I absolutely love Simply Sushi! Every order is made fresh to order--it's not premade, and you can really taste the difference. It's not a fast-food place, but the sushi and sashimi are definitely restaurant quality. I've been following them for years and have always enjoyed their food. I would honestly drive across town just to get their sushi! They have a great variety of fresh fish, and I especially love their catering service. Whether you're looking for quality sushi for yourself or catering for a gathering, Simply Sushi is definitely a place I recommend. Great quality, great variety, fresh, and consistently delicious!
Simply solid. Simpli Sushi is a fairly new Henderson spot launched by a couple previously more known for catering and events. Located in the former shabu spot on Valley View and Horizon Ridge, they've seemingly built a decent following already, given the Saturday night dinner traffic that showed up shortly after we did. This is a counter-order service place, although they do require pre-ordering if you want the drama of the sushi boat or the novelty of a sushi cake. I liked how soy sauce and ponzu dispensers along with various utensils are available on a shelf to the side, and cold water is on a table on the other side. My friend and I were in the mood for some sushi, and we noticed that the Nigiri Platter looked like a great deal. $100 for 40 pieces is basically $5 an order, and most of the items are listed at over $5. It did take a while for the sushi chef to prep all of those pieces in the back but we were rewarded with a pretty platter of 5 pieces each of eight fish. I wouldn't say I was a big fan of all the cuts. The yellowtail was blander than I expected. The salmon and tuna were just alright. The unagi was solid, as was the aji (horse mackerel) which they subbed in since they were out of scallop.. The albacore and sea bream were really nice, given that I usually get albacore coated with cajun spices at sushi spots with more of an unlimited model, and sea bream rarely if at all. Seared salmon was actually my favorite, with a great tenderness from having half of it lightly cooked. By the way, how is 5 pieces the number of choice a platter that's large enough to split between people? Going with 10 different fish at 4 pieces each would make it sharable for two. As it was, my friend and I had to "draft" our favorite pieces at the end to divide the pieces evenly. Simpli Sushi is a good neighborhood sushi spot and provides affordability with solid quality. Maybe I'll go more splurge-y next time with some of the more premium fish options and Modern Sashimi and see how those fare.

Congratulations on your store front! I've been following you guys on IG for a while now! Glad you guys finally have a restaurant open! I wish I had more memory to have taken photos inside because the inside is just so cute! Love the decor! I got the California roll for my husband and I for the no raw bento! How perfect was this bento! I got a variety in this bento and everything tasted amazing! I like the seared nigiri. Everything was freshly made! My husband liked his California roll as well! Service was quick when ordering out. I have to definitely come in to dine. One thing I would just critique is location...although there isn't many sushi places in this area. This plaza isn't getting a lot of traffic in this corner. I've seen restaurants come and go here. Just not the best location. Just saying. Looking forward to dining!
I'm so excited that they are close to me. I can see myself popping in to grab lunch or dinner if I don't feel like cooking. (Which can happen often ) Fresh, simple and delicious. Everything is presented beautifully. Service is friendly and fantastic. I love the casual environment which is bright and inviting. Note, they do not offer beer or sake. So if you want sushi and sake.... I recommend getting takeout and grabbing sake at the store and enjoying everything at home.
I ordered takeout and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered the chirashi bowl and I enjoyed everything in this bowl. 3 pieces of salmon, tuna, 2 pieces of yellowtail, 1 pc of toro and shrimp, and 1 oz of salmon roe. Now I didn't get fresh seaweed like what the description said but I'm not bothered by that because there is half a Japanese plum in there. There was also good wasabi with it. It's tucked away in the corner of valley verde and horizon ridge parkway. The inside is quite cozy. Service was friendly. You want simple high quality sushi? This place hits the spot.
I had seen this place mentioned in some Vegas food groups and I had booked marked it. Well my mom had a hair apt and forgot something and I rushed over to get it to her in time after a series of special events that left me starving...with a baby that had no clean pants. I realized this restaurant was in a same shopping center and sheepishly came in with my wild pantlass child. The owner was manning the counter and was a father of 3 and was so understanding and kind. They had been purely mobile prior and still focus on their large mobile sushi boats for events, but have a small menu of nigiri, sashimi, rolls and rice bowls. They also have a good amount of drink options that are beyond the basic soft drink options. I ordered the chirashi bowl, seared salmon nigiri, and yuzu soda. The chirashi bowl was smaller than some in the area at the price point but the quality of the fish was much higher. It was so buttery and fresh, and the rive was perfectly cooked and seasoned. They also had this little green thing on top that looked like an olive but tasted sweet and kind of like tea. It was really interesting. They served homemade ponzu, good quality wasabi and ginger, and soy sauce on the side to go with it. With the seared salmon nigiri he put the sauce on the side it normally has as he was worried my son might not want the sauce since it was for him. He even threw and extra piece in in case he was hungry...He didn't end up eating it because he was being picky and distracted, so I did lol I normally like a bit of char on my seared salmon, but overall it was good. I think this is a great family run shop that should continue to be supported in their new space. Local businesses that serve good quality ingredients and compassionate service are precious and help create a sense of community.
My first experience with Simple Sushi was actually a year or so ago, when they were a pop-up. My daughter brought home a little box of sushi that excellent. With that being said, I was happy to hear that they actually opened a brick and mortar location here in Henderson. It is located in the shopping center/office park on the corner of W. Horizon Ridge Parkway and Valle Verde. It's a convenient location with a lot of parking! Inside, it is very simple, pun intended. Super clean on the inside, it is a well kept eatery! There are a handful of tables and you order at the counter. The person at the counter was friendly and helpful and made my daughter and I feel at home! They offer nigiri and sashimi a la carte, various rolls, as well as donburi. They also offer various Set-o (set meals) meals. For lunch, the daughter ordered yellowtail nigiri and a shrimp tempura roll. I decided to order the Popular Set-o which included 2-pieces of salmon, 1-piece of yellowtail and 2-pieces of tuna nigiri, as well as 4-piece California roll and 4-piece spicy tuna roll. Total was under $40.00. For a sushi lunch for two, $40.00 is a tremendous value in my opinion. After about 10-minutes our order was brought out to our table and everything was great. The fish was fresh, plenty of ginger and wasabi on the side. Compared to "high-end" sushi restaurants, Simpli's offerings were comparable in terms of flavor and fish quality. If you're in the mood for some simple Japanese sushi and other delicacies, please support this locally owned restaurant. You will be happy that you did!
Simpli Sushi has quickly become my go-to spot in Henderson. It's a smaller, clean place with a chill vibe, and the fish is consistently on point. I mostly stick to nigiri and sashimi rather than rolls, so finding a place with fish this fresh makes all the difference. The service is exceptional, too. I've only been coming here for a short time, but the staff already recognizes me and remembers my usual order. Highly recommend.
Simpli Sushi is hands down the best sushi in Las Vegas. After moving here from Hawaii, I honestly accepted that I would never find truly fresh, high-quality, authentic sushi again. That changed the moment I tried Simpli Sushi. I actually discovered them before they even opened their restaurant. They catered my birthday, and from that first bite, I knew their sushi was something special. The quality, the freshness, and the craftsmanship were on another level. When I found out they were opening a restaurant, I was genuinely so excited, and they did not disappoint. The fish is incredibly fresh and the sushi is beautifully made. This is, without a doubt, some of the best sushi I've had in my entire life. The space itself is clean, cute, and cozy. It has a warm, welcoming feel that makes you feel at home. What makes it even better is the people behind it. It's a husband-and-wife-owned business, and you can truly feel the passion, care, and love they put into everything they do. They are some of the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet, and their service reflects that. I wish I lived closer because I would honestly go every day, but no matter where you are in Vegas, it is completely worth the drive. They deserve all the recognition and support this world has. If you've heard of their story how it all began, you'd know that they have put in the hard work, when the world was told to stay indoors and social distance, this husband and wife decided to bring a sense of comfort and cravings one sushi at a time with a door to door sushi catering delivery service and 6 years later they have their brick and mortar. Their love for the community has always been there which is why they are loved and supported by many. The space is very welcoming, cute and bright with a lot of natural lighting. The menu offers different types of sushi set-o (bento), donburi, nigiri, sushi rolls, sashimi. They also offer catering services for sushi cakes and sushi boats and those are pre order only. The presentation of the food comes out artfully plated. Everything fresh and delicious! If they have delivered sushi to you during a time of the unknown, go and show your support and appreciation for them at their newly opened restaurant.
Ordered it for takeout and it was great! The fish was fresh and the presentation was so nice! Ordered the surprise me sento, spicy salmon, and red dragon rolls, all so delicious! Employees were also so nice, I'll be coming back!

The food was extremely good! Everything tasted so fresh. The owners were very attentive and made sure to answer all of our questions. Restaurant was clean and had good lighting. I would highly recommend going. It was worth the money getting the platter we got to try so many items. If you go I recommend getting the popular platter. While on our road trip we stopped here on a whim and let's just say we were not disappointed! What great customer service! Princess (one of the owners) was so helpful with all the questions I had for my picky eaters. The vibe of the restaurant was amazing from the music to the simple decor and clean organized space. I love the painting on the wall which is a great "Ohana" feel. (Ask what it means). Next time we are in town or driving through we will be back! As for the food, YUM! This sushi was so fresh and made very well. I get picky with the consistency of my sushi rice. I really liked this sushi rice - not mushy and the flavor paired very well with the fish. The service was amazing. I think I met one of the nicest, welcoming, hardworking couple at Simpli Sushi. The restaurant was welcoming and we sat down while waiting for our take out order. I took my family to go try the new Simpli Sushi restaurant and it was AWESOME! The sushi is super fresh, beautiful, and creatively presented. The menu is great with something to fit any taste or appetite. We tried and loved the no raw set-o, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, salmon pop rocks sashimi and finished with the vanilla mochi. All were fantastic. I had high expectations after receiving one of their sushi cakes for my birthday but they knocked it out of the park! We will definitely be coming back soon! read more

Simpli Sushi is simply delightful! After a long afternoon of kayaking on the Colorado River, I could not be bothered to cook dinner. Enter Simpli Sushi. Cut Roll Bento - $14 This bento is a fantastic deal. You get 4 half rolls, a solid amount of poke, and edamame for only $14! It definitely filled me up. The rolls are just your basic ones but they're done well, with fresh fish and rice and a great ratio of the two. The poke and edamame are awesome, as well. Spicy Tuna Onigiri - $5 The photos on Grubhub do not do this one justice. It's HUGE! If you're not too hungry, this onigiri could work as a meal. Tons of fresh spicy tuna inside, and I loved the nutty sesame seeds on the rice. I'm sure the salmon one is also great. Overall, I loved ordering from Simpli Sushi. Would highly recommend this spot if you want a filling but affordable sushi meal. Plus, the rest of their menu looks fantastic. read more

Every now and then, I NEED to satisfy my sushi craving. Lately, since going to so many AYCE sushi places, I wanted something different- greater quality. So I searched on yelp and found an abundance of omakase sushi restaurants. Although they were all very appealing, something about Simple Sushi really stood out to me. From past experiences, pop-up sushi spots have never left me disappointed. Seeing that this is a small family owned biz, I wanted to give them a try. I placed an order couple days in advance for a variety of nigiris for pick-up on Saturday. I arrived at the pick-up location a little bit early, called them, and a nice gentlemen brought out my order. He was nice enough to tell me that they added a a couple extra pieces as a token of their appreciation. My order came in a small pizza box, with a beautiful presentation once I opened the box! Peep the pic. Everything was delicious- including the uni (my favorite)! And the pieces were huge! You can clearly tell that the chef makes each piece of love and care. All of that food for $35! During lockdown it was nearly impossible to have my sushi cravings fulfilled but Simpli Sushi knocked it out of the ballpark with their delicious menu!! I was thrilled to see vegan options on the menu and ordered a few items via Uber Eats. I was not expecting the beautiful presentation and thoughtful touches. This meal brightened my day before I even ate it. The bento box was a delicious mix of vegan goodness, I'm so happy that they didn't use imitation fish instead it was perfectly seasoned pickled red and yellow bell peppers...so creative.!! My rolls were delicious, everything was so fresh and traveled well. I will be ordering again. read more

Simpli Sushi made these amazingly delicious bentos that are too artistically made beautifully and inviting to eat. They taste soooooo good !( melts in your mouth) .They have a variety of sushi on their menu to choose from, I can promise you that you cant go wrong with whatever you choose because they just all taste wonderful (ono). I cant have enough of this place. Ive had it a few times ( yes, well i get too excited to eat this chow I forget to check in and take photos, i just go for this grub and start digging in and the next thing I know I forgot, not this time tho;) .) I highly recommend Simply Sushi. And it is a must try. I did the grab and Go (or curbside pick up) and ordered online. When I got there the order was ready to go. They have plenty of parking in the front of the store so no need to be walking too far to pick up my sushi. Now, just for your 411, all there products are made to order for guaranteed freshness and all individually packed for safety. Woooohooo! That makes me feel good. No sketchy packaging.
