After not finding what I was looking for online, I requested a quote for auto detailing via Yelp. TShine was one of the responses. Tim responded with a flat rate quote. The others offered ranges, leaving me unsure what I would pay. I get my car interior detailed annually and don't transport children or pets so it needed some attention but wasn't a complete disaster. I had recently transported a bike inside so I had some mud and grease marks. My SUV is a 2005 so I had some old stains that had not come out with previous detailing. I have stopped expecting them to be removed. Tim was flexible- we texted a few times and arranged a time. I was happy that he accepted Venmo as an option. He accommodated my schedule- starting at 830am instead of his usual 9am to accommodate my meeting schedule. It took about 2 hours. He threw in an exterior hand wash- might not sound like much but he actually removed so many of the superficial scratches that had been there for some time. Even the old stains on the upholstered seats were gone. It really looks like new. He showed me the second canister of extracted water afterwards- ok, maybe it was a bit dirty. Best car detail I've had in years. Price was competitive and reasonable. I learned that Tim was relatively new to the area but not new to this type of work. In speaking to him afterwards, it was clear that he really enjoys this work in additional to being good at it. Nice to pay for a service from someone who really cares about their work-it shows in the quality. read more
