Recently came here to get my car detailed for the first time, ever! Finding this place is really tricky, but once I was in the area and called, I was directed to the hidden back driveway. My car had never been detailed before, and they did a great job. I am amazed that it looks brand new - I've received so many compliments. Taking off one star for the waiting experience. There is a waiting room, but it does not have AC and needs updating. Alex was unable to give a time estimate. He initially said ~2 hours, but it ended up taking nearly 5. I don't disagree, my car had never been detailed - but it would have been helpful to plan my day a bit better. read more

Amazing!! Twenty years behind the wheel and I still haven't figured out that containers of liquid need lids and straws when you're driving. When I dropped my car off, the floor carpet, seat upholstery and buttons/ vertical crannies around the emergency brake were crusty with four years of spilled milky coffee and smoothies. Really, really gross. It's now spotless, and best of all doesn't smell like anything (I opted for no air freshener), where yesterday it smelled like curdled soymilk mold. Alex even removed all the leaves and dirt that had collected under the hood. He was able to do an interior detailing within 4 hours for $100 less than other shops who looked at my car in despair and said their process would take two or three days given the state of everything. Really happy! read more

Fast and did an awesome job! My car is 10 years old and looked almost brand new when I picked up. Friendly and they were done sooner than I expected. Price was reasonable, when compared to other local places who detail. Would definitely go again. read more

I found Alex on CL - brought my black Honda Civic on July 6, 2015. A friend of mine was eating in my car [without my knowledge] and got food stains all over the passenger seat and left the car smelling disgusting and trash everywhere. I cleaned up most of the trash, and Alex took care of the rest. I didn't think that the stain would come out, but Alex did a great job! He was professional and friendly, and by the way, I share the same initials with him, LOL! Who'da thunk? I'll definitely bring both of my cars to Alex again. read more

I was lending my car to someone. He has a pet so I very much worried about the condition of the car at the time it came back. I wanted to make it nice and clean when he pick it up, so hopefully he will do the same when he gives it back. It would be snowing the next day, so I only did interior. I checked out a dozen auto detailing shop, from boston to Newton. Only information I could get were from their websites. Finally I chose this place, first it was the closest, second it was cheaper. I had a hard time finding this place. After I get to its front gate I realized I was here couple months ago, but I turned around because I couldn't find its main gate and I worried it was not legit. I called and a guy picked up my car. I told him I wanted stains on my door gone. It should be pretty easy because those were all dust and stuff. He called me 2hours after, and I came to pick up my car from some mechanics. Obviously they are not the same group of people but they could help when he is away. I checked the condition of my car. Basically, he did what he has to. He cleaned all mats, and I can tell he wiped the door and panel. However there is more to expect. There are still stains on the door and beneath the wheel, so I took a wipe a finished on my own read more

Alex did the old bait and switch on me. I asked him multiple times if he was going to polish the truck with a buffing machine/hand tool to get the micro scratches out and if he was going to shampoo the headliner. He said he would, and he offered the best price for the service. When I came back to get my vehicle neither of those two key items were done. The only reason I drove all of the way out to leave my car with him was because I needed those two items done. While the job he did was good it is not detailing. It was a wash/wax with an interior Vacuum and wipe down. He explained to me upon my return that it costs much more to do that, I told him I was aware of that and it was the only reason i went to him! read more

Alex was extremely responsive. He called right back about scheduling the appointment. He did a spectacular job of getting pine sap off my car. He even did more than expected. My husband is now going to have his car detailed this week. read more

Alex did a great job with my partner's car that hadn't been properly detailed since first purchasing it 4 years ago. He was quick to respond, professional, and gave us a fair price. Will definitely go back for more details and other car needs. read more

This was what my car exactly needed! Every year I spend time trying to clean my car and every year I can never get it spotless. I have a vacuum that does what it needs to, but I can't reach those tight spaces. Alex did an awesome job in about 2 hours. He called me to let me know my car was ready and let me leave my car there for a couple of hours in the afternoon until I could get my car. My car is absolutely spotless and he even took the time to clean the mats in my car. I would definitely recommend him and it was decently priced!! Very happy with the service! read more

Found Alex through Yelp and definitely someone I'll go back to when I need detailing done on my car. I gave a friend a ride back from a party who had too much to drink and threw up in the car. I did my best to clean it up but it still smelt gross and had also gotten in the door through the window - not the best situation. Alex responded very quickly via Yelp when I messaged him (under 30 mins per response, usually within minutes) and was able to take me the next day. I only had interior detailing done but the car looks like new, smells great, and he did an amazingly thorough job. Best part was the price - offered a great rate especially for the work he did. I would definitely recommend A R Auto Detailing to others. read more

I visited A R Auto Detailing thanks to the Yelp review, so I figure it's only fair to leave my own review. I typically look for company websites ideally with online booking, but I must say I was very happy with my experience here. I sent an inquiry through Yelp and got an email back within minutes providing a reasonable quote and confirming availability for a few days later. On the morning I was scheduled, Alex called to let me know he'd be in a half hour later then we scheduled but that I could drop the car off with someone else at the garage (looks like a couple businesses operate out of the same space). I didn't mind at all, I was glad he called rather than letting me ask around when I got there. He did an excellent job and I was able to pick it up from the garage later that day as planned. I would definitely go there again and recommend it. read more

Alex is a professional at this craft! We had him completely detail inside and out our Honda CRV and Honda Pilot, he did an excellent job. We'll be back and will recommend him to family and friends. Alex responded promptly to my quote request via Yelp and communicated with me regularly throughout the process. Thank you Alex and team! read more

I found Alex on Yelp and booked based on the reviews. I am really pleased with the results. My car is spotless inside and out. It took about two hours as estimated and the price was very reasonable, even compared to NH prices (where things tend to be a little less expensive). I would use his services again. read more

Alex is the best. I found him on Yelp. He took my 5 year old car that had transported teenagers and babies for 5 years and made it look and feel like brand new again. He was professional, responded quickly to my inquiry and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend his detailing service read more

I requested a quote from Alex thru Yelp and he called me within 20 minutes. Extremely reasonable prices and great customer service. I had the inside of my Jeep detailed and was extremely happy with the results. Alex and his team do great work! read more

Alex was great from start to finish. Very nice and accommodating, even offered to touch up a scratch with paint if he found the right shade. Car came out showroom clean. Very reasonable price. Will definitely go again! read more

The inside of my car looks like new! So pleased with the quality of the service. Alex was extremely professional and helpful in the scheduling and pick up all went very smoothly. Highly recommended read more

5 stars all around!! I have two children and drive a minivan... not my dream car, but practical. But having a family and kids in the car all the time, it starts to look like we live out of it. Alex brought life back to my van. I never thought it could look that good. It honestly looked better than when we first bought it (used). Alex is both professional and personable. His attention to detail is superb. He works hard to get the job done and get it done perfectly. If you're looking for a professional, superb car detailing, Alex is your guy. Highly recommend!! read more

Very thorough and detail oriented. There are no cutting corners. His goal is not to be as quick as possible but to do the best possible job. Also very affordable compared to other detail services in the area. Highly recommended. read more

Very good service, owner is super friendly. I got my car detailed for my birthday and it turned out great plus the price was excellent. Compared to the detailing at the Natick Mall for instance its a better detail job at a better price. Just a heads up its actually behind the garage that's on the street. read more

I called this place on a whim after being disappointed by another place close by. I got an appointment the very next day and was not disappointed. Alex did a phenomenal job. I thought my job would be rushed due to it being last minute but that wasn't the case at all. Thank you so much!! Will be back for the full detail soon. read more

Alex did a great job with my vehicle! It was disgustingly dirty and by the time he was through it looked perfect. The price was reasonable, it didn't take long, Alex gave me a ride so that I could be without my car while he detailed it, and on top of it all he is a really nice guy. Highly recommend! read more

Alex was super nice and my car looks great! He did upcharge for the dog hair, which I didn't realize beforehand, but there was a lot of it, so fair enough. He initially told me 2 hours and it ended up being 4. I had a very flexible day, but it could have been problematic if I had needed the car sooner. All in all I was pleased with the work, and I will probably use AR again because I can walk there from my house, which makes dropoff/pickup very easy. read more

Recently got my car detailed and I could not be any happier. My car has beige seat and I have kids, anyone with kids should already know how that is. :) when I seen my car I could not believe how great it looked (in and out). It was like a brand new car. I strongly recommend anyone to check this place out. Clean, friendly, good price and over all very professional. Will definitely take it back.. read more
