They always had issues with the self-service bays. Often the soap wasn't working, or the rinse was mixed with dirty soapy water that wouldn't let you rinse it properly. So I am not surprised that they went out of business. However Prestige took it on another level. They raised prices for everything, including self-service bays and... made it worse. The equipment is old and outdated, it barely functions and they ask for way more money now. Also, they shut down touchless bay, so no more of this service for you (if you were looking for it). I am willing to drive 10 more miles just to have a good car wash. Unfortunately, as almost always with Prestige - once they touch something, they ruing it in attempt to satisfy their money greed.

Will probably become my new go-to carwash place, due to their superior payment machine: you can just tap your credit card, making it much snappier than the old slide-through one at the Somerville Carwash on Washington St where I usually go. More importantly, the timer display is highly visible: nice big 2" tall bright red numbers on a monitor that is slanted in a corner making it much more visible than a flat-against-the-wall display. I just cough up my $6 for 5 minutes, enough time to do the high pressure soap spray followed by high pressure rinse spray, to get the layer of icky road salt off, and away I go. And last but not least, the self service bays are closed at one end, which means you have to back out when leaving, but is quite a blessing on cold blustery days! I would not want to come here during the really busy daytime hours especially when people get out from work, but it does seem to be thoughtfully set up with traffic cones creating orderly lanes for the automated washes, hand washes, and self-service bays---far better than that godawful place in Arlington I tried once. Luckily I always go in the evening after my Y (just 4 minutes away) closes, so no danger of that ever happening.

The first time I went, I was a little embarrassed; my cars interior was full of leaves and dirt from the winter/spring. This place has a full crew working on the car. The basic full service includes vacuuming and dusting inside, then wash outside, for $37.50! And they are doing a consistently good job, in less than 20 min! Small waiting area, but you don't have to linger for long. As part of this review, I posted a photo with the add-ons, a VIP spa menu for cars. You can get your car pampered at any level you wish! Overall, a good place, with good value for your money! I have bookmarked it.

I used to have their monthly membership which is very reasonably priced, but I switched to paying as I go since I only need it once a month. They are usually pretty busy during lunch time and on weekends, but never too busy and worth the wait. The employees really make the place a 5 star experience. I have gotten my car detailed here severals times and they do a great job, my car looks like a brand new car every time I get it detailed. I like that I can easily book appointments online and that the pricing is pretty transparent, this is only nice and modern place in the Boston area and I'll continue to go here since the staff is always very pleasant. The only Con would be that sometimes they are a liiitle pushy when it comes to signing up for a monthly membership, but I choose to just smile and be polite and say I prefer to pay as I go.
