    I came to L&D at Abrazo West 2/3/26 for a second time to have my baby after having a mostly positive experience with my first. My second visit went above and beyond my expectations and I am feeling so healthy and happy as a postpartum mother now with 2 under 2. They even gave me a celebratory Bundt cake! Megan was my labor and delivery nurse and I had her with both the birth of my son and most recently my daughter. She cheered me on through my contractions, kept me laughing while I was nervous and scared, and counted for me during my pushes. When it was her time for shift change I was sad I couldn't keep her for the rest of my visit. It was like seeing an old friend. They moved me to the postpartum side and I had Alex as our overnight postpartum nurse. I couldn't have been happier and more grateful to have such a gentle and kind nurse to bathe my baby for the first time, and have someone care for me in such a vulnerable state. There was quite a few other nurses that made a significant impact on my husband and I. Everyone really gives you notice for what is happening, what to expect and thorough information for when you leave postpartum. I'm so happy I chose to deliver at Abrazo West again.

    This is only rating their heart cardio rehab center. The nursing staff there are caring, attentive, and personable. With this program, you get a heart monitor pouch and a parking pass. Only in the beginning phase of my recovery, but I am excited for this. Each of the nurses really monitor each exercise, get your bp, make sure you need water, etc.

    I went to the ER for face and arm numbness, I was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. The RN placed an IV in my arm and literally bust my vein, on top of that when receiving my discharge papers I noticed that the pharmacy was incorrect, so I mentioned that to the RN as well, he stated that it would be taken care of. It's been over 24 hours and I still haven't received my medicine. There's a bunch of kid's working here and don't know what their doing. This hospital is horrible and the restroom was filthy.

    Good thing it's a hospital. Vending machine prices will arrest your cardiac. June 1, 2023, 1700 (5 pm) I can write only about Nurse Monica, Student Gracie, Doctor Jasrotia, the former patient volunteer in an elevator, Physician Assistant Molly and the support team putting up with my hallway wandering since 8 am this morning. A family member has spinal compression with so much pain they cannot move normally - they're at ten percent normal and 90% pain. We ended up at Abrazo West Campus (AWC) for two reasons. There's not many hospital rooms available in our Valley. Abrazos West Campus has an excellent Spinal Team. My wife's family demonstrated Love for and Commitment to family in medical situations. This statement is the lead-in to why you might trust my review. In my working years, 2080 hours was the normal 5 day 50 week work year. I've spent more than two of those work years in hospitals, physical rehabilitation, acute care facilities, SCFs, SNFs, LCFs, etc. I know how family advocacy, politeness and good humor extends the lives of family members. I know medical treatment as a patient and as a family member. I've also seen my side of the family over-advocate, imagining a non-responsive, life-supported spouse would magically return to a fully functional, vibrant life if kept on the machines two more expensive, useless, suffering weeks. Oops, sorry about the digression. Not really. Our family member was transported to AWC. I heard in transport AWC has a very good spinal care team. Once arrived, the staff spent 7+ hours gathering and analyzing data - medical history, blood status, MRI. Lots of detail. Monica and Gracie were excellent medical ambassadors. Throughout the day they made the rounds - between other specialists. Dr. Jasrotia was thorough and patient in his questioning,, leaving a useful business card. The elevator volunteer said BWC is an excellent facility, she's been twice a patient. Physician's Assistant Molly brought the summary of the day's data collection and the course of action to come. She explained the findings, showed us MRI imaging, explaining details in an understandable way. She explained the planned course of action, brace, physical therapy and three months of follow up. Molly spent another twenty minutes answering questions regarding more invasive treatments and why the team chose conservative treatments.

I asked if there were a way to fill it online because my writing hand was injured -- could barely grip a pen and it was painful to do so. I can hunt and peck type on my phone. There was "a way but it would take too long." And just looked at me, no turning toward her PC. I thought, Huh. Well, crap. Sorry to be so much trouble. (Nobody in line, only a couple people waiting in all. I said, "It hurts to write." She said "Sorry" like she didn't mean it. And that was it. I was dismissed. I scrawled the info. Here ya go, sweetheart. (No, I just thought it, didn't say it.) Moving on, the X-ray tech didn't exchange a pleasant word, ask any questions. Nope. All about getting the job done. Just 3 views needed. Last view -- she wanted me to spread my fingers, which I could barely do and which was painful. Unconcerned. Hold that pose. Got it. Done. After all this devoted attention, it follows perfectly that I still haven't gotten the results. The promise was 1-3 days. Day 6 today. Never again, SimonMed.

    I have never had a night appointment for an MRI -- or any appointment for that matter -- but last…read morenight I did at Banner Imaging Estrella, and it was, by far, the best medical experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, I felt something different. I was immediately greeted by Alma at the front desk. Even though she was assisting another patient, she acknowledged me right away. Her spirit seemed to beam through the glass. Her smile, her tone, and the way she welcomed me made me feel seen and valued within seconds of arriving. I was early for my appointment, so I sat in the lobby -- but I didn't wait long at all. Soon, I was called back by Jocelyn. Her voice was calming, gentle, and incredibly kind. She provided the garments I needed for my MRI and reassured me that they would be with me shortly. There was something so comforting in her presence. Then I was introduced to Abby, the MRI technologist. She, too, carried that same kind and gentle spirit. Abby and Jocelyn worked together to help my tiny self get positioned into the machine, treating me with patience and dignity every step of the way. Before beginning, Abby asked what kind of music I would like to listen to during the procedure. "Smooth jazz," I replied. Throughout the entire MRI, she communicated clearly with me, explaining what was happening and checking in along the way. While this wasn't my first MRI and my situation wasn't life-threatening, it was absolutely my first experience receiving such outstanding, compassionate service. If anyone out there feels anxious or hesitant about undergoing an MRI, I would encourage you to visit this location. The care, warmth, and professionalism of these three remarkable young women truly transformed what can often be a stressful experience into something peaceful and reassuring. I sincerely hope the company recognizes and treats them well -- because they certainly deserve it.
