Last year, I had my side mirror knocked off and they helped me repair the damage through my auto insurance but they initially installed the wrong mirror onto my vehicle and then replaced it with the correct one a day later. This time around, there were some damages to the front of my vehicle. The accident occurred after Christmas and I was scheduled for a drop-off a couple weeks after my insurance contacted the location that I'd need work done. They called me to schedule the drop-off, which provided seamless customer service. Drop-off was quick and easy as I didn't require a rental. I was quoted 2 weeks for repair time but it was done in little over a week. I went to attempt to pick up my vehicle yesterday and the valet attendant accidentally locked my key in the car and I did not have the spare key on me. The mechanic was attempting to get my car open for a bit and I asked what was happening as a bit of time had passed and was informed of the situation. It was 6°F outside so this may have contributed to their difficulty in unlocking my car. The desk staff offered to compensate for an Uber as I was going to be late for work and compensate my Uber to come pick up my car later that day. I decided to take public transit instead to work and they called me a few minutes once I got on the train that they unlocked my car and would deliver my car to my workplace later within the day instead of having me come pick it up. The owner of the establishment gave me a phone call later that day to apologize for the inconvenience and also stated he'd be dropping my vehicle off for me. I received text notifications upon his arrival and my car had returned to my possession. Glenville Terrace Auto Body never fails to provide exceptional customer service and attention to detail. I appreciate the interior and exterior clean that they provide as well and my car is always looking great after repairs. I will be returning if I need any additional work done to my vehicle as they are the best of the best in the area.

I've been corresponding with Glenville Terrace Auto Body for about two months or so, from talking…read moreto GEICO insurance, bringing my Toyota Corolla Cross in to determine what parts need to be ordered from Toyota (there was a backlog on part of the Toyota manufacturer), until next week will be the time when all the parts arrive and Glenville Terrace Auto can finally start fixing the multiple damages (scratches and bumps) on my Toyota Corolla Cross. I hope the color comes out to be perfect -- just like the original color coming out of the factory. Hopefully there is no issue here as this color can be considerably unique. This far, though, for the past two or so months, my correspondence with Glenville Terrace Auto Body has been very smooth and professional. They explain to me and follow up thoroughly with what to expect and the timeline to be expected. I still expect perfection for them to fix my car! They were nice enough to even go above and beyond and offered to drop me off at Enterprise because, on Enterprise's fault, Enterprise was lagged in coming to Glenville Terrace Auto Body, to give me the car I reserved way in advanced through GEICO. So yea, kudos for Glenville Terrace Auto Body. Once my car parts arrive--early December 2023-, I expect everything to go smoothly with Glenville Terrace; I hope perfection on the repair of my car, so that I can recommend my other colleague and friends in the areas who don't know about this hidden Auto Body Shop. Hoping for a perfect service and handling everything smoothly with the GEICO insurance on my behalf. Normal people understand that they may find more damage as they work on the car and that the end price may be different. That is what the word estimate means- not a final amount. The guy told me it was impossible to know, because apparently they don't have a standard rate they charge for labor, got angry, and stormed off. I then went to another place down the street with the exact same question, and they calmly and professionally explained how they do pricing, and what they charged for labor. I have been getting car repairs for decades, and never encountered anyone unwilling to give an answer about pricing and payment. Absolutely terrible, unprofessional customer service.

I have to say, I was very happy with this place, particularly the service of the mechanics that work there and their willingness to help me, despite my strange requests. That's the short story. The long story is, I noticed a very unpleasant smell in my car (a few months after I spilled some bean juice in my car, and I thought I had cleaned it up). It seemed to be coming from the back seat, so I went crazy trying to mask/clean it. i used baking soda, whole bottles of Fabreeze, even bleach, still no luck. Finally, I decided I had to look underneath my seat (its a bench seat) to see if there was some kind of bean juice cesspool growing down there. Now, I have no idea how to get this seat up, so I had no choice but to swallow my embarrassment and ask help from someone that would know. I'm sure these guys thought I was crazy, but they were very nice to me all the same, and obliged my request to pull the seat up. They didn't notice it at first, but when they pulled up a cloth sound barrier, it hit them like a wall! They recommended I replace it and even called dodge to see if they had a part for me, but they couldnt find it. I endued up wiping down the underside of the seat and bleaching the sound barrier. Car has smelled fine ever since! So basically, I was just really happy that these guys were willing to help me and didnt give me as many strange looks as I probably deserved. This may have not been a typical car problem, but I could tell by how they treated me and carried themselves that they were professionals.

They have appointments open constantly and 'reservations' are easy to make. In terms of quality, I have been in there twice--once because my 'check engine' light lit up and the other for the 45,000 mile routine maintenance--and the results couldn't have been better. Problems are discovered quickly and solutions are provided even faster. What sets theCARS Company apart from any other car shop I've been to is their customer care. Point in case: recommending a cheap buff-and-polish job for the many bumps and scratches on my car as opposed to an extremely expensive paint job. Need another example? They offer discounts and coupons constantly. They don't hide them from you. In fact, make sure to politely ask if they have any available and they will respond honestly. Believe me, they've got your back and they're looking to protect your wallet. They seem genuinely interested in your best interest and not on making a quick buck. Very professional, well-organized, and reasonable prices: what else could you ask for?

I had no problem - He/team did a great job. I am giving three stars because the receptionist was consistently curt and unwelcoming. Despite this, I was planning to bring in my second car for an estimate after the first repair was completed. However, after picking up my car, I called to get the contact information needed for my insurance claim. The receptionist was again so blunt and unpleasant to speak with that I decided not to bother him again--including asking my follow-up question about the second car. This place may actually be good for repairs, but I will not be returning because of how I felt every time I walked into the office.

After 3 weeks, my car was ready for pick up. However, upon inspection, there were still chips, scratches and visible paint bubbles in the one area they were supposed to fix. I refused to sign off on the car and asked to have the manager call me. After speaking with the manager the following day, they apologized and said they would get it back in the shop and done right. While I was waiting for my vehicle the second time, the business put me in a luxury rental and took less than a week to fix. Upon pick up, my car was detailed and looked brand new. The manager personally walked around my car and again apologized for the error. While this business did not fix my car initially to the expectations we aligned on, they did make it right the second time and that's what matters in my eyes. I really appreciate the transparency and efforts to make up for the mistake and do right by the customer.

My husband was called to pick it up 4 times and 4 times things that had been pointed out over and over again were not done, on the 5th time he got one mile from C&E with the Jeep before the transmission seized because somewhere along the line C&E never checked the transmission or transmission fluid after the Jeep was there due to a front end collision! I'm no mechanic but clearly these guys aren't either. We paid out $1200 more to a jeep dealer to put in a used transmission that C&E clearly caused and refused to pay us back for. Con artists and morons run this business. Get ready to double and triple check any work you have had done by them, they are disgusting! Update 2025: C&E decided to not pay for our rental during the period listed above b/c I gave them a bad review and told the rental place that it was our bill, it went to collections before we even found out. C&E are horrible people whom seem to get away with a lot. Just saying
