I went palm valley back in June 2025 to see my long time Dr, Davidson, when I went in for follow up in January 2026 the front desk was rude when I ask about wait (30 min) past scheduled appt. I was seen by Liani, she seemed nice and tried to change my original Treats follow up from 3 months to six month. I wanted to follow Dr.Davidson treatment plan, she agreed. I called to make follow and was told I had a six month appt and rude reception would not listen . i ask to speak with office mgr and the call was disconnected I called back several time and when they picked my call it was disconnected. I filed a complaint with insurance and waiting to hear back. Needless to say Palm Valley Avondale is unprofessional and staff don't give a damn. read more

After being dismissed and looked over due to age at other gynos this was the first office where a professional took the time to sit down and listen. After listening she explained my situation and provided options rather than shoving birth control pills in my face & dismissing me. Definitely recommend going here! If you care about your health and your baby's health, avoid this office at all costs. I came here out of desperation after a miscarriage because they were the only place that could see me quickly and accept my insurance. After such a traumatic experience, you would expect compassion, thorough bloodwork, and clear communication. Instead, they failed to inform me that my iron levels were dangerously low until I was almost 28 weeks pregnant. My results had been in since 8/28, yet I was never contacted and still haven't received the iron infusion I urgently nee and it's now 9/18 This kind of negligence during pregnancy is unacceptable and unsafe. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a healthcare provider. I was referred to this gynecologist's office by my primary doctor after experiencing pain in my left ovary. I scheduled an appointment with them, and they informed me that I needed an ultrasound. I did the ultrasound, and it revealed a lesion on my left ovary. Despite my pain and discomfort, they made me wait a week for a follow-up appointment to discuss the results, moving slowly and scheduling everything with delays. When I finally met with the doctor, she barely explained the findings, leaving me confused and anxious about my health. They ordered a blood test, which took three different nurses to draw just two tubes. Then they wanted me to get an MRI, which was scheduled two to three weeks out. My pain was getting worse, so I went to the ER, where they confirmed I had a bleeding cyst, which was the source of my pain. The MRI with the original office ended up being rescheduled to another six days later. Desperate for answers, I visited the office with my ER report, including a second ultrasound and CT scan, and asked if we could move forward with treatment. However, the receptionist was extremely rude, cut me off, and sarcastically told me I needed to wait for the MRI. She didn't even check with the doctor about whether my ER results might be enough to start treatment. I left the office in tears, feeling helpless and unheard. Right after that visit , I found a new gynecologist, who got me in the very next day. They provided detailed information about my condition and finally gave me the medication I needed. I canceled the MRI with the previous office. After all this, I called to speak to their office manager to share my experience. They said someone would call me back on Monday, but office manager did not. This office shows no urgency for patients in pain, seems unconcerned with timely care, and ultimately just wastes time and money. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

Love the staff and dr Howard! Always have a great experience interacting with them. It took me awhile to get into a drs office but they were able to see me within a few days. All the other offices around the west valley kept rescheduling me because they scheduled to many patients. This office was quick to get me seen. The wait time is long for dr Howard. Idk if it's that way for other providers but i was aware of this and the wait to me is worth it. He explains everything in detail and really talks to you as apposed to some providers coming in and seeing you for less than five minutes. So if you like a more personal dr that has great bedside manner this is the office for you. Highly recommend! read more

Very sad to state this but I had a great doctors visit and my doctor was so kind to me! I was in there to get checked out for issues I was having. I ended up getting blood drawn. It's been almost 3 weeks and I've still never heard a word back about my results, I checked the portal and the results are in there but have no idea what I'm reading. I've called and left 3 messages since they never answer and still haven't heard anything. Also the copay is extremely high! I paid $96 then got a second bill in the mail for $87..... truthfully this is why people don't get checked... Was hoping to make this my new gyno but will be looking elsewhere. Five stars for Dr. Howard, one star for Dr. Sun! I chose this place because my mother-in-law recommended Dr. Howard, which happened to be her old OB. I made my first appt, but got Dr. Sun sadly. The front desk and staff are amazing! They are so sweet and always smiling. I waited inside the room for about an hour and Dr. Sun comes in and it went exactly like this, "Congratulations! So the baby is too small to see or do anything. You have to come back a few weeks for another appt. Any questions?" I was baffled. I was like, "that's it?" I waited over an hour for you to tell me that?! The nurse couldn't have told me that and saved me that hour I just lost? He was not a people person and you can tell he was in a hurry to get me out of there. As soon as I got home, I told my husband about it and gave the place a call to change doctor. The next visits are all with Dr. Howard. He is amazing! I still wait about an hour in the room to see him, but once you see him, you will understand why! He takes his time to explain, chat with you, and let you see the baby thru ultrasound. He makes it fun! He does not rush. One time he got a phone call while he was seeing me, and he told the staff "I'll be right there" and still took his time to answer me and my husband's questions. He is great! The ultrasound techs are also nice. I especially like the male ultrasound tech, he takes his time and really explains to you what you are seeing. I've been with the female tech and she was in such a hurry, I was sad because I wanted to see my baby a little longer. The male tech was also able to tell me the gender at 13 weeks. The gender was confirmed by the doctor at 16 weeks, so that tech is awesome! Lastly, they were having issues with my insurance but it was all handled timely and professionally which is a major plus because this pregnant lady does not need anymore stressors. So if you plan on going to this place, make sure you get Dr. Howard! Be prepared to be seen by a lot of med students (I personally do not mind, they have to learn somehow), and be prepared to wait over an hour (it's worth it especially when I see my baby on the ultrasound). Update: Ironically, 39 weeks later and Dr. Sun was the one who helped me give birth. He was the on-call doctor at the time. He was very nice and he knows what he's doing. I had to get a lot of stitches and I think he did a good job because it healed pretty fast. read more

When I finally called the receptionist was rude and said they didn't make appointments online. I told her that is an option on their patient portal and she ignored me and asked my name. When I told her the reason for the visit she was rude. She then said they didn't have an appointment until the 27th, so I said ok. Then rudely said " do you want that???" I just want to start with, I absolutely love Dr. Howard and he is the only reason I come here. The office staff themselves are also friendly and make my check ins very easy. However, today (11/02/22) I had a very frustrating and inconvenient experience with the front desk. On 10/31 they called and left a voicemail that my 11/03 appt needed to be rescheduled, as Dr. Howard will be out. Lady on the phone offered me 11/02 @ 11:30am as the soonest available appt. I even said to her that it would be difficult to swing that appt because of work, but I went ahead and took it anyways. So I was rescheduled for 11/02. I called again on 11/01 @ 4:15pm just to MAKE SURE it really was scheduled for 11/02 @ 11:30am, as my mobile app was still showing an appointment on 11/03 @ 11:30am. Lady that answered the phone at first didn't even see my appt and then corrected herself saying "sorry, yes you're scheduled for tomorrow (11/02) @ 11:30 with Lauren". I STILL asked one more time if she was POSITIVE- as that's not what my mobile app is reflecting. And she insisted yes, 11/02. So come today, I take the time off work to be able to manage making it to this appt- and the lady at reception tells me "so you're scheduled for tomorrow at 11:30.." I immediately tell her that's not correct, as again- I CALLED TWICE to make SURE it was today 11/02. She asks "do you know who you spoke with?" Which is an infuriating question in itself as- A. The lady I spoke with not once mentioned her nice (as they should.) and B. Don't you guys log it in your system? Anyways, she says she'll ask Dr. Lauren if I can be seen today, just to come back and tell me "so she's tripled book today and said tomorrow since you're already scheduled." Absolutely not. I already had to cancel my original time off of 11/03 just to accommodate the SUPPOSED rescheduled of 11/02. So at this point, I just left and said forget it. I'll just be back in another 2 weeks for my set appointment of 11/17. Not only am I embarrassed for the office, but I am also highly upset as they clearly didn't know what they were doing/saying- wasted my time and now I have to wait another 2 weeks to see a doctor and ask my questions. Completely unprofessional. I hope they don't inconvenience me again as I would hate to have to switch doctors offices for a 3rd time. Like I said, I love Dr. Howard but I will not put up with disorganized staff. Completely their fault and unfair to the patient. read more

This review is not an accusation, it's a review of my experience as a new patient to this office. I went in for a problem focused area that required a pelvic exam. When Dr. Srivastava walked back in to start the pelvic exam, I noticed that he had his cell phone in his chest pocket of his scrubs, with the camera aspect of the phone facing out towards me (again this is not an accusation of any sort). I wasn't brave enough to say anything before/during the exam but felt uncomfortable and suspicious of the situation from beginning to end. There's no excuse for his phone being in his chest pocket during a pelvic exam, it's unprofessional and a huge invasion of privacy. I was also disappointed with the medical assistant that was there during the exam, they're there to advocate for us as patients and She failed to advocate for me. The site coordinator Seneida handled the situation poorly. She was defensive, rude and lacked empathy to my situation. The phone call with Seneida is what really took this experience over the top in the most negative way. I would not recommend this office to anyone. read more

It was horrifyingly uncomfortable. I know I need to make an appointment with a new clinic but I am still embarrassed by what happened at this clinic and don't want to ever go through something like that again. I made an apt because it had been a few years and I know I needed an exam and to ask questions and I still am trying to figure exactly what happened. First they put down I was pregnant so I got questioned about weight gain. Then I had to wait like 45 minutes to be seen because they realized they made a mistake. Then I had a breast exam which the doctor said "you just have lumpy breasts" then I had the quickest exam ever in which I was not asked any questions or told what was happening, I was not asked if I had any questions, they just left the room when it was done. No one told me it was over or where to exit or if I had a copay or anything. It was awful. I still shutter. Not the experience you want when you have to be naked. read more

The 1 star really isn't a star at all, it's a middle finger. Here are just a few reasons why: If you call, be prepared to hold at least 10 minutes. When you finally get an appointment, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes in the waiting area and another 30 minutes in the exam room. Take a list with you, and be prepared to tell the doctor exactly what you want. Then be prepared to have to go back for separate visits for each test, and each procedure, and each item on your list. Do not ask the doctor any questions. He will just look at you with a quizzical stare and shrug his shoulders. Do not have blood drawn in this doctors office, as they are not experienced enough to find a vein. You will only be tortured, poked and prodded, until you're black and blue all over, and eventually told to come back later and try again (yeah, right)! Do not expect a call with your test results, you'll have to schedule a separate appointment for those too, assuming they don't loose your specimens or results altogether. Do not expect the doctor to explain anything to you. You'll just have to do the research yourself. Also, be prepared to be left on the exam table with your feet in the stirrups, and the scope light still between your legs, as the doctor finishes his exam and walks out of the room, leaving the door wide open with people walking by. And do not expect to be treated like a human being here either, because at this clinic (and the entire IMS group) we're all just cattle, being herded through as quickly as possible. The more visits, the more money they make. It's all about quantity, and nothing at all about quality. In other words, I would highly recommend going somewhere else. That's what I'm going to do. Or better yet, I'll just wait until I'm dying and then go to the ER instead. read more

He performed a laparoscopic robotic hysterectomy on me after I was told by other doctors that I wasn't a candidate for this type of surgery. He is responsive and takes his time explaining things. I loved the way the staff were so nice and helpful. You could see they enjoyed being there. The place was organized and clean. It was my first visit and I must admit I was a bit nervous seeing a new Obgyn, but Dr. Howard made me feel comfortable, made me laugh, and best of all answered all my questions and concerns I had regarding my pregnancy. Yes, The waiting time to see him was a bit long but it's understandable since the hospital is right next door and if he has to leave in between his appointments to deliver a woman's baby, then that's just his job. I would not recommend this business to anyone. I have been to 3 different locations in the west valley and each time I feel is worse than the last. The Goodyear location does not respect your time at all, with wait times that expand at least an hour and a half even with an appointment. Trying to contact your doctor with medical questions takes more than a day, leaving messages and their answering service is a waste of time because no one ever calls you back and you spend forever on hold. If you need a trusting, dependable relationship with your doctor or their office, this is not the place for you. read more

Howard was my Dr. for the majority of my pregnancy. He was nice in the beginning, listened to my concerns and I felt like I had found a pre natal professional that I could stick with. Over time, I felt the quality of my appointments were going downhill and being rushed. I attributed this to the Dr. being busy even though he was always late for my appointments. It seemed my time was cut short to make up for others he wanted to take his time with. No problem, I never really had major concerns anyway. On 6/29 I raised concerns about possible preeclampsia. I was first troubled when I could hear this man openly discussing my concerns with someone in the hall outside of my room before he even came in to see me! When he did come in, I told him how I wasn't feeling great (low energy levels, concern over high bp reading and increasing nausea and heartburn). I was met with a condescending attitude to the point where I asked why he was speaking to me in such an unprofessional manner. Instead of apologizing, he told me it was because I was set on having an illness that I didnt have! Honestly, I didnt think raising concerns about MY PREGNANCY would be an issue. All in all he basically told me if I didn't like the treatment I got there, I could seek another doctor which is exactly what I plan to do. But not before letting others know about how unprofessional Miles Howard is. I urge anyone looking into him for care to read further google reviews. I decided to make an appointment with the clinic in Avondale because it was closer to my home. I have been going to my OBGYN for years but the drive to midtown is a hassle, so I figured I'd give them a try. Number 1. They send you an email with a link to pre-register which makes it so much easier if you don't like filing out forms. The questionnaire was long, but I filled out and hit submit. On the day of the Appt. I get there 20 min early to just be told I need to fill out the forms again, because if you don't print it out they don't have the info you filled out online. 2. The one lady up front, now sure which one but not friendly at all. Not rude but no customer service etiquette whatsoever. 3. I waited and waited for 30 min in the waiting room. I get up to go ask the receptionist how long it's going be and she asked me which dr I was there to see. I tell her and she says that that dr. Is out on a delivery at Banner. Really? You couldn't tell me that when I got there? I get it it's bound to happen he is on call and he is an OBGYN, but keep your patients informed. Why did I have to get up to ask?? One of the things I hate the most is having my time wasted. My time is valuable and I don't understand why Doctors offices don't find that mindful. I took the day off from work to have this done. It's unprofessional and inconvenient for people like me who work and have a full time job to have to reschedule. From the start I was not pleased with the office and staff and I would much rather drive to midtown then have to start over with another clinic just cause it's more convenient for me.
