But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. TL;DR The volume button on my phone was damaged during the screen replacement and the replacement screen was not set into my phone properly. They said they didn't have the expertise to repair the issue- until we left a negative Yelp review and they came to fix it. In the process of fixing the volume button, they broke the mute switch and the screen was still not attached securely. Unfortunately my area was not an area that he services but my job somewhat was. I was so grateful for him coming and helping me because my phone was in dire need. I went to apple on several occasions trying to secure an appointment with them but for some strange reason they are always booked. So I looked on yelp and found Joshua he's clearly a superhero I wouldn't think otherwise. He came to my job fixed my phone 4 hours later its still working so he obviously did a great job. I would personally recommend him to anyone. He's also very responsive to text messages. The screen is also warranted for a year as long as you don't break it again. I'd rather pay 100 bucks then 175 for an insurance deductible.. or 150 with apple.
