Very disappointed- I had booked an appointment with them last minute and was grateful they were able to take me so quickly. I just just bought a used car and wanted it to look brand new. However, when I picked up my car I was shocked to see what a mediocre job was done. I paid $300 for a "Complete" detail and though the outside looked great, the interior had many missed spots. The nooks and crannies of the car were ignored and little effort was made to get into the small (but reachable) crevices. One of the back windows was all smudged, and the glove box was still filthy from the previous owner. I could have saved $300 and did it myself, still getting a better result. When I walked in to pay the entire place smelled like marijuana. After reaching out to Eddie he stated the marijuana smell is left from other cars being cleaned. I also emailed him with pictures and he has ignored me- it's been a week and a half and I still haven't heard a reply. I've uploaded pictures of the back window smudges, glove box dirt/dust, and the gear knob with debris. Don't waste your time or money here!!! read more

Eddie, Diogo and the team did a GREAT job with my Jeep Wrangler. As many owners of Jeeps know, (they tend to leak) Well mine did after sitting for some time and seats became moldy. I am super-picky and have always been disappointed by previous auto details - they always miss something that I see right away. This past week, Vinny and the guys absolutely transformed my disgusting, dog hair-covered minivan to make it look like the day I picked it up at the dealership. I am still trying to find something they missed. They got every square inch of this car. Not one single dog hair in sight, ANYWHERE. This place is really amazing. I am extremely picky and I am very particular with car and they certainly went above and beyond. My Mini Cooper looks brand new every time it comes back. The air vents and every litte crevice is cleaned. They are amazingly detailed! They organize your belongings that you may have left in your car by accident which is great too. I also work all day so it's great that they have an option to have your car picked up so it doesn't disrupt your day. I utilize this option every time and I love it. I have not taken my car anywhere else. read more

I brought in a car that was the ultimate challenge. A medical emergency had occurred in the car, with the result that the driver's seat and floor and steering wheel and dash were covered with vomit and other bodily fluids as well (TMI, I know). The car had then sat, locked up, in a tow lit during a 90-plus degree heat wave for about a week. The folks at Details were responsive, caring, and non-judgmental. Even more important, they told me exactly how long the cleanup would take, met that schedule, and did a meticulous job. The car looks, inside and out, better than new, and there is not a whiff of the previously rancid smell. (There is a less-than-perfumy cleaning smell, but I know that will fade.). When I picked up the car, the first question from the owner was to inquire about the medical condition of the driver. And, under the circumstances, the price was perfectly reasonable. I highly recommend this shop. Warning: It's a little tough to find; it's off a driveway-like road tucked back from Rte 9. Worth the search. read more

Where do I begin. Cars, trucks, suv's, they all get nasty dirty and well, that does not go only for the outside, but also, the inside. I am a big fan of service and anyplace that excels in service is good in my book! Details, etc has detailed and washed all my cars over the years, they will pick up and drop off, they will do corporate discounts... They really make an effort to make your car nice and clean. Do yourself a favor and give them a call! When I lived in Wellesley, this is where I went and any travel that takes me to MA I go out of my way to get there! read more

These guys wouldn't be around if they weren't poised at the edge of Wellesley, where needless overcharging is a form of bragging rights (for the customers, much less the perpetrators). I have had numerous drive by experiences where they acted as if anyone not on their short list of contract repeat businesses or consumers was supposed to act impressed at rates that are about three times what you'd find at a "lowly" Scrubadub or similar. The amazing part is theyve been in this location so long, while other old manual labor type stores like 'button supply", "Adolph's auto tops" and a genuine Italian tile type place, et al have bit the dust...those were shops with owners who really shared enthusiasm with their picky clients. This one is right down there with Creative Stereo (aka wallet picking), gold jewelery traders and such. In all fairness, they probably couldn't handle being less persnickety with drive up customers, being that their frontage is blocked by a dirty independent gas/repair store. Their little tent in front of detailing garage is cutesy, and they seem to always have a number of soccer mom cars to fiddle with. That said, it's great they're still around, but it's at your wallet's behest....there are better deals around (god forbid, do your own waxing?)!!!? read more

Years ago Details Etc repaired a bumper of mine on an Audi A6...black paint that would show any imperfection. The work was flawless. I recently purchased a 2009 Porsche 911 C4S that had a few blemishes on the bumper that required bondo and metallic paint blending. I didn't have any second thoughts about bringing the car to Details Etc. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. These guys are the real deal. True artisans. Very high end work. I had high expectations and they met them all. They gave me a timeline for the repair and had the car ready on time. Bumpers are tough to paint. Plastics retain static electricity and naturally attract dust. The paint is dust free and as close to perfect as It possibly could be. My bumper looks like it was painted at the factory in Stuttgart. Thanks for a job well done. Word of mouth is the best advertising for any small business and I will spread the word. Thanks to all at Details Etc.
