I don't know if it because I didn't get an appointment, but the last few time I walk in at 5410 w t-bird or 63 rd- Union hills either their machines are broke down or their technician didn't show up for some reason. Today I went to 73 -Bell and they said the only days they do X-rays is on Tuesday and go to the 63 - Union Hills location. So after sitting for an hour, the technician comes out and says their machine can only do X-rays up to 60" tall and so all chest X-rays are cancelled. I'm never going back to this zoo of a place. I recommend for folks on the northwest part of the valley to go to Banner Imaging at 7701 w Aspera Blvd. I got in and out in 10 minutes. read more

Do NOT use! My 94 yr old mother was scheduled there for a mammogram last week. I got medical transport for her and we showed up. They then told me they did not have a order for a Ultra sound. I stated the doctor only wanted a mammogram. They told me it was company policy to do a ultrasound. I argued with them to do it as that is not what the doctor stated and they would not do it. So....waste of 160 med transport and we went back to moms care facility. The Doctor was upset and said it was unethical what they did. He did send a order over for a ultrasound. Friday (moms appt. is on Monday) I get a call from Simon Med saying they needed an order to do moms other breast to (compare)! B.S. Went round and round again and finally cancelled moms appt. This company is NOT good to be doing this. Basically up charging people on limited income. Stay away!!!! read more

I had a 12:00 PM appointment at SimonMed for X-rays and an MRI. I arrived on time and sat there for two hours with zero updates. When I finally asked -- politely -- why it was taking so long, I was told they didn't even have the correct MRI machine for my needs. As if that wasn't bad enough, they never performed the X-rays I was scheduled for. Instead, the staff decided that me simply asking about the delay was "rude" -- and told me to leave. That's right, two hours of my time wasted, no imaging done, and I was essentially kicked out for daring to ask a basic question. This place is a joke. Incompetent scheduling, poor communication, and zero respect for patients. If you value your health, time, or dignity, stay far away from SimonMed. The lady who refused to help me was named Destiny. UPDATE: after being rescheduled to a different Simon med location. I showed up today, and they didn't have me down. So I'm rescheduled again, for a different location. This is the third time. This facility is a joke. My appointment was set for 6pm, the night prior to appointment they call and say that they don't have any patients scheduled before mine so they want me to move to 5pm slot. The quote thy gave me was accurate. The office staff was friendly upon checking me in and efficient. They were on time for my appointment. I did not get an X-ray and I overhear them telling a walk in that those don't start until after a certain time so cal ahead. Should have checked on yelp reviews before making the appointment. Years ago had a bad experience with their billing department. Someone took my address wrong and I didn't receive the bills. It got sent to the collections. And the manager was neither apologetic nor helpful. This time I am only picking simon med again due to the close vicinity. When I called and made a appointment at 1230. It was confirmed by text and advice me to arrive 15 mins early. When I arrived. The check in girl said the xray tech is on lunch. It may be 30 min to an hour wait. Showed her my confirmation text. She said the scheduling dept "does their own thing". It's still a walk in. They take patients whenever. Never have I encountered such ridiculous explanation. And sure enough. I got a new text stating "Your exam has been updated to 01:30 PM" I don't want to yell at the check in girl. It's not her fault. Probably the company needs to evaluate how their departments need to work together to ensure better patient care. Using the extra wait time to write a yelp review is better time spent I guess. I dropped off a simple insurance form at SimonMed Imaging that required just one signature. They assured me it would be signed and emailed back promptly. Instead, I was ghosted. No email. No call. Nothing. I've followed up multiple times and only ever reached a call center that can't connect me to the actual office. There is zero accountability and no way to get in touch without physically driving back there--again--a complete waste of time. This level of negligence isn't just annoying--it's going to cost me a significant amount of money. The day before Deer Valley location cancelled at the last minute and rescheduled me Previous to that I went to the Anthem location and I was told they didn't have a technician that could do the work. Wish I could give 0 stars. I hate that this is the only xray location in this area. The staff are so unfriendly it feels like you being there just ruined their day. 1.5 stars seems high for this place. They lost my X-rays but continued to call me for weeks after trying to schedule my appointment that I already completed and paid for. Go to literally any other imaging center. All Simon's are horrible this is the worst tho. I hope you have nothing to do for 4 hours after your appt time bcuz that's when you get seen. My appt was for 8am and didn't leave until almost 1pm. read more

Just a recommend....CALL and be sure they have the supplies needed for your exam. In the short 20 minutes I waited for an x-ray two people were turned away because the facility did not have the correct supplies. Have patience with older patients. We don't know the typical routine and we may not hear every direction clearly. Kindness goes a long way. read more

I do agree that the online check-process is a waste of time, but overall the experience with Arrowhead SimonMed has been very positive, from the receptionist who I thought was great as I watched her handle a very busy office with kindness and patience. I had appointments back to back MRI and MRA. Got to the appointment and was told the machine was not working properly. This is a long drive for me. You would think someone would've called to advise. I just spent 10 minutes trying to reschedule with a woman who is incompetent or just jerking me around. I never get another appointment. The foreign company Simon Med is using is useless. Very frustrating. I called my doctor's office and requested another imaging . company. I will Never use Simon Med again. Called to make an appointment, and was told, (after they checked the order), that I didn't need an appointment for x-rays. Walked in for an x-ray, and was told that they didn't have time that day. Duck season. I was then told that I couldn't have the other procedure done . "Other procedure?" Oh. Your doctor just ordered an MRI." "Oh. Okay. Well let's schedule both then." I swear to god she looked me in the eyes and said: " You don't need to schedule x-rays just walk in." Wabbit Season! "...oh...Kay. But since I DID walk in, and you have no time for x-rays...no. Let's go with just schedule me for the other appointment." Duck Season? "Okay." At which point she's looks really annoyed, turns to another employee whereupon they began discussing the remarkable oddity of my predicament. While I stood there. Wabbit Season! If I could give them 1/2 star, I would. They fail everything from scheduling to payment. Show up for a scheduled appointment only to be told they didn't allow adequate time for the test the doctor ordered and they needed to reschedule. Subsequent appointment, paid my deductible only to have multiple bills via mail, email, and text messages. I came to Arrowhead Simon Med on Monday & they told me they didn't do spinal X-rays today. Only on Wednesday & Thursdays but I could go to their Thunderbird location. I drove there & there was a 3 hour wait. I came back to Arrowhead at 9am on Wednesday & was told there was no one available to do X-rays until 12 noon. I came back at 11:50am & it is now 3:07pm & still haven't been seen. I have been coming here since 2006 & will never come here again. What a joke! Authorization was approved and I had the number to prove it. They said the only thing they could do for me was send an email to the authorization department and I would need to wait for someone to get back to me. They could not tell me when that would be. This place had come up, I had set up an online appointment for 12:00 only to arrive at 11:55 and them tell me only walk ins are accepted. Okay I was annoyed but hey things happen. Proceeded to watch many other guests have complaints and their needs not get met. They even had a doctor from another practice come in and told them to stop faxing over peoples sensitive information for the third time.... The staff in front desk were professional but the radiology tech was absolutely rude. He gave me instructions to change prior to my xray but he spoke too fast for me to catch everything. I just did something silly and wore the patient gown over my shirt when I didn't need to and when he saw me he went on about how it wasn't necessary. Then after I was done I heard him mutter "..people can't follow instructions.." to himself when he was alone on the computer side as I was still in the room. He was also physically aggressive as he was putting me into position prior to the exposure. Unprofessional. read more

UPDATE - in the next week I went to three different SIMONMED imaging places after 300pm and they all had a real funnt reason not to see me (no tech in office.....anymore that day, um...you might need to call first because the radiologist isnt here......um we are full now - as I looked at an empty office). Even though corporate and online portal stated they had time and availability till 500pm. I assume they are lazy and so is the whole organization. This location was great. Our daughter had to get some X-rays done and the staff was so friendly to her and us. They took their time with her and explained everything they would be doing. Worst communication and worst customer service i have ever received. Told me the price for MRI WITH contrast was around $200. The next day, they tell me over $300. I asked why and then said they'd call back. They call back and tell me it's actually over $400. I cancelled appointment. Then I called back to speak to someone else (I really need this MRI). Then I was told they'd only charge a little over $300. I showed at the appointed time, they charged me over $300 as promised.... AND THEN they tell me that they actually have to charge over $400. I requested they either honor the price or refund me. They decided to refund. Then I have to sit and wait for refund. Very sad situation. read more

I was scheduled at the surprise location but unfortunately their machine went down. I was prepared to go in when this happens. In order to accommodate me they moved my appt to this location. Once I got there they told me I had a 82.00 coinsurance payment due. I explained I had met my out-of-pocket max. The front desk person said she would confirm while I had a seat. When she was done "speaking" with the insurance team she informed me I had to pay 410.00. Not sure how? I have been to SimonMed twice in the past year and had no issues at all. The same insurance and been out of pocket met since march. I explained this again to the front desk person. She told me she was told differently from the "insurance people" When I asked her if I could talk to them she said it was through a system and I could pay the 410.00 and then ask for reimbursement from my insurance. I asked if I could speak with a manager and she told me that they had been gone for a few days due to COVID. All this was in front of two people in the lobby. I felt humiliated and treated poorly and not listened too. I will not return to this location. Hopefully, they can teach the staff how insurance works. EDIT: After speaking with the financial department I was told I would owe nothing for my rescheduled visit. She also stated that the finance dept is open until 10pm, so this could have been resolved had the front desk called the financial department. read more
