I had my mammogram appointment here about two weeks ago. The location is convenient -- it's in the parking lot next to Target and surrounded by several other businesses. When you enter the building, the suite number and name are clearly listed outside the door, which makes it easy to find. Upon arrival, the receptionist was polite but a bit dry, not as welcoming as I've experienced at other locations. The technician who performed my imaging was very kind, friendly, and informative, which I appreciated. However, I was a little taken aback when I entered the exam room and noticed another patient's gown still sitting on the bench -- it made me question whether the rooms are cleaned thoroughly between appointments. Overall, my experience was decent, but I may consider returning to my previous location in the future. read more

I scheduled 3 different diagnostic screening, breast mammogram, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI at this location, or SO I THOUGHT. I get here and do the mammo and they tell me I have to schedule the MRI and the ultrasound separately?! That is not what I was told when I scheduled the appointment. So I call and schedule the MRI & the Ultrasound at a different location further from home, THEN I get calls and texts that the new appointment needs to be rescheduled, no explanation as to why, NOTHING. I reschedule and then I get ANOTHER voicemail and text that this appointment needs to be rescheduled also! So, WTF is really going on?! Then even when you have a scheduled appointment, they KEEP calling with an automated message telling you that you need to schedule an appointment?! As a MULTI BILLION $$ company there needs to be A LOT addressed!! The scheduling and the entire system is trash on top of an already trash healthcare system. Who has the availability to keep taking time off work, for all these damn appointments and then have to reschedule and request a different time off?! It is in the best interest of the patient to know their insurance benefits: I have a high deductible for hospital-based services only. Standalone, professional offices and Lab work do not apply towards my deductible. I have been going to SimonMed for two years and I run into the same problem all the time. When they run my eligibility, my deductible comes up. I have an out of state plan. However, I know for a fact I only need to pay a copay for ANY Radiology services. I once had to pay the alleged deductible or I could not be seen. I paid and my insurance paid getting a refund from SimonMed took me three months. I see patients that go in and they depend on the staff to tell them what their benefits are. Not all eligibility programs are accurate especially with out of state, unions or small self-funded plans. Do not overpay. Getting your money back is time consuming. read more

Went to the facility at 13567 showing 1 person waiting and they tell you no walk in's send you to the 1325 Linchfied, the entire waiting room is full! Unsure if they have an office manager but they need a good one. Terrible customer engagement, Real Crime playing on the waiting room tv (I'm sure so the desk staff can watch) which shows a complete lack of professionalism. Totally triggering and inescapable - think harder SimonMed. While some might enjoy that type of show, others do not. There is absolutely a better option for forced programming. They are horrifically behind, even first thing in the morning. I was eventually left sitting in the tube at the end of my test while I could hear staff engaging with one another and laughing in the monitor room. Zero concern for the patient, concern for their perceived priorities. I will never return here. Pick a different location and hope for better, not that they will care - clearly their goal is to work as little as possible. And yes, I watched them send an elderly man on his way since they hadn't received his order without any offer to assist him. He eventually returned after he made phone calls to get it resolved on his own (oh, and yes I was in the waiting room long enough for him to leave and come back- if that's any indication on the wait time). I had to cancel my appointment but the next available time was a month and a half later an no where in the valley was available? Really spend 700 with insurance a joke itself and you can't get more appointments open very disappointing. If you can I would go find other imaging facilities to get your imaging done! Arrived as a walk-in at @1235 this afternoon and watched while a number of patients who arrived after me were taken. I was waiting for a chest X-ray which takes about 5 minutes. At @1315 I checked to see how much longer it would be and was told that a person they took before me (who arrived long after I did) was having multiple X-rays taken and I would be after her. I finally went in at @1355. I feel there were numerous problems with the customer service-1) I could have been told when I arrived that there would be a lenghy wait (as I was at one of the other (locations) and there could have been someone who actually paid attention and realized that hav g me wait 45 minutes for the other person when I had already been there almost an hour wasn't the best use of triage. I went in for my X-ray and was out in literally 3 minutes after waiting almost an hour and a half. Terrible patient management. read more

What a waste of my time. They won't take appointments for X-rays requiring you to do walk in only then they make you wait for all other appointments. Same person that performs scans performs X-rays so my X-ray keeps getting pushed out. It's been over an hour and they don't expect that I'll get in for at least another 30 mins. Arrived on time when they opened on a Tuesday - absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable that they place so little importance on my time. The light in this review is that the technician was great - friendly, quick and knowledgeable. She's the reason for 3 stars. If it hadn't been for her, I would've given 1 star. read more

I have gone to the Palm Valley location twice now for a contrast CT scan I have a history of kidney stones and have had many unpleasant experiences due to this. However, I have seen Jessie twice in 6 months and he so calming and comforting. He is professional but warm. Jessie made me feel like his only patient and never rushed. I would have given a negative 5 if possible. I tried to schedule an exam at this facility and the staff is of no use. I final got through to schedule an appointment only to receive an email the day of canceling it with no explanation. I spent over an hour trying to find out why to only be transferred and disconnected numerous times. Avoid this place at all cost!!!! I was able to call Banner Radiology and talk to a live person and got an appointment. They were very helpiful and I would recommend them. read more

I made my appointment a week out. No one asked any prior surgeries or anything like that when I made the appointment. I rearranged my schedule at work to go to my appointment. I fill out the paperwork in the waiting room and there I'm asked about surgeries and or foreign objects in body. I reveal that I have a clamp on one of my heart valves. A woman calls me back and her demeanor is real short with me and I can tell she's in a bad mood. She starts off by telling me how bad her day has been and that she was double booked all day. I thought it was very unprofessional but whatever. Now the issue comes up about the clamp on my heart valve what type is it. I ended up not getting the MRI that I really needed done because no one informed me this would be an issue. I get why I was not able to get the X-ray that's not the issue. My beef is that IF someone would've asked me important questions I could of had these answers before my exam. For a place that just does xrays all day they really need to get their act together and ask the patients the questions about past medical procedures. This place is not worthy of your money or time I would find someplace else to go to. read more

I was overcharged due to a coding error on their billing side and when I confirmed with my insurance I was told they had spoken to the location and advised me to visit the location for a refund. When I arrived the front office manager did not look at my receipt and kept cutting me off before I was able to explain my situation. She insisted she could not help me , again not even looking at my paperwork or even asking my name to review my account. I told her I would not leave and needed to speak to someone else. She then called her billing department gave them my information and was told to issue me a refund. They owed me $100 and she wouldn't even take the time research my situation. Very poor customer service and laziness on their end to not even try and look up my information or ask for my name. Had I not stood my ground I probably would never have gotten my refund. read more

I've spent over three hours collectively holding to try to get through to make an appointment and each time after holding for about 15 minutes my call is disconnected. Finally got through to someone this morning who took my phone number and name and then the call was disconnected yet again. Even though she had my name and number she never had the courtesy to call me back. I finally gave up and went online to make an appointment only to be told that someone will call me back. I have very little confidence that I will hear from anyone. Funny thing is, the recording says they are committed to the same level of service. I guess thier level of service has always been terrible. Oh, tried chat on their website. I've been holding for over 30 minutes waiting a response there as well. read more

I visited this location in May. At my appointment the person at the desk took my information including my copayment but forgot to check me in. An hour after my appointment I asked what happened and they apologized and I finally got in. A month after my appointment I was getting daily reminders to set up an appointment. I called twice and told them I was already there and asked them to stop sending me reminders but they still called daily so I blocked their number. I also started getting a bill for the amount including the dollar amount I already paid. The first time I called they said to pay the difference which I did but it didn't work. I called again to let them know I paid already and she said they can't find my payment and they needed evidence of payment which I mailed to them already. They told me to call the bank and do I dispute so I can pay it again. The bank said no, they can't do that. I tried calling twice to get a supervisor and asked if a supervisor could call me back with no luck. I went into the location and the manager asked me the same questions again and said it's a billing problem. She called later and said she emailed my payment evidence to them and gave me compliance number. I called the compliance and left them a message and emailed billing again. All this work and energy for a small dollar amount and their mistake turned big and not one of their employees apologized to me for their error and my time. read more

There's really nothing good to say about this place. I highly encourage you to get your imaging done elsewhere. You'll most likely receive a prerecorded message saying they've received your orders for imaging every single day until you get it done and then you'll continue getting the message even after you get the imaging done, probably because no one there knows what they're doing. But my biggest complaint is their hours. They claim they open at 8:00am and indeed you can go inside at 8:00 but unfortunately you'll sit there for a minimum of 30 minutes because they don't start working until 8:30. It makes absolutely zero sense. Which I'm assuming has to do with the owner unwilling to pay the employees to come in a few minutes early to get things ready but regardless the hours make no sense. Also go ahead and make sure you don't come in early because they just randomly decide who goes back with almost no discernible method. You can be the first person there like I was and still wait until 9:30 to get called back, long after they'd taken 10 other people back for the same thing I was there for. So like I said, I would highly recommend you go elsewhere. read more
