This place is horrible. DO NOT GO HERE, The service is very low quality. The workers talk about you in their native language. They tell you the wait time is 10 mins when in reality its more than 30. the quality of the nail job is like that of someone who is just learning to do nails for the first time. It has a horrific smell in there. And the cost end up being twice that of anywhere else for poor quality service. Save yourself some time and headache and go somewhere else. read more

My usual nail lady is on vacation and I really needed to get my nails done. This place was near my house so I decided to give it a try. I didn't make a appointment but only had to wait 10 minutes before I was helped. The lady was really nice and I liked how she took her time and didn't rush through my pedicure. Pedicures start at $25 and go all the way up to $50 ( depending on what you want) Regular manicures start at $15 and goes up depending on what kind of manicure you get. I felt really bad when I got my pedicure because the color I chose I didn't end up liking. After she had finished painting my toes I asked her if she could change it to the color I got on my nails. I bet she was a bit annoyed but she didn't show it and she repainted my toes to the color I wanted. I definitely appreciated her doing that for me without making me feel bad. read more

This is my second time wearing dip powder and I was SHOCKED when she removed my old set and my natural nails felt THICKER, stronger and smoother than they did before dipping! Walked in for a pedicure this morning, the salon was clean, the host at the desk was nice and I was invited to choose my nail polish and then take a seat. I wish i could remember the name of the lady who did my pedicure, she did a great job, I had the super deluxe pedi ($40) and it was totally worth it! I left the salon almost an hour later relaxed and beautiful... well at least my toes were I will definitely go back to this salon for my pedicures! read more

I have been a customer for over a year and really love this salon but today I came in at 4:30 for a mani pedi and they close at 5:00 on Sundays which I didn't know I thought they closed at 6:00. They said they could take me but the experience was so inferior to what there normal service is. They rushed me through and it was not a comfortable experience with the heat lamp on a pillow on my lap while the gentleman was trying to give me a pedicure. I was in and out in 38 minutes for a pedi and gel manicure and they charged me the same amount. I will not stop going and will be back because the quality of work has been good in the past. I am writing the review because I feel it would have been better to just tell me that they stop taking clients at 4:00 or 4:15 so they could give them their usual quality of service. read more

I have been here multiple times now and I am always treated amazingly by the staff! I only had time to come after work to get a fill and told them I'd be back later in the week to get a pedi. They worked together and did the pedi at the same time as someone else was doing my fill. They went out of their way to make it more convenient for me, all while being very sweet and nice. After going to nail salons for over 25 years, the manager at simplicity was the rudest person I've ever encountered. During my pedicure I kindly asked my technician to please use a new pumice stone so I don't get an infection from a used one. My technician mentioned this to the manager so then the manager proceeded to attack me and say that my request is unreasonable and I can go somewhere else if I don't like it. Then she did the same thing to the other lady I was with. She was in the middle of getting her acrylics done and she asked very nicely that the manager make them more thick so they don't break. That's when she completely flipped out and argued with my friend saying that if she didn't like her work she can go somewhere else. That's all because my friend had a preference and the manager was offended by it for some inexplicable reason. She completely refused to make her nails more thick and told us to leave but still insisted we pay almost in full. We left, but only after my friend was in tears from the horrific experience. We went somewhere else where they were more than happy to accommodate our requests. I would never come back here and whoever this manager is needs to fired for her horrible treatment of customers. Beware if you express any preference whatsoever you will be attacked even when asking in a kind and friendly manner. read more

This is the location right by Target on Arizona and Ocotillo. It used to be Ashley Nails but has new owners and a new name. The interior has calming colors and music. The massage chairs are very plush and comfortable, with 2 armrests per chair and each each side has a cupholder. Very clean and sanitary. Will definitely be back. read more

I phoned ahead to make an appointment for a pedicure because I had a been given a gift card to this salon. The receptionist stated their soonest opening was in a little over an hour at 3:30. I was there at my scheduled time, and she directed me to pick a polish and sit and wait. Another person walked in and asked for a pedicure and they took her back immediately without an appointment. About five minutes pass and I am brought a a chair for my feet to soak where I sit for 30 minutes. Another customer walks in and is immediately helped. It isn't until 4:00 that my pedicure begins. I am pretty frustrated that a walk-in without an appointment is finishing up as mine is just starting. Then I try and use the gift card to pay, and I am told that it is expired. I state that it shows no expiration date on the card, and I checked the balance online and it shows its value. She has the owner's wife come up who tells me it is no good as well. She shows me their new gift card. She states that mine is expired and old. We go back and forth, with me insisting legally gift cards can't expire. They both say there is no way for them to use the gift card because their tablet register doesn't recognize the number. Even though the website on the back of the card recognizes the number and shows the balance. I was also given the receipt for payment with the gift card, and it is still in the gift envelope. The receptionist finally calls the owner after they have asked me several times to pay in a different manner and me refusing. The phone conversation is short, and when she hangs up she says she is to ring the gift card in as cash. It was that easy all along. To sum up my visit . . . I was made to wait while other customers were helped . . . then had to argue over the validity of a gift card with their business on the front of the card, a receipt of original payment, and a website that showed the balance. I left stressed not relaxed. The salon was very clean, their chairs were nice, and the pedicure itself was fine- 4 star rating quality. With the way this business is run though I have a hard time giving it a 2 star rating. They tried very hard to not honor their gift card and from reading the reviews on here, I am not the first person to encounter this. read more

Today I had the worse pedicure ever. First the lady was probably new, which okay fine you have to learn at some point.. MAYBE SHE SHOULD PRACTICE ON HERSELF FIRST. 1st she twisted my foot to angle to her direction which caused my foot to cramp, 2nd she skipped the towel so all the gew was still on my leg from the scrub, 3rd, the hot stones were not just hot, they were so hot it burned the bottom of my foot and I had to pull away, and then when she leaned over me to get the plastic from the tub she smudged my toe which had just been painted , I had her redo it, and she left a fiber from the brush on it, this was just too much!!!! the number 2 was 45.00 which included a sugar scrub, callus remover, long massage, hot stone and hot towel.. never did get a foot massage, only a leg massage and never got the hot towel, but by then I was afraid to even ask for it. I do NOT recommend Simplicity Nails in Chandler on Arizona avenue unless you want to feel ripped off, you walked on hot coals and had your 4year old paint your toes! no Discount offered at all. I absolutely love this place! Everyone that has helped me has been friendly and professional. My nails always look great and the staff are very prompt, always keeping to my appointment time, which is a big deal for me. It's clean inside, the chairs are comfortable, they have TVs and also shades to cover the front windows so it doesn't get too warm inside. I would highly recommend this location and it's right next to Target, which is a plus! :) read more

Unbelievable!!! I got gels done, within 10 days they were peeling off. Then I got them done again, by the same girl, those peeled off in 5 days. I went back to have them fixed, but the first guy didn't say much and told me to come back the next day, "too busy". When I went back the next day, a woman told me that I can get them fixed for $15. No apologies, she just blamed me. Such great customer service. I get to pay for there poor work. NEVER EVER will I go back. Obviously there work isn't good. read more
