She clearly did not want to accept any responsibility on behalf of SimonMed and didn't even offer to reschedule while I was there...told me I had to call the number to schedule. The scheduling phone center is outsourced to overseas or is a foreign based company. Not pleased that my only option is SimonMed. She was rude and should not be customer facing if she acts like that.

This review serves as a detailed warning regarding their severe administrative incompetence and deceptive patient safety practices. I will be transferring all of my future diagnostic imaging to Banner Imaging. My physician issued two distinct, connected orders: a Lumbar Spine MRI and a Pelvis MRI for my sacrum and SI joints. Despite presenting the physical paperwork directly to the staff, SimonMed failed to execute the orders correctly across multiple visits. At the Anthem location, I was placed inside the MRI machine with an emergency bulb. No one disclosed that my scan would be operated virtually by an off-site technician. I was left entirely unmonitored inside the enclosed machine for eight minutes with zero communication. When I demanded an explanation, the staff admitted the tech was working remotely and was not physically in the building. Leaving an uninformed patient stranded in an MRI bore without an on-site operator is an unacceptable clinical safety hazard, so I walked out. Following this incident, I rescheduled for a wide-bore MRI at the Scottsdale facility. Upon arrival, the staff botched the intake paperwork for a second time. While the first location completely omitted the pelvis scan, the Scottsdale location only had the sacrum order and lacked the lumbar order. Because medical imaging regulations require these contiguous areas to be billed under separate procedural codes, SimonMed's scheduling infrastructure and staff are completely incapable of managing multi-part orders. Their internal locations do not communicate, their front line is incompetent, and their practice of hiding remote operations from patients is dangerous. Save yourself the stress and go to Banner Imaging instead.

Disability reached out to Phoenician to get clarification on my husband's disability. Well the doctor didn't have any paperwork from the disability company and had no idea that they had reached out but his receptionist said it was in the computer. So the receptionist printed it out, after I asked about it, and took it back to the nurse. She came back after a time and said, you need to fill it out and then he will sign it. WHAT!? No, I don't have all that information. "Can you use the letter he wrote to excuse him from work?" No because it says, he's in pain and if you have more questions call the office. Again everyone is nice they just don't have a clue and communication is non-existent between staff as well as throughout their organization. Two stars for how nice they are.
