricity, unlike ALL the others. The other thing that was key in our decision making process is with our new build, hard water is- it would make the warranties on our appliances (tankless water heater) null and void. This is not a very reliable company. They are the ones that installed our reverse osmosis system so they are who we went with for our filter replacement. After a scheduling mess up on their part, they gave me an appointment with someone who would be in my area for 2 weeks out. That day came and we waited in our 3 hour window (3-6) -near the end of it I get a Call saying our person was still an hour plus away in Montgomery (not in our area). He was still willing to come to the house near 7 pm but that is way too late to have service strangers in the house. I get a call the next day to reschedule because I cancelled the appointment (wtf??) and they weren't able to get me on the schedule again in a timely manner. The receptionist was rude and I asked for the manager or supervisor to call me to talk about how they do their business. It's three days later and everyday I've called they've just left a message on his desk that he hopefully sees and that's all they can do. Wild way to run a business. People are better off just buying the filters and replacing them themselves instead of giving unreliable businesses your money. If the supervisor had gotten back to me and let me know they don't usually send workers out to peoples homes at 7 pm and got me another appointment in a timely matter this review would be completely different. None of the times I've spoken with their schedulers have been great -they're rude, don't listen to issues, and don't think notifying higher ups of these issues in ways other than handwritten messages in a desk. read more

I would give zero star if possible. This is the least trustworthy company exists in this area and the most unreliable one too. Not too far to call their warranty a scam. I have been offered 10 year warranty on water softener, but they conveniently forgot about that when a repair came up. Several conversations after, they confirmed my systems is under warranty and send a technician to repair. He didn't have the parts , so they had to reschedule. I called them to reschedule ( which by the way, they should do it since it is an incomplete job). Again, same warranty issue re-surfaces. Several heated discussions after, they confirm again that the system is under warranty and schedules an appointment. The technician came, fixed it. Only to see that the unit continue to regenerate , and never stops. I called them again, they sent another technician. He found that the first technician missed a part and didn't install it ( No surprise) !. he also found the resin is also shot which the first technician never found. As you may guess, he didn't have the parts so he had to reschedule. But the office told him again system is not in warranty. Here you go again ! I asked the technician to stay there and call up the chain of command to clarify to fix this non sense. 45 mins later, and several people discussing, the technician confirms "yes, your system is under warranty sir, my office will schedule the job for next week" As usual, it never happened. After almost 4 weeks, i called the office and they confirmed the parts have arrived and they are scheduling the job for next week. A few minutes later, I get a call back and guess what " there will be a charge of 1700$ to replace the resin since your system is out of warranty! This company is unbelievable, they scheduled two warranty repairs in a month time frame, did a lame job, and now instead of finishing the job, they are playing games. There is no way this is an administrative error. Avoid at all costs Edit: Again, I got a call from infinity systems that it is an administrative error on their side since the previous office staff did not update my file with the feedback from the owner confirming the warranty. Now I am back on schedule for the warranty repair. I will wait for the work to be done, and update this review accordingly. Edit: The company publicly confirmed the warranty, but the owner stated he don't care and he wont honor the warranty due to this review. At thi point I don't care either. I will it throw out this carp and find a better solution from a reasonable vendor. Dishonest companies should be called out nevertheless! read more

Where to start: Eddy shows up to the house in a beautiful van with different types of systems Infinity can install for the house and i ended up going with one of the priciest one as per Eddy's recommendation. Eddie's USP is the toilet water will stain and your water pipes go bad all the sales tricks. Once it is installed, you would never hear from back them, The only thing i am seeing in my house are stained water and stained toilets. Than you call jerry (Owner) or Eddie ( GM) than they would ask you to call the office and than you get an answer for them to come and see what is the problem they need $179, they would come and tell you that you need a filter so that sediments does not come in to the houses and need another grand to put that, why was this not recommended or done during the initial sale. I got Infinity reference from a neighbor and went with them, one of the worst decisions i made is to go with Infinity. What i heard is they give a free water filter for referral and that why i believe they made me a scape goat. If you have a Costco membership, just purchase from them you don't need the hassle of dealing with a company like infinity where sub standard system and wort service for almost 4 grand. read more

We purchased the system from them a year ago. The system runs ok. But the price they charge for items is ridiculous. We have a 10 inch mach 20 house filter that sits before the water softener that came with it . Well, first they charge you $40 for each of these spun filters and $80 for the pleated ones. If you go with the Pentair Pentek big blue you get a 10 inch x 4 inch filter. These cost between $10-15 per filter. Then if you measure the Kinetico 10 inch filter they are actually 7 inches x 3 inch with a 3 inch connector at the top. I also got replacement RO filters from them. So, I bought the recommended system sanitizer for it from them. They charged me $45. What they sent was : Sani-system liquid sanitizer concentrate 0.5 oz packet for sanitizing : water softeners, RO Units - water coolers packet. So, I looked it up 2 packets retail for $9 dollars. I called and asked about it and Gerald did not have an answer. If I could give them a zero I would. They are crooks and if they install your system they are the only ones with the parts to replace it. So they charge you $178 per service call only to have the issue go out another 2 months or so later, so they can charge you another $178. I called another company to come out and look at the issue, and I also showed them my receipt from Infinity/Kinetico and they verified that Infinity DID NOT do the work that they claimed they did and charged me for. I have called them out at least 3 times for the same issue. My advice, if you start having system problems just replace it through another company altogether. You'll spend more on their overpriced service calls with these jackasses than the cost to just get a new system. read more

I am very pleased with the whole experience with Infinity Water. My home builder used Infinity to install the sink drinking water dispenser. I later called to install the Reversal Osmosis. Tameka who picked up the phone helped me to decide and what's best. She knew what my goal: to have great tasting water. I'm glad I went with her recommendation. Customer service is terrible with infinity and Kinetico. The scheduling people seem to hate their job at Infinity. Infinity installed our system wrong originally, this was discovered when coming out for warranty repairs. During this repair they were attempted to replace warranty bypass valve with cheap ball valves. (you purchase expensive parts and when they break under warranty Infinity will try to replace with inexpensive parts) Kinetico uses a dealer only model. There are only 2 dealers in Houston. Infinity is primarily north Houston. The other dealer will not service north Houston. Calling Kinetico does nothing as their customer is Infinity. Lesson learned is any problem you have with Kinetico or Infinity you will not be able to service this system. Do not by Kinetico or anything from Infinity. read more

I called the next business day and they had no idea what I was talking about and couldn't look my information up?! They said that they don't enter it into a system?!! No wonder it was lost. I asked to speak to a manager, "unfortunately the manager is out in the field" so I asked to have a manager call me back "we can only give them the message, we don't know what they do after we give it to them". As a new homeowner in my neighborhood, I was approached by a man in a van selling this product. His company is not affiliated with my builder. He requested an appointment and I granted him one, out of courtesy. I got the hard sell in my home and the van. He wanted a sale right away (that's what salesmen do), but I needed time to research. My neighbor was getting a quote from these guys, and we walked over to hear the presentation that was given out of his truck. We decided to go in on this together and receive a small discount for both homes to get these softening systems added. On install day, the guys were quick and explained how everything works. Later that afternoon, my husband noticed a little water in the garage where they installed the tank, and they immediately came back over and fixed the problem. Now that is service! We have enjoyed the water softener and the water filter in our sink. So if everyone hasn't heard from us in the while it's most likely because since October we have been dealing with home renovations. Infinity Water Systems flooded our house due to installing a water filter set up incorrectly. We have just gotten to a finishing point with the home reno, and then I had to contact them regarding damages to furniture during the flood. I was stupid and decided to be reasonable and told them I'll help them out and not mention the unique one of a kind wood pieces that were damaged and just focus on items I can't replace myself. This amounted to about 6000 in damages. Believe it or not, they refused to pay that amount. So, again, stupidly, I compromised with them and say 4500 is our final offer to walk away from this peacefully. This covers a new rug, a new massage chair the remediation company could not salvage, and 200 dollars for carpet cleaning services. They still came back 1000 dollar under and said that's their final offer. They mentioned to the BBB they have bent over backwards for me on getting the home repaired, and they can't pay anymore than $3500. I'm sorry but how am I at fault for these damages? Had my home not been flooded at their hand, I wouldn't be compromising and taking a loss for the furniture that was affected/damaged. They claim that I cannot provide proof that the items were in working order prior to the flooding incident. Well jeez, I wasn't thinking I needed to document all my furniture's condition anticipating that they would flood my house! You've been warned. UPDATE: I'm not feeling bad for you that you're stressing over a 20k repair bill when it was your guy who did this to us. Who else did you expect to pay? And in what world did you think that that you're not liable for furniture damages? Infinity is the worst company that I came across. They don't care about customers and the way they respond to customers is too bad. I have water softener with Infinity and it was replaced last year, filter was replaced few months back and the technician did not fix filter properly and it started leaking and messed up the wood under the sink. I called the customer service and they were so rude while communicating and mentioned that I have to pay $179.99 service fee to come, check the problem and give quote to fix it. Does it make sense?
