They now change the name and this place is called TJ nails. Customer service is terrible! I came in for a pedicure and the lady was rough as she clipped my cuticles. I told her it hurt and she said I had an ingrown toenail which I didn't- then they keep it at about 100° inside so I'm sitting there sweating. There is only one other person in the whole place besides myself so I asked them to please turn on the AC and they got an attitude with me and they both said bye! WOW. This was the best experience I've ever had at a nail salon. Leanna (not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly) went above and beyond for me. She took me in at 6:30Pm, when they close at 7Pm and happily insisted on doing my nails. This is one of the worst nail experiences I have ever had. I stopped in to just get a gel polish change because I was short on time. They kept asking over and over to do a full mani. The lady did not like the color I chose and told me it was too light. She came back and put this ridiculous bubble gum pink under the color I chose and then made the guy paint it her way even though I had chosen a different base color. She said the base color I chose was "milky and ugly". Please keep in mind this lady was not even my nail tech. They charged me $20 just for polish!!! I didn't even have gel on when I got there!! And now less than 24 hours later my way overpriced ugly mismatches pink polishes are chipping off. I will never return to this place - there are far better options all over Gilbert! read more

Absolutely ridiculous. Spent 2 hours and $70 for sub par nails. I showed the picture they accepted to do the design and didn't get what I asked for. If you can't do something don't accept the design, like are you kidding me!? There was a hair in my nail that the lady tried to just let slide and not fix it. I had to tell her to fix it 3 TIMES! The coffin style isn't even. There some weird line on my pinky from the glued on nail. The French paint isn't even or straight. There's bubbles in the paint.There's specs in the clear part of the nail. Not evenly filled. The glitter nail was supposed to fully cover the nail she did 2 coats and didn't even ask, just top coated it and moved on. It was a simple French with glitter ring finger. Just disappointing. I WAS gonna get my brows done but not after the disaster of my nails I'm not wasting more money, especially on my birthday. I need a refund this is ridiculous. A reg polish change is eight dollars when I sat down they said it will be $10 because I had that Jamberry polish on so I said OK $10 it took her an hour and a half to change my polish and she charged me $15 even after I tipped her six dollars so altogether for an eight dollar polish change I sat for an hour and a half and pay $21 I tried to give this place a second chance the first time I had a very bad experience and my nails looked like crap. This isn't my first time at Cloud 9 - but it is the first and last time with the new owners. I come to a salon for a relaxing time - my fault there. It has only been 2 wks and the nails are pulling away from the sides, she filed so quickly that 4 of my fingers have scabs on the sides from skin being filed away and the nails themselves look like hills. A friend of mine even said that my nails just did not look good at all this time - told her to let her friends know to stay away from Cloud 9! I have had my nails done for many years and this has got to be the worse - and she charged $65!! My first visit: great Salon with great prices. Holly did my nails and they are beautiful. We saw the salon while driving by and just stopped in without an appointment and didn't have a wait in the afternoon on a weekday. My second visit: I was not able to remove the gel nail polish so I had to go back into the salon in which they charge $5 to remove nail polish! She insisted that we needed to wait an hour as they were busy and would need to wrap our nails to soak the polish off. As more customers were coming in and noticed me and my mom taking up the 2 only waiting chairs so the new customers left she decided to take us after about 15 minutes of waiting. She did not wrap our nails as she insisted doing prior and instead used a nail file which ruined the top of our nails and created white blotches on them.... read more

After 2 years of going to the same nail salon I decided to try something new. Did some research and heard great things about Cloud 9 and decided to give it a try. I had high expectation and they delivered above and beyond! Was very busy when they arrived and Aaron took the time to welcome me and show options they provided. Once a seat opened up he sat me down and made sure the water temperature was just right for my pedicure. The ambiance was very soothing and complimented with comfortable massage chairs. Instead of a cheese grater, Aaron used a different tool to scrub my foot which was much more comfortable and pleasing. The level of surface was equally acceptable with my manicure and Aaron did a fantastic job of educating me with what he was doing and why. Today I went to cloud 9 (new place never been ) to get a full set gel acrylics. THE WORSE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER encountered. Started off with waiting for 20 minutes past my appointment time while 2-3 employees sat around. I was seated in a chair with nails soaking while nail tech was in back TAKING A BREAK when he was supose to be working on my nails. My tech (will not use names) WAS NOT GENTLE WITH MY NAILS (BURNING MY NAIL AND SKIN). He didnt do the correct shape and size. All nails were uneven and disgustingly wide OVER LAPPING ON MY SKIN !!!!! right pointer finger completely pointing to the left (HIM SAYING NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT ITS YOUR FINGER) CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. ONCE AGAIN THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I'm the paying one not the nail tech. at the end of my experience my nails weren't painted because I had so much anxiety and refused for them to continue. I was yelled at by the front lady and by my nail tech. All telling me to leave and take my nails off. Highly recommend finding a new place instead of this garbage hole. Also they're sanitary is poor. This is my go-to nail salon. They do a wonderful job for pedicures, manicures and waxing every single time. I cannot recommend Holly enough for dip manicure. A lot of other places in the Valley don't know how to do dip but still offer it and it ends up looking too thick and not lasting more than a week. Holly takes time to make sure the dip forms to your mail shape and looks natural. And it lasts 2-3 weeks! She does such a beautiful job. I'll never go to anyone else!! read more

Walked in at 525 on Saturday for a fill... was told that they couldn't get me in. I always find this so frustrating at these places that say they take walk ins. Of course women are trying to get their nails done when their off on the weekends and silly me but if you take walk ins then have enough staff to service your customers. 35 minutes is plenty of time for a fill. Went down the street to Zebra nails where I was immediately seated! I have no problem waiting but wasn't offered the option & wasn't even given an apology. I love this place. I've never been consistent with a nail salon, I would just bounce around to different ones. Someone told me about the SNS dip nails and wanted to try it. I tried it at one salon prior but thought I'd try Cloud 9. Holly did my dip nails and I'm in love. The prior place that did my nails made the dip super thick. When Holly did it, it looked super natural and not as bulky. She's always precise and careful. I've been going to them every couple weeks now and am always taken care of. I have been following the owner, Trisha for four years since I moved to Arizona and she finally has her own place! I have driven miles and miles to get my nails done chasing her around. I do because she the best! Sure I can go to the local place around the corner but why risk quality and health. I have never seen her cut corners when it comes to sanitization which is super important especially when you see lots of interesting feet. I recommend an appointment. They do walk ins but only 3 of the 5 staff do acrylics. There is an abundance of gel selections, like 300 colors (no joke). She also has these special glittery tips...a young lady was getting them put on while I was there and they were pretty spectacular. An interesting new invention her husband came up with are these giant shower caps that they line the basins with. I thought that was a great idea. They did a lovely job renovating the salon from the previous business. Give them a try! I know you will not be disappointed. This has been my favorite salon the past few years. Before the change in management, I always had Nina do my nails she was amazing. With the change in management I began going to Holly who turned out to be just as great as Nina. My past couple visits I have been extremely disappointed. I have requested an appointment with Holly well in advance each time and end up sitting waiting up to 30 mins at times just to be passed off to a different person who doesn't do as good of a job. The last person I was passed off to did not know how to properly do a dip manicure and I left the salon with lumpy, badly shaped nails and $40 out of my pocket.
