Looked and asked around about a good place, then my friend recommended me about river street so I went there. I actually meant to post this review some time ago, but I forgot, and a recent conversation…read morereminded me. I have to say, I was very happy with this place, particularly the service of the mechanics that work there and their willingness to help me, despite my strange requests. That's the short story. The long story is, I noticed a very unpleasant smell in my car (a few months after I spilled some bean juice in my car, and I thought I had cleaned it up). It seemed to be coming from the back seat, so I went crazy trying to mask/clean it. i used baking soda, whole bottles of Fabreeze, even bleach, still no luck. Finally, I decided I had to look underneath my seat (its a bench seat) to see if there was some kind of bean juice cesspool growing down there. Now, I have no idea how to get this seat up, so I had no choice but to swallow my embarrassment and ask help from someone that would know. I'm sure these guys thought I was crazy, but they were very nice to me all the same, and obliged my request to pull the seat up. They didn't notice it at first, but when they pulled up a cloth sound barrier, it hit them like a wall! They recommended I replace it and even called dodge to see if they had a part for me, but they couldnt find it. I endued up wiping down the underside of the seat and bleaching the sound barrier. Car has smelled fine ever since! So basically, I was just really happy that these guys were willing to help me and didnt give me as many strange looks as I probably deserved. This may have not been a typical car problem, but I could tell by how they treated me and carried themselves that they were professionals.

theCARS Company, as mentioned by other reviewers, deserves 5 star ratings across all boards…read more Service is extremely quick (usually takes a couple hours for normal maintenance; few minutes for an oil change) and fairly priced. They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. Very professional, well-organized, and reasonable prices: what else could you ask for?

First time I went there, I met a nice person, who introduced himself as the owner, and was really nice!! He easily convinced me to do an out-of-pocket repair as well. I had no problem - He/team did a great job. I am giving three stars because the receptionist was consistently curt and unwelcoming. Despite this, I was planning to bring in my second car for an estimate after the first repair was completed. However, after picking up my car, I called to get the contact information needed for my insurance claim. The receptionist was again so blunt and unpleasant to speak with that I decided not to bother him again--including asking my follow-up question about the second car. This place may actually be good for repairs, but I will not be returning because of how I felt every time I walked into the office.

That being said, I quickly noticed they got globs of what appear to be white paint on the door handles and seats, which was quite annoying to get out. They also missed the clearcoat on the left passenger handle when they were touching it up, as it has a distinctly rougher texture than the rest of the handles. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work I received and the price I paid, I only wish the attention to detail was a little better going forward.

joe's is the only place i will ever bring my car for any body work my car, period…read more joe's auto body is a small shop but i can't say enough about the quality of the work that was done, as well the ease of communication. joe took care of all of the insurance paperwork. when the insurance appraiser came, they wanted to do almost nothing to fix my car (a 2009 subaru outback that had a minor fender bender), joe was able to get them to adjust their pitifully low estimate and all of the work that needed to be done was done. i didn't have to deal with the insurance at all once i dropped my car off, and i appreciated that the car was done on time. i really like that joe's auto body is a local "mom n' pop" business and i know that when i get work done here, i am putting money back into the local community that i live in rather than some shithole like maaco where they do mediocre/poor work. the other thing i really really loved about joe's was how CLEAN it was. it's not another grossy greasy garage. when you walk in you can see his shop and you can tell right away how clean and organized he is by the way he takes care of his shop, which you don't always see if you are using a local auto body shop. you can tell joe takes a lot of pride in his work and his business and he was so nice and took care of everything. i have recommended him to friends and family and would without a doubt go back if i needed any work in the future.

When booking an appointment, there was a miscommunication hat the manager will come pick up the car, but ended up not happening due to language barriers. That's fine, I drove the car there and took an Uber back. Took them an hour and a half to complete my car and was told I would need to pick it up by 3:30 (since they can only park my car there for 3 hours). I had to leave work early and take Uber back to grab my car. That's fine. I didn't really get a chance to check my car there, but when inspecting my car after I got home, I noticed a bunch of spots that got missed...especially since this is a 2 step Exterior and paid separate for interior. Inside, they missed a spot on the driver side door latch and had a liquid drip spot on the passenger side. Exterior, the bumper still had a bunch of missed bug splats...not even small ones. Also didn't wipe down the driver side side-mirror so it had some white residue. The roof had a bunch of random spots that looked like they didn't wipe it clean or at all. Lastly, this might be nit-picking but they didn't clean the inside of the fuel door. For the amount of money paid, I definitely expected a better job on the exterior as it was the two step exterior. Other than that, the owner was very responsive and communicated to his staff. When I arrived, the staff were also really nice, although a bit rushy. They definitely did a better job inside the car than outside. The inside was pretty spotless besides the door handles. Don't know if I would go back as a quick wash place would have yielded similar results for much much less.
