Steve and his team took excellent care of my car after a mold situation threatened to send my beloved Santa Fe to the junk yard. Long story short, a rogue bocce ball destroyed the car's glass sunroof and while waiting for that to be replaced, the car sat outside through several rain storms and ended up with mold on the carpets. The car shop that replaced the sunroof gave us an estimate of over $2500 to replace all the carpeting, which they told us needed to be done to truly eliminate the mold. Our insurance company wasn't willing to cover that, and deemed the 2010 car a "total loss", despite nothing else wrong with it. I found Steve's shop on Yelp and brought the car over for a second opinion. Steve agreed the mold damage was extensive, and replacing the carpet would cost roughly the same amount, but he was willing to try giving the carpets a deep clean first for a more affordable price. Steve was very honest with us about the whole process and we really trusted him. The shop has a lot of experience dealing with mold situations, especially this summer with how rainy it has been. The car was ready just a couple of days later. The team did an amazing job - the carpets were thoroughly cleaned top to bottom and the whole interior of the car is spotless! Arlington Auto Detailing performs outstanding work at their new, larger location; just off Mass Ave outside of Arlington Heights behind the Mirak Dealership. I recently scheduled 4 vehicles to be detailed; exteriors and interiors and Steve and his team did fantastic work. Scheduling was easy and is required and the coordination for vehicle drop-off, pick-up and exchanges (in my case) were seamless with constant communication available via phone, email, and text. Drop off hours from 7:30AM (they also have after hours key drop if needed, and pickup by 5PM. On one of my newer vehicles which was suffering from a terrible dealer detailing and Arlington Auto Detailing was able to get the ghosting and swirl marks out of the paint with a fine polishing. Windows were cleaned inside and out and no heavy perfumes or oily residue left inside the vehicle. They also did an SUV and Pickup truck with equal satisfaction. For my mother's older (2014) vehicle that was showing signs of headlight clouding, they were able to restore those expensive lights to a factory like newness; and she is ecstatic at how they look and even more pleased with the added illumination driving at night. Additionally, it was great to see first hand the safely and cleaning precautions taken by the staff during Covid. I purchased a new Tesla and had concerns about protecting the paint. I brought he car over to Arlington Auto Detailing, and Steve was extremely generous with his time. He looked-over the car and made some helpful recommendations, and even found some issues that I didn't spot. Steve is also a Tesla owner himself (and his shop sees them often), so he and his team know these cars inside and out. Teslas are notorious for front-bumper rock chips, so I decided to go with full front PPF and ceramic coating over the entire car (in order to help with MA winters). It was definitely expensive, but Steve and team did great work, and have been wonderful to work with, especially with how graciously Steve has handled all of my questions both prior and after the service. Fantastic! First time here and we will be going back. Decided to have the inside and outside cleaned (total clean) after a cross country road trip/camping adventure. My fiance found Arlington Auto Detailing through some search engine, but we decided to give it a try because it was local. It appears that Fred runs his own business about 9 months out of the year from a small location tucked between a community bank and car seat cover shop. The rates was fair for a sedan at $ 165.00. Fred has all of tools of a professional - I was used to the garden hose and bucket type in DC. It was obvious that he used a clay brick to make a nice waxing appearance. The interior was spic and span, and we were left with a nice odor to boot. The cupholders and side compartments were muck-free afterwards. I am about to inherit my mothers-in-law's car, a heavy smoker. He explained the process for removing smoke odor which sounded pretty comprehensive. I'll update the review after that job. I could not be happier with my overall experience with Arlington Auto Detailing. My car had rodent infestation under the hood late last year. Damage was done to wiring and hoses, and there was a terrible smell. The auto repair shop that fixed the wiring, etc., told me I'd need to get the car detailed to combat the odor. I did not know at the time that the repair shop marked down completion of air filter and fan cleaning that they simply did not do. (They have subsequently apologized. That's a separate story.)
