She worked hemmed my demin jeans and shearling coat and did it perfectly. It turned out to be exactly what I had asked for. An amazing job!

Always high quality and quick service. I have had all of my pants hemmed and tapered here! I was also able to have a suit tailored for my best friend's wedding and it was perfect.

I find a beautiful dark orange lace shirt on sale! Ugh too big.. my husband suggest I still buy it and find a tailor shop.. well I found this one and I'm glad he suggested it! The shop is in a weird spot.. if you walk to the address with google maps it takes you to the pedestrian mall and you'll end up in front of a chocolate shop and a massage place. I was pretty confused so I call and I'm directed to the right side of the building next to the bank. I keep walking and I end up in an alley I think I'm in the wrong spot but I keep walking in and I hit the tailor shop! So weird. It was $15 to get this shirt taken in to my perfect shape! I love it! I just think $15 was a little bit too much but she did do it really fast I gave her 5 days and she had it done the next day!!

Simon did a very wonderful job making the fox stole for my granddaughter. It was done with precision to detail and in a timely manner.

Simin did an EXCELLENT job altering a formal dress for me. Wish I had a before picture, but the skirt was loose and the fit was super awkward. She made it the perfect bodycon dress it was supposed to be, for only $40 and with only three days' notice! Will definitely be a regular - thanks Simin!!

The store is a bit hard to find - down an alley off 4th street - but a quick call and she talked me straight to her door.

I walk into the shop, take a pair of shorts out of my backpack, and show whom I believe is the proprietor the broken zipper. He says yes, he can fix it, and then asks as clear as day, "10 dollars ok?" I said that works for me. He proceeded to write up a ticket and asked me how soon I needed the job done. I said no rush. He then asked, 'Is Friday the 30th ok?' (11 days away). I also said that's fine. Next, he says 'That's 30 dollars,' but quickly corrected himself (realizing that 30 was the date he just mentioned), and now asked for $20. I said, 'But sir, you just told me the price was $10.' He became visibly angry, and said I was the one who made a mistake. While I attempted to talk, he repeatedly said "Bye" to me, so I left with my shorts. Here's the thing: I'm now Googling how much alteration shops charge to fix zippers on pants (which I assume is the same as shorts). What's coming up is anything from $10 - $25 dollars. So, I'm not complaining about the price of $20 -- I guess that's pretty standard -- I'm venting about how this gentleman made a mistake, blamed me, and angrily told me to go. I see others here have had great experiences. Glad for them. Maybe I caught this guy on a bad day.

Yady is nothing short of a miracle worker with alterations! My wedding dress had been with (who I…read morethought was) a very reputable tailor for over two months after taking my measurements. When I finally picked it up, it fit me very poorly. I was totally panicking and unsure of what to do with less than a month until the big day. I took it to Yady as a last resort, knowing she most likely wouldn't be able to fit me in. She totally could have turned me away seeing as it's basically the height of wedding season and I was giving her three weeks. Not only did she accommodate me, she was so friendly and reassuring about it, AND she finished the dress in 2 weeks so that we had a few buffer days to make final tweaks and get the dress perfect. Yadi did not owe me that kind of service whatsoever! I was blown away at her customer service. This was a tall order for a last minute request- NOT a simple hem job. The top of my dress basically had to be completely reconstructed. She totally saved my dress and restored my excitement about the wedding in general. Her prices were also very fair for what she had to do on the timeline at hand. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Hisami is a true artist with a needle and thread. I brought in a couple of items that needed some serious work--to include custom jacket apparel for kids and military uniform repair. Hisami not only took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, but she also offered suggestions that made the pieces fit and look even better than I had hoped. The quality of her work is outstanding. Every stitch is precise, and the fit is perfect. You can tell she has years of experience and takes immense pride in what she does. Plus, she's incredibly kind and patient, making the whole experience a pleasure from start to finish. The turnaround time was quick, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the work. I left feeling like I had brand new clothes! The seamstress had some questions but we talked through them on the phone and I thought all was well. A week later my fiance returned to pick up the dress and she hadn't even touched it. Although I wanted to wear the dress that weekend I was understanding. I came in to try on the dress for the seamstress and she pinned and chalked. She didn't spare my feelings when she said how cheaply the dress was made, making it hard for her to alter (!) 4 weeks later I still don't have a dress. I called her to ask what was happening and she said she hadn't touched it because she was nervous about the stripes matching up on the dress. What?! So you just let the dress sit there for 4 weeks? Now the icing on the cake: I told the seamstress on Tuesday that after 5 weeks I need the dress by Friday. She calls 5:30 on Wednesday night and says the dress is ready. She's lived up to her promise! Not so fast. I am ready to have my fiance pick up the dress the next day but the seamstress is going on vacation and won't be at the store the rest of the week. Ok. She offers to call me when she leaves work to meet me by my house. Redeeming herself! Nope. I never received a phone call. I called her and it went right to voicemail. I had to leave a message like a dork..."give me my dress!" I understand that not all alterations are simple and some take time. But 5 weeks? Especially after she clearly stated that weeks went by when she didn't even look at the darn dress? And now I have missed 2 opportunities to wear the dress (ladies, you know how annoying that is). I can't even speak to the quality of her alterations and I am afraid I'm going to have to go to People's Court to get this resolved (kidding, but seriously). I obviously do not recommend this store.
