I love Abrazo West, the care they give is outstanding. They are caring and kind. They will do anything to complete any testing before releasing you. Their nurses are they best!! In March I had to be transported to the ER. My body lost almost all the fluids that is needed to keep one alive. I was seizing. They had the and lights going speeding to the Hospital. I was scared, especially when they took me into a room as soon as I got there. That was my 2nd Emergency, at least major one. I April I had another emergency yet my daughter insisted we ho to Banner E. Their nursing staff spoke ill of me right outside my room. I was like WOW I can you! I complained and I coukd the conversation between the charge nurse and the nurse. He said I asked to many questions and was bothering him. Yes, I had a lot of questions and I had to use the restroom a lot. I have epilepsy. No apologies nothing. I was then transfered to another floor. Originally I was on the 4th floor and they sent me to the 2nd floor. They do not do such as I stayed there 2x prior. The solution was to remove the patient so the nurse could go back to playing around with the CNA and other nurses or on the phone with his wife! Abrazo West is my choice...they are so professional. Unpopular opinion: this Abrazo campus is not hell. My loved one had a medical crisis and we went to the local urgent care. They diagnosed what they could, then said we needed ER care. They called ahead to Abrazo so they'd be prepared for us. Abrazo. Hadn't somebody said to me one time, "You don't want to end up in Abrazo." But, time was of the essence. Before I go any further, don't get me wrong: we experienced nothing but professionalism from the medical team. But, it was clear that the population has exceeded their capacity. Upon arrival, they had quickly began to run every test to rule out immediate, life-threatening conditions. We spent the night in a curtained exam room, waiting for results, and waiting for some team to show up the next day. There was a recliner nearby where I tried to sleep. Finding nothing life-threatening, they laid my loved one out on a stretcher in a hallway to await further diagnoses, hooked up to nothing. He was there 24 hours. Abrazo simply wasn't built to be The Pit. We binged that show in the weeks before landing here, and maybe that's what made this stretcher situation, right by the nurses's station, more tolerable. More, dare I say, watchable? Convicts in bright orange and silver cuffs being escorted by cops, a bicyclist hit by a car getting an x-ray taken in the hallway, nurses suddenly rushing to a room to revive a patient and, in another in a room hearing a man afraid of oxygen throwing up repeatedly. At one point I noticed a large group of staff and first responders huddled outside a room with a big plate-glass window. Not wanting to join that episode I asked a nearby nurse what was going on. He said, "Somebody was playing with a gun." There was a man on a nearby stretcher who arrived at the same time as us. His wife told me he was recovering from kidney cancer and fell ill at a family party. Half a day passed and I overhead a nurse telling him his pee was cranberry. Finally, after hours and hours in a stretcher in the hall they wheeled him off. From what I could tell, as far as they are able, they will do their best to save your life. And with a good attitude: smiles, joy, humor, patience, kindness, strength, intelligence. You have to be a special kind of human being to see that quality of life remotely satisfying. It's like being in a combat zone, everyone fighting for their lives against the enemy: Death, his sickle ready to swiftly slice your neck. I didn't see him win that day. I saw the helpers. What is it that Mr. Rogers said? "When there is a crisis, look for the helpers." The facility is overrun, and, no, you don't want to end up here. But, if you do, they will help you. read more

I came to L&D at Abrazo West 2/3/26 for a second time to have my baby after having a mostly positive experience with my first. My second visit went above and beyond my expectations and I am feeling so healthy and happy as a postpartum mother now with 2 under 2. They even gave me a celebratory Bundt cake! Megan was my labor and delivery nurse and I had her with both the birth of my son and most recently my daughter. She cheered me on through my contractions, kept me laughing while I was nervous and scared, and counted for me during my pushes. When it was her time for shift change I was sad I couldn't keep her for the rest of my visit. It was like seeing an old friend. They moved me to the postpartum side and I had Alex as our overnight postpartum nurse. I couldn't have been happier and more grateful to have such a gentle and kind nurse to bathe my baby for the first time, and have someone care for me in such a vulnerable state. There was quite a few other nurses that made a significant impact on my husband and I. Everyone really gives you notice for what is happening, what to expect and thorough information for when you leave postpartum. I'm so happy I chose to deliver at Abrazo West again. read more

I recently delivered my baby at Abrazo West, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. From start to finish, the care felt personal, attentive, and compassionate. My labor and delivery nurse Jami S. took excellent care of me. She was incredibly attentive, especially with monitoring my iron levels and high blood pressure, and made sure I was comfortable and reassured every step of the way. Her care made me feel safe and supported during such a vulnerable time. I want to give a huge shout-out to Dr. Miles Howard, my OB-GYN. This was my second delivery with him, and once again he exceeded my expectations. He always answered all of my questions and concerns, kept me calm and collected throughout my pregnancy, and truly listened to me. His bedside manner and professionalism are unmatched, and I am so grateful to have had him as my doctor. Thank you as well to Dr. Lee, the anesthesiologist, who took excellent care of me and walked me through the entire procedure. He explained everything clearly, listened to my concerns, and helped make the experience far less intimidating. The entire team at Abrazo West made my delivery feel personal, respectful, and genuinely caring. I am incredibly thankful for the care my baby and I received and would highly recommend this hospital and team to any expecting parent. They provide everything you need at the hospital for postpartum. They give you a Bundt cake with a cute onesie. They even do a special/celebration lunch/dinner meal which was delicious! read more

This is only rating their heart cardio rehab center. The nursing staff there are caring, attentive, and personable. With this program, you get a heart monitor pouch and a parking pass. Only in the beginning phase of my recovery, but I am excited for this. Each of the nurses really monitor each exercise, get your bp, make sure you need water, etc. read more

Had my 2nd and last horrible experience here. Will not be a 3rd. The only reason I went was my spinal surgeon loves the state-of-the-art ortho surgical suite. For a 2nd time I was sent to the ICU for a few days and had a nurse actually yell at me that I needed to shut up. Next nurse had been a nurse 3 weeks but was at least caring and sympathetic. My husband was mistaken for a homeless person in the cafeteria and security asked for his receipt and to search his (my) bag for food because an employee said they saw him put things in my purse. That situation was handled professionally and top staff came to apologize and offer free vouchers and coupons. Once upstairs my dressing was not changed for a week and drains never removed. Dining got everything confused. Had to wait for meds always. Finally got transferred to a rehab hospital and life is good again. DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU CAN AVOID read more

This review is for the ER for my husband's treatment on 26 Jan. His upper right arm (many different area) injured by cactus. At first, we went to urgent care & they couldn't take out everything so, he was admitted to ER. At ER, they going through Ultrasound and said that no cactus needles were found. After he was discharged from ER, he didn't take antibiotic med as his doctor recommended until there was any signs of infection. On 6th Feb, one area skin was red & hot. As his doctor recommended, he started take antibiotic med from 6th of Feb (The antibiotic med was subscribed by Urgent care doctor). Yesterday evening, my husband took one needle out from the area seemed like infected. Tonight I helped him through his arm again & we noticed couple different area that have bumps that we can feel & see with naked eye. At this point, we don't know what to do. I don't know would call supervisor shift doctor. Anyways, my husband's doctor & supervisor doctor performed Ultrasound & ensured us that there are no more needles. We understand that they tried to do everything to help us, but we don't know if they can help us resolve this. read more

I've had to come to this hospital multiple times because it's the closest option, and the lack of professionalism is unacceptable. During our recent visit, neither the first nurse nor the ED tech introduced themselves. They walked in, stated what tests they were running, and that was it. No introduction, no warmth, no basic courtesy. Patients are already scared, sick, and in pain. Kindness and communication should be the bare minimum in a hospital setting. The only exception was RN Violeta, who introduced herself, was kind, and made us feel calm and welcomed. She showed the level of care that should be standard for everyone. Do better. read more

I went to the ER for face and arm numbness, I was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. The RN placed an IV in my arm and literally bust my vein, on top of that when receiving my discharge papers I noticed that the pharmacy was incorrect, so I mentioned that to the RN as well, he stated that it would be taken care of. It's been over 24 hours and I still haven't received my medicine. There's a bunch of kid's working here and don't know what their doing. I fell and hit the back of my head and was so confused I couldn't even tell my wife who was the President of the US! The 5 hour ordeal I experienced in the ER at Abrazzo West was unbelievable. It was like being held hostage, with no communication or anybody checking to see if you are even still alive, left in a room to rot with nobody to care or say a word for hours. Nobody introduced themselves or told us who they were. We had no idea who the doctors were or if I was assigned a nurse or not! My heart monitor kept beeping that I had gone into asystole (which tells them my heart had actually stopped!) and beeped forever and nobody came to check! If I would have had a brain bleed I would have died right there on the gurney. Nobody would have come to check until I was dead and cold. They did not even answer the buzzer except once. I was never offered a drink. If my wife had not had a bottle of water In her purse I could have even possibly even gotten dehydrated. I got a bad headache from the bang on the head, hunger, thirst and they kept my glasses somewhere other than in the room I was held in and nobody could even tell us where they were! Just being without my glasses for hours made my head hurting worse. And it was so unnecessary. At least when the railroad left us alone with no communication for hours and hours the expectation was that you were probably healthy, at least, or hopefully you wouldn't be at work. In the ER with a head injury talking nonsense, not even remembering who is president and on a heart monitor there was no expectation of me being healthy! And yet I was left alone with no communication, no care, not even given water in 5 hours! Without clearly displayed name tags and nobody telling us who or what they were we couldn't tell the janitors from the doctors. If I were visiting someone at Abrazzo West and had a heart attack in the parking lot I would not allow them to take me inside Abrazzo for treatment! I would ask for an ambulance to take me to any other hospital Emergency Room than Abrazzo West! I have never felt less cared for in my life! They kept my clothes locked up in a security office which nobody ever seemed to be in or I would have probably walked out and gone to another facility if I just had my clothes. The buzzer was not answered to let me urinate for 5 hours, but finally someone brought a urinal in, but my wife had to empty it herself three times! Never again. The people in charge of Abrazzo West should be ashamed of the way they didn't care for me. I tried to fill out a form on their own website, but because I live in Buckeye and not Goodyear it blocked me from being able to do so. read more

The emergency room here is the worst. I have been here several times and it just gets worst every time. Been waiting over 4 hours on a Friday night. When I was asked what my pain level is and I told them 10+, you would think I would be seen sooner than 4 hours. When my husband was here before they kept pushing his MRI back everyday. By day 3, he told them if he is not gọing to get an MRI by tomorrow morning, he was going to check himself out because he did not want to have to pay for another day. They just wanted to keep him there so they can continue to charge the insurance per day to make money. read more

Terrible experience. I was airlifted there. I was parked in a hallway for hours, having to use a bed pan with visitors walking by me in emergency room. It took about 3 hrs to get pain meds and that was after I let them know it wasn't going to be nice when my pain level hit 10. I was admitted a day and a half later! Good thing it's a hospital. Vending machine prices will arrest your cardiac. June 1, 2023, 1700 (5 pm) I can write only about Nurse Monica, Student Gracie, Doctor Jasrotia, the former patient volunteer in an elevator, Physician Assistant Molly and the support team putting up with my hallway wandering since 8 am this morning. A family member has spinal compression with so much pain they cannot move normally - they're at ten percent normal and 90% pain. We ended up at Abrazo West Campus (AWC) for two reasons. There's not many hospital rooms available in our Valley. Abrazos West Campus has an excellent Spinal Team. My wife's family demonstrated Love for and Commitment to family in medical situations. This statement is the lead-in to why you might trust my review. In my working years, 2080 hours was the normal 5 day 50 week work year. I've spent more than two of those work years in hospitals, physical rehabilitation, acute care facilities, SCFs, SNFs, LCFs, etc. I know how family advocacy, politeness and good humor extends the lives of family members. I know medical treatment as a patient and as a family member. I've also seen my side of the family over-advocate, imagining a non-responsive, life-supported spouse would magically return to a fully functional, vibrant life if kept on the machines two more expensive, useless, suffering weeks. Oops, sorry about the digression. Not really. Our family member was transported to AWC. I heard in transport AWC has a very good spinal care team. Once arrived, the staff spent 7+ hours gathering and analyzing data - medical history, blood status, MRI. Lots of detail. Monica and Gracie were excellent medical ambassadors. Throughout the day they made the rounds - between other specialists. Dr. Jasrotia was thorough and patient in his questioning,, leaving a useful business card. The elevator volunteer said BWC is an excellent facility, she's been twice a patient. Physician's Assistant Molly brought the summary of the day's data collection and the course of action to come. She explained the findings, showed us MRI imaging, explaining details in an understandable way. She explained the planned course of action, brace, physical therapy and three months of follow up. Molly spent another twenty minutes answering questions regarding more invasive treatments and why the team chose conservative treatments. read more

Upon arrival, I was immediately checked in, went in for chest pain. Immediately put an EKG on me. Within minutes taken back to ER patient area not a room, blood drawn, BP, chest x-ray and EKG to monitor me according to my symptoms. I was constantly monitored even with the hustle and bustle of patients being brought in what seemed like every 5 minutes. This was between 7:00am-to about 10:30am on a Monday. The ER was well run by all the ER staff, everyone seemed to know what their job was, communication was obvious in getting to the patients that arrived via ambulance. I was reluctant to go to this hospital due to the recent negative reviews but as we arrived I saw the ER signage..."Chest Pain Center" so I felt I was in good hands. I had amazing care in the Emergency Room, MRI, CT scan departments. Had emergency surgery and the Operating staff was so attentive and awesome. My anesthesia team of CRNA's were wonderful. I was in the ICU for 5 days and had the best care available. My surgeon Dr Samuel Kim did emergent spine surgery with such skill and compassion that my outcome will be great. I went in for a "routine procedure". Upon giving blood, the girl hit me 3 times. When I asked why they don't use heat to help raise the vein, she said they only use heat in operating rooms. Well, Simon Med uses it all the time. Ok then, I go into pre-op in IR. Again, the charge nurse hits me twice. Needless to say, my arm has been green for a week. My procedure is at 11:00, and at 12:30, I ask about where the doctor is, and they tell me she is on her way back from lunch. So, I am diabetic, haven't eaten or drunk in over 16 hours, but the doctor had breakfast and lunch, BTW, not one person EVER checked my blood sugars. I walk in, climb on the table. They proceed to prep, tying me to the table, my head and hands. They told me I'll probably sleep through the procedure, but they were way wrong! The doctor came in, never speaking to me. She beings the procedure without saying a word to me; she later said she thought I was asleep. My brain and tongue lit on fire, my saliva burned going down my throat, and I thought I was dying or at least stroking out on the table. The staff was chatting so loudly with each other that no one noticed my crying until the end. The doctor left without a word. Then there is a four-hour lay flat recovery in the room right next to the staff. We listened to what sounded like a hockey match for 4 hours. Cursing, talking over one another, noise, doors slamming, dropping things, etc. So now no food or drink for 22 hours and definitely no rest. We get home, I faint to the floor, and upon waking, I start vomiting. My blood pressure dropped to 88 over 60. We call the Doctor, she has no idea. Fast forward one week, and not a single person followed up with me about the procedure or fainting and vomiting. I have had this procedure before, and given the info about it from the doctor, I totally underestimated it. It was painful and scary and grueling! My husband called it barbaric! I would not do this procedure again, especially at this hospital, EVER! read more

As an American with Autism in 2025, I cannot believe how I was treated by the staff during the 3+ hours I sat stimming, alone in a freezing room. This was more than just unprofessional. This AWFUL care an the EXPENSE of someone suffering with ASD that just needed help. From the start, the staff at Abrazo West provided an unfriendly environment for someone arriving ALONE with Asperger's and severe pain. They took advantage of my weak position, treated me to awful care, no diagnosis, no treatment. Lots of excuses. High pressure billing right in the room. This was a money grab from the moment I walked in to place. Now, I'm being hounded to pay a half dozen bills for NOTHING. The "patient advocate" "Sue" promised to be there as the bills poured in, she seemed sincere at the time, "empathizing" with my situation, promising she would be an advocate during calls with the hospital billing. (which turned out to be high pressure with that collections feel) By the end of the first call with their billing dept, the representative pushed me so hard to PAY that I started seizing on the call and melted down privately for over an hour after. And.... NO help from the advocate. She just ignores phone messages, no calls back. Just another corporate liar there to shut a person like me up. I wish people had a little more understanding of how this type of high pressure entrapment can destroy someone living alone with Autism. Might as well be the medical mafia. read more

Tuesday Eve, Went into ER for a heart issue. ER Patty/William triage were on it. Emergency room had a nurse come in and ask why probes to monitor heart were not hooked up. Her comment was that's what you're in here for right" and took care of everything. Next morning Wednesday breakfast delivered prior to blood draw oops said my nurse. Was told at 4:30pm on Wednesday I would be discharged and I figured 6:30 or 7:00. Now it's 2:30am and I'm still here waiting to be discharged. I feel like I'm a hostage at this place and I want to go home and go to bed. Prior to sending this review I read some others and my experience matches most of what I read. Then I see the follow up from Abrazo mother company apologizes ask for a phone number for more details. There were so many I thought maybe spend less time responding and more time fixing the top 2 or 3 re-occurring issues. AI some keywords and stop writing responses and take the actions! I'm sitting here still waiting and anyone I ask doesn't know is a routine response. I try really hard to be the best patient for these nurses all the time but the issue of getting me out of here is not on them as they tried and they did their job. Will be interesting to see the bill and if I get charged for the hospital not being able to coordinate between the two hospital docs at shift change and now barely any communication. Who am I to go to? The discharge made this experience the worst I've ever had at a hospital. read more

How dare you call yourself a hospital! The ambulance took my wife with a gaping wound in her arm to your hospital because you told the ambulance you had room. When she got there you kept her in a hallway the entire 4 hours she was there. One of the ambulance drivers told us he was very angry because you told them you had room. It was 23 miles to your location from Surprise. We only live a mile from Del Web. The wound in her arm was severe; the EMTs estimated she lost a liter of blood. She was kept in the hallway the entire time. The doctor stitched her up in the hallway in front of everyone (my wife was in her pajamas). Even though the wound was severe, the doctor said there was nerve and tendon damage, he said he was only going to stitch up the outside and refer to a specialist. Really Abrazo? When we saw the bill it included a room charge ( we never saw the inside of a room). I'm am so angry with you. In the future even if we got in an accident on the street in front of you, I would request they take us to a different hospital. The only saving grace was your staff who were extremely nice. Cardiac Rehab program is wonderful. I started with them not knowing what to do following a Trans-Aortic Valve replacement in my heart. I was nervous. The staff - Rose, Chris and Jade made me comfortable, and shared warm humor all the while performing their healthcare duties monitoring my heart (om - going EKG and heart rate) and taking periodic blood pressures and monitoring the Oxygen in my system. They set the standards and helped me through them, making sure that I did not over-do things, and encouraging me when I should step up a little. The professional staff is terrific, I feel like I am 'at home' with them, knowing that they will answer any questions that I have. This rehab and staff could not be any better - they are tops. read more

I am currently 35 yrs old and 39 weeks pregnant today. I always knew I would deliver at Abrazo and settled on the hospital after I visit the ER back in November. I had a great experience during a really scary time. So I was comfortable with them. I'm not originally from AZ so when my doctors office said this was their labor and delivery hospital, i went with it. My fiancée and I took a birthing class recently and we really enjoyed it. They gave us a tour and the class itself was informational. Here's where the issues started. I was sent over to abrazo due to my BP being high after a doctor's appt. I arrived and was triaged by a new nurse. She was left by herself and it took over an hour for her to work the computer system. Then she put in the most painful IV and caused me to bleed everywhere. But she was kind and we've all been new before! So I gave her some grace. I was release a few hours later with no real intervention. The next week my BP was high again, so I called my doctor's office (Adelante) and was told to immediately go to the hospital. I arrived and was triaged again. The triage nurse was abrupt, did not check on me regularly and from what I could hear was pretty condescending to other patients. Another nurse came by and she was very kind. The on call doctor came in, told me i was fine and would send me home with some meds for my headaches.. hours went by and no one came to discharge me.. I eventually left on my own accord. I had a doctor appt that day at Adelante where my BP was again elevated. They sent me back to Abrazo with instructions on possibly inducing me. I arrived and was approached by the same nurse who triaged me the first time. This woman acted like i was there for drugs. She didn't triage me or check my BP. Basically asked me why i was there then let me know she was waiting on a call from my doctor to see if they wanted me admitted. I could hear the phone call and know they spoke with Adelante, yet I was left sitting there. I sat for a long time by myself before she returned and stated they would induce me on Monday. It felt like Adelante didn't want to be bothered and neither did Abrazo. So this went from an emergency situation to "it can wait until Monday" i sat all weekend wondering if everything was ok. Monday came and I was admitted at midnight. After 5 rounds of meds and 36 hours in the hospital, they sent me home. I was fine, my baby was fine, my BP had been normal, but I was not dilating. The on call doctor told me there was no point in continuing medical intervention and suggested I go back to Adelante. Now I will say this, the nursing staff here was incredible. Brook, Megan, Sam, Marni, Wendy and Heather.. all Angels. Brook was my saving grace and my girl the entire time I was there. She was so kind, we chatted and got to know each other and she really made me comfortable. Marni made me feel safe and secure (she just has that confidence that she knew what she was doing) and in general all the women were kind and helpful. I know they don't have too much say so in my care so I want to make sure I state how awesome they are. It always seemed like they wanted to say "more" or give an opinion on what I should do, but kept it to themselves. However, for Adelante and Abrazo to supposedly be working together, it feels like the left doesn't know what the right is doing. I consider myself pretty smart and I can tell from the long pauses and side comments that the Abrazo staff doesn't entirely agree with Adelante's course of action. My issue is where is the concern for me and my baby? No one has really explained to me why induction is called for, the entire induction process was traumatizing and painful AND adelante now wants me to do it AGAIN with no real explanation.. i just want a safe and healthy delivery. My baby could come at any day now and I'm fearful of the care we will receive. No one seems to be able to give me a clear answer on whether or not we really need to induce. When discussing the induction with Abrazo it was basically "well ask Adelante" it's this back and forth of who's responsible for taking care of us and it's very concerning that they don't seem to be on the same page. I just want someone to be straight forward with me instead of passing me back and forth. Update: My baby boy was born on 7/2 and I just can't speak highly enough about the labor and delivery staff here.. the women working on this ward are god sends and some of the sweetest humans I've ever met.. from Mallory holding me while I threw up and comforting me through my C-Section to Brook being an absolute doll and loving on our baby.. Dr. Lee is a beast! Let's just say her and I are very close now. I had a hard pregnancy and even harder delivery. These woman I will never forget. read more

was told to check in at 10:30 for an outpatient surgery and the surgery was to take place at 12:30. it is 12:45 and am still in the waiting room waiting to go back to be preped for surgery. when I asked why I had to wait over 2 hours they said they don't have a bed available yet. read more

There ER is horrible spent over 5 hours had a small bowel obstruction never was even seen by a doctor. People with flu coming hours after me at least were called back to talk to the doctor. They made sure to get urine for a drug test I'm sure. No urinary samples provided. Didn't even ask if I consented to this. They do that to anyone coming into the ER. I was in pain but wasn't yelling, moaning or screaming as several others were, so there I sat until I told them I was leaving. Then they informed me i needed to stay, since I had seen the doctor which I told them I hadn't. I was never registered even. They went and talked to the doctor then told me I could go since they verified I hadn't been seen by the ER doctor. The crazy part about this story is I didn't ask or want medication such as pain meds or other drug seeking meds. I want a cat scan to see if my obstruction would clear on its own or need surgery. I'm a registered nurse working in PCU that eats healthy, strength trains and runs, I don't drink or do drugs I work to hard to keep my body up. It is flat insulting to be treated like I was a druggie. I would rather die than go back there ever. I give them ZERO stars less if I could. read more

A horrible experience for a patient. I would not recommend anyone goes here as the care here is beyond the worst. The person that came to this hospital 7 days ago who came with clothes a shoes on came home wearing a hospital gown, hospital slippers, nothing underneath and his own clothes and shoes packed in a plastic bag. No respect for person. Care was not great staff either not answering room lights and at one point not walking patients even though the doctor said he was to walk. read more

UPDATE!!!!! THEY ARE GOING TO LET ME DIE WITH INDIFFERENCE So, I finally got my Lumbar puncture. I called my referring doctor's office, Sami Kaldawi, no results yet.......I spent time to set up an online account, took some effort, got it......found they had my spinal results less than two hours after extracting it with a CRITICAL marking for PROTEINS in my spinal fluid. That was a week ago. I have looked up the causes of this.......I am in a bad spot health wise, and if I hadn't rattled some cages, and tracked this down, it would have been another week or two.....I sent my doctor an email with my result, he summoned the courage to have his nurse call me, so tomorrow I see my Dr Kaldawi while I am searching for a competent, proactive neurologist to treat me. read more

Wish I could give no stars at all. This place is a nightmare, wait times are long and good luck if you get admitted. Do not take your loved ones here, this place is full of people that don't care and don't know how to treat people and incompetent at best. My family member was in the wing straight ahead past the cafeteria on first floor. These people are still collecting money for giving patients the JAB. My loved one had never gotten one and had been fine and these people gave it to her, knowing how uncomfortable she was and how much pain she was in and they told her that if she didn't get it they'd have to put a mask on her, and she'd have to sign a ton of paperwork. Shortly after taking the JAB she started to have breathing issues. Nurse Taylor was the one who gave the JAB and just not a nice person. If you take your loved one here you need to stay there as much as possible and advocate for them or this place will do whatever they want. They mis diagnosed her in the ER as well, found out after we took her to another hospital, they told us she had two strokes and there were no signs of strokes. They ignore patients for hours when they need to go to the bathroom and can't walk, mind you as they were giving here laxatives. They were rude and just unpleasant to be around. One of the doctors was making rounds with a bunch of students and was just being a show off and asting like a jerk, he told her, You're a very sick woman. No kidding! He dug his damn fingers into her side and hurt her.I also had a neighbor that was there during covid and he was treated horribly, his wife said they were not keeping him clean and not feeding him, this was during covid, they did not allow any visitors. Their daughter from out of town had to call and threaten to fly here, she insisted on speaking to the doctor. Don't even consider this place! It's the closest but , do not let the ambulance take you here, not worth your life. No thanks JADE, it's a little too late. People know those are automated replies and/or just replies to save face. Prevent these things , nobody want to discuss their experience after the fact! read more

My visit to Abrazo West has been challenging. The ER is a nightmare but once I was admitted I was treated like a Queen. Thank you Abrazo for being here to save my life and thank you to the staff for all of their hard work! read more

I came in thru ER, Scared, with I thought was my 2nd stroke. After many tests, found out my blood pressure was High causing pressure on my eyes. I was admitted and blood pressure going down, my eye sight returning. In the hospital, my nurse, Ken, is Amazing!!!! I remembered him from my last stroke. He is So Wonderful and Amazing. He is very attentive, Sweet and caring. Kudos Ken!! You're the BEST!!!!! read more
