Perfect for any car enthusiast that cares about their car. Once again, it's touchless so don't expect perfectly clean. The whole point of these in winter is to get salt off your car I paid for the best $16 wash because why not. You can pay with card or Apple Pay. When the door opens, the stream of water that cleans the bottom of your car is insane. It's a beautiful fan ensuring complete coverage to rinse all the salt off. The one I have in NY sucks. Then you drive up to where it says and then stop and let it do its thing. Make sure to drive slow out so the dryer can do its thing Here are the results. Will probably become my new go-to carwash place, due to their superior payment machine: you can just tap your credit card, making it much snappier than the old slide-through one at the Somerville Carwash on Washington St where I usually go. More importantly, the timer display is highly visible: nice big 2" tall bright red numbers on a monitor that is slanted in a corner making it much more visible than a flat-against-the-wall display. I just cough up my $6 for 5 minutes, enough time to do the high pressure soap spray followed by high pressure rinse spray, to get the layer of icky road salt off, and away I go. And last but not least, the self service bays are closed at one end, which means you have to back out when leaving, but is quite a blessing on cold blustery days! I would not want to come here during the really busy daytime hours especially when people get out from work, but it does seem to be thoughtfully set up with traffic cones creating orderly lanes for the automated washes, hand washes, and self-service bays---far better than that godawful place in Arlington I tried once. Luckily I always go in the evening after my Y (just 4 minutes away) closes, so no danger of that ever happening.

Make sure to wait on the roadside opposite if the lines is too long to not block the road ( someone will tell you that). They are efficient and my car was washed very thoroughly with lots of bird shit and snow. For $3 more, you also can get the interior clean and vacuum. Overall, the soap water initially was using a pressure spray and water was washed by a water hose (lower pressure). But it was gentler than the machines. They ensure to clean the top of my SUV as well which is nice. The interior windows are also cleaned up so I love that small detail. Total price for a SUV (exterior and interior) cost $35 and I gave tips as extra. They take CASH only. Will come back.

I will definitely keep going back, especially given that the inside + outside cleaning was only $30 (+ tip, cash only). I was a little confused at first about where to find this place -- it's located in P2 of the parking garage at 131 Dartmouth. You have to get a parking ticket but he validates it for $5 for 4 hours (usually it's $11 for just 1 hour) - now that I know that, next time I'll try to take advantage of it on a day where I can spend a few hours in the Back Bay. As far as I could tell there is just one guy working here so it's probably a good idea to call ahead or plan to spend at least an hour or so in the area. The guy was really friendly and clearly takes pride in doing a job well done. I don't think you can find someplace cheaper than this, and the quality was as good or better as places where I've paid quite a bit more.

This place is dangerous and poorly run…read more I had a really concerning experience at the new ScrubaDub car wash in Medford and would strongly recommend avoiding it. While I was on the conveyor belt, the vehicle in front of me suddenly stopped moving -- but the belt continued pushing my car forward. As a result, my car hit the vehicle in front of me and actually pushed it off the track. This is an extremely dangerous situation in what is supposed to be a controlled, automated environment. We had to notify the staff ourselves that there had been a collision. When I asked to speak with the manager, no one went to get them. After waiting about five minutes, I had to walk into the wash area myself to find the manager. When we explained what happened, the manager admitted that something similar had occurred earlier that same day and that they believed a sensor might be broken. If that's the case, the wash should not be operating. Continuing to run equipment that you know may be malfunctioning is irresponsible. Thankfully, there wasn't damage to my vehicle, but the front license plate bolts on my car gouged the bumper of the Mercedes that became stuck. While we were speaking with the manager, another customer approached to report that the wash had ripped a piece of trim off their vehicle. This place feels like a hot mess. It appears they are aware of serious operational issues but are choosing to stay open and deal with the damage afterward rather than shutting down and properly fixing the problem. That's not acceptable when customers' vehicles -- and safety -- are at risk. Avoid this location at all costs.
